Level 2

Wings of Olympus

Gnosis 6

A masterful, elaborately tattooed set of feathery wings spans most of Iris's back, the ink work is done in very thin black lines and pale white ink hand crafted from night blooming herbs, ashes, and blessed oils. Bound into the tattoo is a Dove spirit who, upon successful activation, blesses the user with a set of functional wings. Snow white with a light golden sheen, the wings require a Dexterity+Flight roll for use, difficulty based on weather conditions or ST discretion.

The Garou can fly at 20 mph and hover as she desire, however difficulties for stealth and combat maneuvers increase by one.

Taboo: Both for proper function as well as in respect to the spirit within, the wings tattoo may not be covered by constricting clothing. It would hurt to burst them through a tee shirt (or bra), and peace shouldn't be under wraps anyway. Shawls and blankets (or fur) are fine, it gets cold sometimes.

This fetish is a stylized form of the effect of the Rank 2 Gift: Spirit of the Bird, hence the level rating of the fetish.


Pipes of the Other World

Gnosis 5

This fetish appears as a finely made set of Pan Pipes crafted of wood from the olive tree and carefully etched with glyphs of the Black Fury tribe, and honorifics to Zephyr and the Olympians (the Celestines). Its light and natural song pulls at the spirit - literally.

When successfully activated, every 2 successes to a Charisma+Performance vs 7 roll subtracts 1 from the difficulty of Mystic rituals; the difficulty rating for Seasonal Rituals is decreased by 1 for every 1 success.

An Air elemental is bound within the pipes, giving the pipes their eerie, mystic sound quality.


Spirit Drum

Gnosis 5

A small drum carved from wood and bound with the hide of a small mammal, it's decorated with colorful beads, decoratively knotted thread and a few small owl feathers. Glyphs for Owl, Wisdom, Spirits, and Friendship are carved into the drum's surface.

This drum helps the drummer to call Gafflings, Jagglings, and other minor spirits. The player rolls Dexterity+Performance vs the drum's Gnosis (5); the number of successes adds to the dice pool to call the spirit in a Rite of Summoning.

An Owl Gaffling is bound within the drum.

Level 4

Thorn Bow

Gnosis 7

The Thorn Bow is a standard wooden bow, bound with an aggressive Wyld spirit. It may only be fired with wooden arrows, although they may have stone or metal heads. When activated, the fetish breathes life into the arrow which begins to bloom into flowers, thorns, and other signs of life as it is fired. This doesn't affect the aim of the shot, but when it hits the arrow continues to bloom, digging into the body and painfully aggravating the wound. The arrow causes aggravated damage, and every turn after the initial wound, the victim takes another health level of soakable aggravated damage until he takes a full turn to rip the arrow out.

Level 5

Hearthstone

Gnosis 8

A large stone bound with a Butterfly spirit, when placed in a domicile it becomes a link to Gaia and permeates the home with tranquility and calm. Activated, the area around it (up to the size of a small house) becomes linked to Gaia in the manner of a Caern. Garou are able to regain Gnosis through meditation within a domicile that contains an activated Hearthstone. Only works within a permanent residence.


Talens

Gaia's Breath

Gnosis 5

A small dried gourd imbued with a spirit of healing. When crushed and sprinkled over an open wound, the talen heals up to 4 health levels of damage, even if it is aggravated.


Clear Water

Gnosis 4

Activate, and pour it out into water to cleanse a body of water clean of pollutants, or drink the thing to cure disease/poison.


Fade Out

Gnosis 6

Throw it to the ground at your feet, it bursts into smoke and turns you invisible for successes/minutes.

Can be activated with Willpower instead of Gnosis


Hurry Home

Gnosis 5

Also a smoke bomb! However instead of invisibility, when the smoke clears, you have been teleported to the place you keyed it to before hand

Pain Gem

Small glass marble, throw it Dexterity+Athletics vs 5, explodes for the users Rage in agg dice


Bent Vine

Gnosis 5

A withered and dried piece of kudzu, no more than 3 inches long, with a glyph scratched into it. If dropped onto any type of soil, it springs to life as a hydra of greenery. If also brought into contact with any existing vines, it stirs them into a frenzy of explosive growth. The Bent Vine and all vines affected are violently aggressive and do not distinguish between friend or foe.

Vines have Strength 4, Dexterity 5, can make up to a dozen attacks per turn. Must contact soil or plant matter to activate, at which point growth is instantaneous. A contested Strength vs 6 roll is necessary to tear loose from a clinging vine, but as up to five vines can nab a Garou sized target at once, it's entirely possible to be overwhelmed.

Lasts for 5 turns, 1 point of Rage spent doubles the duration.


Golden Apples

Gnosis 7

Bound with three separate tree spirits, these apples appear to be skinned, stemmed, and leaved in polished gold. When activated, the golden shine becomes more powerful. A sense of incredible life flows from the Apples and causes any who see them to want to devour them more than anything else. A Willpower vs 6 roll is required to resist the temptation to fling all else aside and focus solely upon eating the Apple. When eaten, the Golden Apples roll their Gnosis vs the eater's Rage, or 6; every success restores one health level.


Elemental Camouflage

Gnosis 7

Colored wax bound with a frog spirit, melted and dripped on the body, becoming brightly colored markings in the Garou's pelt. The wax shifts and mutates to cover the body and counter the spirit being fought; being covered in ice or water while facing a fire elemental, or being covered in leaves and flowers while facing a bane, for example. When attacking spirits, the affected Garou does +2 damage and adds +1 die to all soak rolls.


Apollon's Arrows/Atum's Arrows

Gnosis 7

When activated and fired, the arrow becomes infused with sunlight, turning into fire. The breaks in the arrow's shaft cause it to rupture mid-flight into three balls of flame that each head towards the same target in a shotgun-like effect. They thus lack penetration but do considerably more damage against creatures vulnerable to flame such as some fomori and vampires. Against foes vulnerable to fire, Apollon's Arrows do 8 dice of aggravated damage and are at -1 difficulty to hit. However, against any other foes, they only do 1 die of lethal damage.


Bane Arrows

Gnosis 4

Hit banes automatically and inflict 3 dice of aggravated damage. Furthermore, the bite of a Bane Arrow is so painful that no bane can resist howling in agony. Wyrm spirits can sometimes sense the presence of these talens and they may not wait for the archer to fire before acting. Bound with a spirit of war, air, or pain.


Dronekiller Arrow
