Aylene/Hooks

• Inuit - Aylene is half Inuit, and she was mainly raised by her full-blooded father. She grew up in an Inuit village on the Northern Slope of Alaska. For her first few years she mainly followed the traditional ways of the people, but due to her mixed heritage she was never FULLY accepted.

• Chinese - Her mother was Chinese. While Aylene speaks her mother's language she isn't fully immersed in the culture, and doesn't know as much about it as her father's.

• Wendigo - She's Wendigo Kin. Her Wendigo relatives hated the fact that her father married a non-Native, and she never heard the end of being 'tainted'. It has somewhat colored her view on the Garou.

• Nunnehi - When she was in her early teens she went through her Chrysalis, awakening as one of the Nunnehi. Specifically, she is one of the Inuas, which are animal shamans which often serve as spirit guides for shamans or sorcerers.

• Anchorage - She couldn't take the issues with her family anymore, and at thirteen she moved to Anchorage to be with her mom. She suffered from her Inuas-born allergies to pollutants, but used medical masks to survive. She immersed herself in modern culture to the best of her ability.

• Death - Her mother died from cancer when Aylene was sixteen, and to help cope a Inuas shaman led her into the Umbra to find a totem. She ended up swearing to Granite, which gave her a sense of self and confidence.

• School - Now she's come to Prospect, attending college on their Native Peoples Heritage Scholarship.
