His family run one of the largest logging companies in America, and he grew up with quiet a bit of money. He's so ashamed of his family that he changed his name from Jonathon Flaherty to Dean Moriarti, a name he took from the novel 'On The Road.' San Francisco His family sent him to a prestigious private school in San Francisco, which is where he went through his Chrysalis. He ended up in service to a Baroness of House Fiona out there. By fifteen he was a member of her Honor Guard, and he proved efficient with his blade. However, his true skill lay in his knowledge of the wild, and he often acted as a scout and a harrier, sabotaging enemies through stealth and guile. The Road his Baroness fell to the Mists, eventually. When that happened he moved back to Portland, and briefly took a job in the office of his family. He left after a few weeks, though, and took to the road. He hiked from Maine to Prospect. He hitched, rode the rails, and wandered the wilderness. It took a few years in all, but he adored every moment, even the rough ones. Winged His previous incarnations have had wings for as far back as the scholars can tell. He has no idea why, as he has few memories of his past lives.
