• Thieves' Honor - In a world where politicians, cops, judges, and nearly anyone else can be bought, one's word is everything. Dante's word is sacrosanct, and he has a reputation for dealing fairly with other criminal organizations.
• Patron - While Dante's role in the Mexicali cartel is generally known to anyone with a reasonable level of street knowledge in the region, he funnels a significant amount of the organization's profits through charities and civic organizations, generating a significant amount of goodwill from the region's populace. Dante is particularly known as a patron of the arts, supporting galleries and concert halls.
• Legitimate enterprise - Following from the above, the line between the cartel's legal and illegal activities is incredibly murky, and Dante enforces a reasonable amount of subtlety on the organization's behalf. Public displays of force or other overt acts are generally not tolerated given their propensity to attract unwanted attention.
