Garan Haters

Okay there are allot of people hating on me for things they do not understand or do not think of as fair and I am going to address this once and only once. I have gone through allot of trouble RP and sacrifice to get some thing that I have gotten and people do not think I should have.

Mind Shield

Yes as a vampire I have a mage mind shield. It was put on me by a PC mage that chose to do so of her own free will. She went through allot of trouble to earn the ability to do so. She made the sacrifice of maximum number of rotes going to do so. In return I have not only done everything she has ever asked, but I also have to live with the knowledge that she has the ability to mess with and control my mind at will and there is NOTHING I can do to stop her. It is a bond of trust, friendship, and family. If you go through the trouble to develop this same kind of IC relationship and extend that level of trust it is something you can do for yourself. I chose to make that sacrifice just as you have to ability to get off your butt and make the same choices.

Immunity to Roscheck and Frenzy

I know this is a very important part of a vampires nature and a primordial weakness. There is a level one ritual of thaumaturgy that I have that allows me to do this for a single night. I never raise my temporary willpower above nine because I cast it each and every time I wake up. ANYONE with thaumaturgy can learn this ritual. If you play a clan without thaumaturgy then that was your choice and it is not my fault you do not have this ability. I do not do this because I want to cheat and twink the rules. I do this because I do not want some street punk with a road flair to make me his bitch. It is an issue of survival.

Fetish/Spirit Magic

It is a Thaumaturgy path called Spirit Thaumaturgy. Just about every Tremere takes it. I’m not the only vampire with this power. No I will not point the others out. Also a side note about vampires and spirit magic. It is not the same as Garou magic. You botch an activation roll as a shifter the spirit does not automatically break loose and try to kill you! No fetish works automatically, all vampires have to force the spirit to obey. Every time they use the fetish they are risking their lives.

Daylight

I have dominate 5. This allows me to take a mortal body. I have the ritual to make me immune to frenzy. I do not go ape shit crazy when I see the sun. lastly I made a fetish that allows me to stay awake during the day. Yes I can walk around during the day but I am severely weakened and pay a dear price for it. My dice pools are cut severely and I have to spend allot of willpower to get everything to work at once. If I botch the fetish roll the angry and VERY, VERY powerful spirit breaks lose and tries to eat me. I literally risk my life each and every time I use this series of abilities. Not to mention I lose most of my powers. Again I make a sacrifice that if you’re a Thaumaturgist and willing to make the exact same sacrifices then you to could do it. Don’t be a hater because you made different choices.

Aura Checks

I always ask first, ALWAYS. If you say Id rather you not do it then I do not do it. I always give you the choice even when it is my right to do it without asking. I always give my reason for doing it and if you just feel it is not a good enough reason to do it, then I do not do it. If you say I don't care then I am going to do it.

Thaumaturgy

I am still debating putting why I have this discipline in. It would be to easy for someone to cheat and kill my character with this knowledge.
