• Oblivious: Knows nothing about the supernatural, and thus has no agenda regarding them. Vampires can likely feed on him with impunity, fae can muse him, etc.
• Music: More into instruments and technique, rather than all the latest trends, but still a decent sounding board.
• College dropout: Familiar with campus culture, just lacked the right sort of work ethic. Also why you've never heard of his old band (Centerville). Still takes a class at Mesa once every few years.
