Crystal was raised within the palatial estate of the Zantosa Revenant family, just outside of the island of Montreal, in Quebec. The Zantosa have homes all across the globe, and she traveled to a few of them, but Montreal was her real home. Revenants age at 1/4 the rate of a human, so she lived a long life. This was a life serving the Zantosa family, and its Tzimisce masters, however. For the most part the family is left to its own devices, which involve levels of hedonism that would make Caligula blush. Crystal was incredibly indulgent in her personal whims.
When she was 72, or physically 18, Eliza Zantosa, a Noddist and Tzimisce, took an interest in the girl. She admired her spirit and will, as well as her dedication to both the family and the Clan. So, she was Embraced in her 72nd birthday, in front of the family as her 'birthday present'. She took to being Tzimisce very well, but found her Sire's stringent, almost ascetic Noddist views to be insanely confining. She couldn't stand them. As the years passed, she joined a pack of Albigensians in the city, and was converted to the Path. She was like a born again Christian, and dedicated every part of her essence to the Path.
This -infuriated- her Sire and her Sire's pack, and they began to go after her, making small strikes against her pack, never -quite- violating the Code of Milan in the process. They were trying to goad her into challenging for Monomacy, but she always resisted. When it came down to it, Crystal was a bit of a coward. She was a natural with Vicissitude, a paragon of her Path...but not someone who sought to fight if she could help it. When she needed to fight, she could, but she always looked for other avenues.
A few years ago several packs joined in a failed siege on the Camarilla city of Toronto, and her Sire used this as an opportunity. She struck against Crystal's pack in the middle of a fight, cutting down her packmates. Crystal barely managed to get away, but spent months healing up fully in the basement of a nightclub. Once she was good, she fled Canada. She began moving across the country, indulging her whims, and surviving on Zantosa funds.
Now she has arrived in Prospect.
