The Road Thus Far
A wanderer, a vagrant soul, and a mystery with a knapsack; this, and a whole lot more, are what make up Sabin's personal culture and commentary on the world. There's a string of odd jobs on his work history, such as it is, and a lot of odd luck: he helped to deliver an albino calf in Billings, Montana, and then showed up two days later in Denver, Colorado for the first Hopi suicide in a courthouse since 1870. He's caught trains, planes, boats, cars, and everything in between, chasing or being chased: he has several different stories, each of which sounds convincing.
For the time being, he's content to be content, and absorb what the world has to offer; he'll laugh, smile, and play a song, from a funeral dirge to a wedding toast. If life is a party, he's on the invite list, forever sneaking in more and more guests until the whole thing falls apart or he's ejected entirely. And that suits him just fine: there's always one more party, after all.
