Marin Siku/About
New face around Prospect, one would be most likely to find Marin at a sporting event, at UC Prospect, or at the beach.
He seems to have a few jobs in hand, but neither are actually full time. His main focus seems to be helping around the alternative sporting events. He's made contact with the local Roller Derby association to serve as one of the medical professionals required for them to run as a league in the city/county, as well as qualify for the various national organizations to send a representative team to compete on the national level. This is rather seasonal and limited in context to one or two days a week, devoted to practice session and live event. Secondary to this he is one of the medical personal at some of the MMA events, the guy that medically examines fighters before going in the ring and attending them in the corners. He'll seek opportunities for other events as needed, such as Skateboarding competitions, Surf competitions, and the like. He is certified in California as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, a requirement to serve at these sports/events/activities.
Those are not full time gigs, the closest thing he has to this his new role as an adjunct professor to teach with one or two classes at the undergrad level on career medical track students; medical and allied health professions. The courses he helps with are generally team taught lecture style courses and he's basically one of three to six instructors likely to lecture on specific areas of focus grouped into the general topics required at lower levels while students work on their undergraduate degree.
