Childhood
Mirela grew up as a happy child within her family's kumpania traveling the roads of North America, listening to the stories of the elders who came from Europe. She was the baby of three, born six years after her twin brothers,Zindello and Pitivo. Zin is good with animals that travel with the family, while Piti handles the mechanics, not to mention the ladies. Showing a gift with alchemy and herbs, she was soon apprenticed to an aunt within the kumpania who began to teach her all that she needed to know for any potion she might want to make.
Secrets
Growing up, Mirela knew of the leader of their kumpania, Rakash. He was their savior, or so the older ones said. A good man, someone to trust. He helped them in his ways. And they helped him in return. When she turned sixteen, she began to learn the truth of who and what he was, at least the basics, soon drawn into the inner circle and given the first level bond to him.
When she was seventeen, she got involved with a few kids and ended up getting arrested. She was just along with the kids for the ride in a fancy car, or so she insists. The cops said she was an accessory to auto theft. She did a little time, some community service, and since then, left the town, the mark remaining on her record.
Recent
The kumpania came to Prospect, choosing to stop here for a while. They have set up outside of town, and are starting to let it be known that they are open to visitors. Need your fortune told? Perhaps a potion for love or wealth or health? One never knows what they might find for sell.
There have been a few changes around the kumpania. First, upon her eighteenth birthday, Mirela was taken as Rakash's ghoul, becoming his second over the camp. Still, she bows to the Elders in most things. However, soon after, Rakash left to tend to business, and has not returned, leaving Mirela and the Kumpania without their leader. Fate would step in one night, bringing Mirela across the path of Alaster. In one meeting, he would ascertain her need and strike a deal with her, and the Kumpania would gain a new benefactor.
Proving herself to be a trusted ghoul, just after the 2013 new year, Mirela was offered the choice by Alaster to become something more, and join him in the ranks of the Lasombra. Agreeing to this, she found herself embraced by him along with another on the same night. She was in the process of learning what it meant to no longer be mortal when a series of events led her to leave her Sire's home, and be placed under the eventual care of another Kindred to finish her fledgling lessons. She spent most of the time with her new mentor or back with her familia as she adjusted to this new way of life.
Present
After many weeks in the shadows, Mirela began to come out, to engage herself in the Praxis. She's been busy getting to know the various members, including even some within the Independents of Prospect. It was a surprise to some that the young fledgling, with the help of two others, managed to buy the Carnegie Theatre, and has been busy making what few changes to it she wished to see it continue within the city. For one of the Shadows, she has certainly stepped into the limelight, though it might be attributed to both her Ventrue mentor and Toredor co-owner.
