- Ireland. Cieran hasn't been in America long. He was born and raised in Ballymoney, though he did spend the last two years in Boston before moving to Prospect.
- Crime. His family is a big deal when it comes to organized crime. Like many Irish mobs, the Kearneys started as members of the IRA. As the decades passed, however, they moved more and more into crime, until that was all they were about. They have huge influence in the UK, along with several cities in the United States and across the border.
- Turf. The Keaney Syndicate has begun muscling in on territory in the downtown area of the city. They're well funded and merciless, and seem to be building up their numbers, influence and defenses before pushing outward.
- Hiring. Do you have questionable morals, loyalty to your superiors, and a not-too-high Banality? Then the Keaney Syndicate just might be interested in hiring you! Irish blood certainly doesn't hurt, either.
- Fae. Cieran is a Changeling. Specifically, he's a Sidhe of House Fiona, and a proud member of the Unseelie Court. He's a Knight, as well.
