Howland/Retainers
Mia is a likely point of first contact for people attempting to find Howland. She is his ghoul companion and personal assistant, seeing to his daytime affairs and arranging the details of his nightly parties. She tends toward impatience and dismissiveness with strangers but becomes docile and supplicative in the presence of her master. Howland uses Mia to assess a person prior to meeting them.
Former private military contractor, Marco is Howland's bodyguard and driver. Though a ghoul now, his service to Howland goes back to a time prior to his embrace. Marco knows full well that he has little chance in combat against the supernatural elements which might endanger his master - he's long accepted his own mortality (even if Howland has temporarily arrested it).
