Legendary Bygone 

Almost everyone remembers Medusa, whose beauty inspired a god to defile a rival's temple with her and who brought down the wrath of a goddess upon her too-beautiful head. Fewer remember her elder sisters, Stheno and Euryale. Stheno, currently using the name Kalliste Grimaldi, is ancient. The world is not so large a place as to rule out the possibility of paths having crossed, even run parallel, in the past.

Those with their fingers in the proper pies might have seen her name come up in connection with some commercial development. Though the exact nature of the project is not immediately obvious, it's involved liquor licensing and commercial food permits.
