RP Hooks
  • Sabbat - Though Ford predates the Sabbat, and was part of the original Anarch Revolt, has slumbered through much of the Sects history. Much of it is still new to the Elder, but he'd rather play with the wolves then the sheep.

  • Sin - He is a staunch follower of the old Road of Sin. While most vampires have converted to the modern paths that were created in the Black Monastery, Ford still walks the old Road, and he is proud of it.

  • Old - While he's hopscotched through history, he spent many of his years, including his mortal ones, in the 12th and 13th centuries. He was a Knight, and a Crusader. Eventually he was a Baron, ruling over the peasants before his Sire decided he was worthy of Embrace.

  • Patricide - During the Anarch Revolt Ford killed and diablerised his Sire, as many Lasombra of the time did.

  • Wealth - Old money, mixed with smart investing over the centuries has given Ford far more money then he could ever need. He's indulgent, and loves his excess.

  • Hedonist - He's already damned, so why not indulge in every sin? He's a hardcore hedonist in a way that would make Zantosa blush.

Timeline
  • 1123 - Sanford is born to Baron Darren Sussex, in Sussex. He was the second oldest son, so as was the norm, he entered Squireship at an early age.

  • 1133-38 - Sanford is Squired under Sir Brandon of Islington, learning the ways of becoming the Knight he will one day be. In 1138 his Knight is slain in a duel while defending his Lord's honor. Sanford is left without an anchor in the sea of politics, and 'finds God', joining the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon...also known as the Knights Templar.

  • 1139-1159 - Sir Westington, as he abandons his rights to fiefdom when joining, travels to the Holy Land as a Crusader. He spends much of his time stationed in Acre, but journeys out to defend Pilgrims and do many other things in this time. In the face of adversity and violence, his faith stays strong.

  • 1160 - Sir Westington suffers a grievous wound to his right leg while fighting heretics, almost losing it. Due to the wound he takes saving a small Christian family, along with several fellow Templars, he is allowed to return to Europe. He settles back in Sussex, aiding as a priest to his family.

  • 1164 - His father and older brother both fall terribly ill from a pox and die within the Summer. Sir Westington is allowed to retain his original title, while staying a Templar (Due to a good amount of coin changing hands, and a notable donation to Templar and the King's coffers), and he becomes Baron Sanford of Sussex.

  • 1170 - His mysterious 'uncle', Lord Donovan, arrives at the estate and demands hospitality. While he is there he Embraces the Baron. He brings him into the Lasombra, explaining his purpose to rule. The act of become a Cainite somewhat breaks the incredibly faithful man, and he begins to dedicate himself to the Road of Sin, believing himself damned.

  • 1171-1230 - His Sire treates him dismally while Ford continues to rule the Barony through his mortal children and grandchildren. He is constantly abused, dominated and mocked.

  • Anarch Revolt - During the Anarch Revolt of the Lasombra and Tzimisce Clans, Sanford uses new allies to stake and diablerise his Sire. He leaves the estate in mortal hands and begins to rampage across Europe in one of the first 'Sabbats'.

  • 1412 - One of Hardestadt's Archos puts Sanford's Sabbat down, and he barely escapes death, only to be torpored in the rubble.

  • 1790 - His mortal descendants dig up his body, and transport him to the New World. There he awakens, and begins to slake his thrist on colonists and Indians alike. The Sabbat soon arrives as well, and he familiarizes himself with the descendants of the old cause.

  • 1812 - Sanford is burnt and staked during a Sabbat raid on Toronto. He barely survives, once again, and his ghouls transport him to the Western Territories.

  • 1980 - Sanford awakens and begins learning of this new era. He stays mainly in western Canada, but over the years he begins to travel south. Now, he has finally arrived in Prospect.
