Countess Kelira ni Gwydion (NPC)

This former Countess of Radiant Hope (now known as County of Lion's Reach) left on a voyage into the Deep Dreaming, abandoning her County Seat (the Rhapsody Freehold/Faerie Market) in search of Faerie Immortality. She returned many years later with her army of chimera and her extreme viewpoints even more prominent. While initially she reclaimed the County, her proclamations of madness and ludicrous demands soon had her stripped of her title by the Duke. The title was handed over to Count Leras and Countess Ionae, who is said to have put in her place. This is when she decided to wage war on the Duchy, inhabiting the island of Fort Lodestone. In a mass undertaking, Kithain came together, and managed to capture her without loss of life, handing her over to the Duke to handle. It's unknown what happened to her in the end.

Count Leras and Countess Ionae

Former nobles of Lion's Reach who held the reins of leadership for a few years, rising quickly upon the ladder of nobility. They brought the area together, lead them against Kelira, and saw peace for a while. The couple left Prospect for the Kingdom of Apples during the summer of 2013 to take up the once Eiluned-led Duchy of Ebon Rivers. The move surprised and infuriated many.

Countess Naevys Eloen ni Gwydion, Giant-Slayer of the Battle at Moon's Crossing, Dragon's Hope Peacemaker (NPC).

She is fearless, bold, proud, ferocious in battle. She is a somewhat traditional Gwydion, and yet very Commoner friendly. She deals with all fairly, be they Kithain or Kinain, Noble or Commoner. Unseelie, though, may see her as a bit gruff in manner. She detests Shadow Court. She upholds the Escheat rather strictly - anyone caught breaking it, better beware.

She has fought in countless battles across much of Concordia. She seeks out lies, bringing them to light. She detests the Shadow Court, and the games they play even more than some of her House might dislike those of Unseelie natures.

Upon Dyson and Alala abandoning their duties, She was granted the Title of Countess (though is more the adventuring and protective Knight at heart). She does what needs to be done, both serving the kingdom and House. Between her House command, and her friendship with Duchess Dahlia Rengstorff La Fleur ni Fiona, Naevys has given a Freehold and County to oversee. She has done much to polish the smear to House Gwydion that the late Countess Kelira left behind, from ensuring that Balefires find proper Holders to establishing an actual Kithain College in order to educate new Chrysalids and their Kinain cousins on matters of Fae Arts and Courtly Etiquette. After the murder of her protegee, Gliadrachan ni Gwydion, at Midwinter 2020 she chose the Redcap Baron Ethan Sienna ap Danaan to be her successor to the County. He was to assume his new Title of Count come Imbolc 2021, but took off for parts unknown.

Countess Melyn Silver Tongue ap Eiluned (NPC)

Having served in the court of the County of Lion's Reach for several years, it was a natural fit for the Duke to elevate Melyn into the position of Countess after the disappointment of the previous attempts at succession for the Countess Naevys. Countess Melyn took to it like a duck to water, leading the court with a firm hand. While there has been much upheaval, she has made inroads with most of the Barons and Baroness' of the county. Considering her previous role in the court as the secretary, she runs a tight ship yet is open for new ideas.
