Concept
|
|
The infamous serial killer has struck again. Four murders in as many weeks. Each victim left with their heart ripped out of their chest. Every city in America has had to deal with a killer in one form or another in its history and Prospect is no stranger to death. These murders, however, are different. The victims are random - ranging in age, sex, body type and occupation. They are found at various points around the city in no obvious pattern. One thing is certain - the hearts were not cut out by a knife. Damage to the bodies indicate that the ribs were broken -in- to the chest cavity as though the person was struck with some heavy object that broke through the rib cage and then extracted the heart. NO defensive wounds have been found on any of the victims suggesting that they did not fight their attacker in any way.
- This is basically a quest to uncover what is ripping the hearts out of these people, what they are doing with them, and how to stop it. The event should have the over-arching theme of a Jack the Ripper case.

Specifics
|
- Victim #1: Black Betty. A caucasion woman in her late thirties with raven-black hair of average height and weight and mother of two. Waitress.
- Victim #2: Tiny Tim: A small man, only eighteen years old and a student at the University. Small in size, only five-foot-six. Single.
- Victim #3: Sunshine Sue: A young woman with blonde hair wearing a sunflower printed top in her mid-twenties. Counseling case worker. By all accounts a beautiful woman.
- Victim #4: Mighty Mark: A powerfully built man in his late twenties. Excellent physical condition and an ex-marine now working in private security.
Rumors
- Street: A prostitute swears that she saw #4 speaking with an older woman only twenty minutes before he was found dead.
- Magi: The hearts were taken - someone trying to ramp up their life magic? A rote to rewrite their age?
- Vampires: A vampire could easily rip the heart out of a victim but why? Such a waste of blood and so much attention. Wait - wasn't there a Nosferatu in Chicago about 60 years ago that liked to kill men that way?
