Katharina began her life in the year of our Lord, 1175, in the city of Starhemberg, Austria. She always had a love of music, and deep faith in God. She entered the convent as soon as she was old enough, and was able to listen and study music as best she could as a woman at that time. She ended up in Romania, then her life changed upon meeting Arianne. She was embraced, but continued to serve the church.

Since then, she met up with a group of other kindred, that became her coterie. Their Sires all knew each other, and helped put them together. This coterie has been through many challenges, from building a stronghold in the Tihuta Pass, stopping an Earthbound demon, meeting up with Vlad Tepes, as well as Tremere, to attending and participating in the Treaty of the Convention of Thorns.

Present Day

Once Katharina's group woke up, with memory loss back to the 1400's, the group has slowly begun to acclimate to the present day, and how they may have got to the mountains of Idyllwild, California, USA. Since exploring, and finding the praxis of Prospect, they each have taken some time to learn of the childer there, and find a new path. With so many Toreador in Prospect, and their group tending to be centered around her library (which is present in the school she founded before they lost their memories), she declared herself Prince of Idyllwild, and named her dear friend, Milenka as Seneschal. Within the year, a deal was made for Idyllwild to join with Prospect and Carlsbad to form the Imperium as the Praxis of Greater Prospect. Under Imperator Torvik's rule, Katharina serves as Duchess of Carlsbad and Idyllwild currently. She spends time in both fiefs, as does others of her coterie.

Katharina strives to help and teach the childer, not hold them back or try to take them down as their Sires/Elders had tried to do to her coterie. Currently, she and others of her coterie are suffering from a curse which has left them afflicted much like the Nosferatu. With no cure yet in sight, there is much research being done to see how to help the Elders of the Praxis.
