"Nurse Annie" is his professional care-taker that helps him do all the things he can't do himself. She doesn't live with him but comes every day to help him take care of his basic needs like cooking him meals he can heat up in the microwave and bathing. She's also nice enough to do his laundry at home even though it isn't technically part of her job.
