Superstardom

Widow is famous. Like, crazy super famous. She has come out with only a single album so far, but it has exploded internationally. The music video to her dubstep single Big Bad Wolf went completely viral almost overnight and people fell in love for the cute, broken doll that is Widow. However, even with this much fame and fortune, she does surprisingly little in the public eye; interviews and even concerts can be a little rare due to her physical limitations, but because of that rarity she draws massive crowds.

Her Album

Her album Antidote of Sorrow is mostly fairly heavy music; discordant dubstep created by mixing the normal wubs and dubs to violin, guitar and her own voice. The classical music scene was blown away by two 'extra' tracks on the CD - one being her single One Woman which was a simple classical violin piece that just oozed with frustration. The piece was full of highs and lows with nearly violent mistakes made in the playing of the song. The other, Prayers, is her singing wordlessly alongside her own violin playing, using her vocals as a secondary instrument in and of itself to act in perfect harmony with her main instrument of choice. While the first song is held in high regard for the complexity of it's hidden depths of raw emotion, the second is heralded for it's raw skill and beauty.
