Props to be used in future events:

  • Cloak of Eternal Night: The velvety black cloak is woven of night itself and protects all who wear it as though under its protection.
System: A vampire who wears this cloak and remains covered by it, can not be harmed by the sun's rays even if exposed to them directly. They are able to operate as though it were actually night and so they do not suffer the usual penalties of being awake during daylight hours. Essentially, the cloak provides protection from the sun and only the sun. The first five points of damage inflicted by the sun are absorbed by the cloak.
Drawback: The cloak, being made of darkness, can take damage. Once the five levels of sun damage are absorbed, the cloak will appear dried, tattered and shriveled. It can not be used again until five blood points are infused (soaked) into the fabric.
  • Fangs of the Serpent: The twin serpentine blades of this oddly-shaped dagger are sharpened to needle-sharp points. Rumored to have been the creation of a cult of Setite sorcerers, it is said that their assassins could steal their victim's blood before killing them.
System:Upon a successful melee attack, the blades would consume 2 points in blood from the target.
Drawback: The blades can only hold two points of blood. For the triggered effect to happen again, the blood within the blades would have to be expelled at the will of the user.
  • Luccia's Ring: The ring of a famous Italian Toreador, it is capped with a beautiful rose quarts stone and silver filigree of two roses interwined. It is said that any who wear her ring can always tell when they are being lied to.
System: A vampire who wears this ring, upon a successful willpower role to 'activate' it, will be able to tell should anyone lie to them directly for the remainder of the scene.
Drawback: The ring is limited to only those lies addressed to the wearer. Should the speaker not be addressing the vampire wearing the ring, no lies will be detected.
  • Malphas' Mask: A silvery mask once worn by a Nosferatu Elder while living in Jersualem during the crusades, the mask is said to possess the ability to allow any who wear it to change their features to resemble another.
System: A vampire must bathe the mask in one blood point of the target they wish to resemble. Once the mask has absorbed the blood and the mask worn, they will appear as that person in every physical way until dawn.
Drawback: The mask's ability does not protect the wearer from the powers of auspex entirely. Should the wearer be viewed with auspex treat them as under the effects as Obfuscation 4: (as an improved form of Mask of a Thousand Faces, Obf3)
  • Bone Chalice: A chalice made from a human skull and fine silver work, the cup is said to allow any who drink blood from its lip to temporarily grow closer to Cain.
System: A vampire drink vitae of a higher generation than their own. The degree to which the vitae is different than their generation is unimportant as it will allow the drinker to take one step closer Cain in generation for the duration of the night in every way (blood pool, potency, etc.)
Drawback: As with all such enchanted items, there is a price for such power. At dawn of the next morning the drinker will effectively lose one point in generation for three successive nights thereafter. Upon the fourth night their blood will regain its potency and they will be otherwise unchanged.
