She volunteers at several local homeless shelters during the daytime hours. If you've been around one, you might recognize her as someone who helps out with minor medical matters.

• Minor Medical Matters

Though no longer a practicing doctor, Mags has been known to help people too poor to afford medical care with minor medical matters.

• Local Hospital

Mags retired as a trauma surgeon four years ago, but she does keep in touch with friends and new faces at the hospital.
