Music & Fame

• vanE helms a solo electronic project known as herbasacra, a potent mix of darkwave, coldwave, industrial, minimalism, neofolk, and the like. Previously to that, he ran synths/co-wrote for now-defunct industrial funk metal band Bombtime. If you are into the goth scene at all, you almost certainly know who he is. Even non-goths might be familiar with his music, since he's been producing albums for over 20 years at this point. He's known for his perfectionistic musicianship, technical mastery, and deeply felt songwriting. However, he has not performed publicly in many years.

Notoriety

• In his sect, vanE is also famous -- for something not-so-great. Please check his +info on the MU* for potentially RP-affecting information. (I like to keep a bit of OOC masq over here!)

Not Botox?

• If the Internet has it right, vanE should be about 45. But he looks damn good for his age. Even for a "celebrity."

Dark & Brooding

• He is, like any good eldergoth. He's also an introvert. Please don't give up on him due to his dour nature; he will make getting to know him worth your while. Peel the black outer layers away and you will find a creamy moral center.

Funny Punctuation?

• So he spells his name with a small first 'v' and a large 'E' at the end. His player spells it this way as well. Is there a reason? Guess you'll have to ask.
