Intro

Before we head to the commentator booth, the scene opens up on Kevin North and wrestling legend; Frank Washington. Standing side-by-side, there’s an aura about the room, one with definite sadness as Kevin begins to speak.

North: “On November 17th at 3:41 in the morning, the wrestling world lost a legend and a pioneer as Lisa “The Glorious One” Robertson passed away at the age of sixty-two.”

Frank now speaks up.

Washington: “She fought a valiant battle against stomach cancer but unfortunately she succumbed to her illness. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Glorious One and this one is for you.”

Instead of the standard LONE video package that plays at the beginning of each show, this one is different as it is nothing but a video package of The Glorious One. After the video ends, the following pops up on the screen.

Lisa “The Glorious One” Robertson
May 12th, 1958 — November 17th, 2020
May you Rest In Peace!

The camera cuts to the ring now, moving away from the pop up on the screen to show that same picture on the titantron and many of the LONE Roster standing on stage. Johnny Baxter is in the center of the ring with a microphone in hand.

Baxter: And now, we ask everyone in attendance to please rise... for a moment of silence and a 10 bell salute... to celebrate the life of "The Glorious One" Lisa Robertson.

Baxter lowers the mic and bows his head as the camera cuts to the stage.

Everyone on the roster is standing on stage, with the champions in front. Everyone is wearing a black t-shirt, in honor of The Glorious One.

DING........!

Terri Thompson and Alison Crowne, the Tag Team Champions, are shown. Terri and Alison have their heads bowed, and Terri takes a moment to wipe tears from her face. Qent is shown next, the LONE Champion, standing next to Lexi Pryce who has a hand on her shoulder.

DING........!

The team known as Spice & Ice; Queen Cinnamon and Violent Violet, are standing together. Cinnamon is crying softly, and Violet has an arm around her shoulders.

DING........!

Sister Catherine and Stitches, the team known as The Damned, are shown next. Stitches looks like she's trying not to cry, and Sister Catherine has her head bowed with the hood of her nun habit over her head.

DING........!

Hannah Kix is shown, standing next to her french translator. Hannah had the hood of her boxing/mma robe pulled over her head. She just... stares in silence.

DING........!

Rook is shown next, those orange and indestructible glasses mostly concealing her eyes. Her head is bowed. Her former tag partner in "Hurricane" Katrina Matthers is standing next to her.

DING........!

The Juggalettes are shown next, with their face paint on, heads lowered and arms around each others' shoulders.

DING........!

Amy and Anna Stadtfeld, the identical twin tag team are standing together with their heads lowered, crying and one of them wipes tears from her eyes.

DING........!

Ashley Lopez is shown next, hands low and holding onto her left hand's wrist while her eyes just stare forward at the ring. Her eyes look red and misty.

DING........!

And finally, the first LONE Tag Team Champions are shown; No Fly Zone: "Fly" Felicia Hawkins and Kayoko "Yo-yo Yoko" Ichikawa are shown. Felicia looks like she's having a really hard time holding it together, trembling as tears stream down her face. Kayoko has her arm around her and is looking at her best friend with much concern.

DING........!

Some fans might've known, but after what happened... everyone realizes now that Felicia Hawkins is actually the daughter of Mark and Lisa Robertson. Kayoko has her left arm around Felicia's shoulders, squeezing her tight and after the salute, Felicia just buries her face against Kayoko, sobbing uncontrollably.

The camera cuts to Baxter now.

Baxter: Thank you... And thank you, "The Glorious One" Lisa Robertson.....

Crowd: THANK-YOU-LI-SA! *CLAP! CLAP! CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!* THANK-YOU-LI-SA! *CLAP! CLAP! CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!* THANK-YOU-LI-SA! *CLAP! CLAP! CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!* THANK-YOU-LI-SA! *CLAP! CLAP! CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!*

The crowd soon dies down as we're shown one last look at everyone on stage and the memorial shot on the titantron above.

With a very quiet and somber sound, it’s not as crazy and chaotic as it normally is due to the recent passing of Lisa “The Glorious One” Robertson. Sitting at the booth tonight is Drew Stevenson, Frank Washington and Mark Robertson.

All three men look like they have had a very rough couple of nights but by far, Mark Robertson shows the worst signs. His eyes are red, puffy, and you can tell that he has been crying but he is doing his absolute best to keep his emotions in check.

Stevenson: “Hello everyone and welcome to LONE #41: Glory For It all. Unfortunately we are here tonight with some very sad news, as everybody has already heard, Lisa Robertson, better known to all of you as The Glorious One recently passed away and…”

Taking a moment to keep his emotions in check as well, Frank immediately begins to speak to help cover for his good friends.

Washington: “We are here to honor her life which is what she deserves. All we can say right now from the bottom of our hearts is that we are so incredibly sorry for your loss Mark, no words can express how we truly feel.”

Lowering his head and looking incredibly heartfelt, genuine, and heartbroken, Frank says nothing further as Mark, husband of Lisa begins to speak up and already; he is choked up.

Mark: “First off, thank you guys for all of the love and support over the last couple of days, it really means a lot. You know, you can’t prepare for something like this. It hit so fast and so suddenly that nobody had the opportunity to say goodbye, to really give her a proper goodbye and…”

As expected, Mark suddenly breaks down into tears as his best friend, Drew Stevenson reaches over and holds his shoulder to give him support.

Mark: “I just want all of you to know that she loved you guys very much. When you guys would boo her? It made her day because she knew that she was giving you guys the best performance that she could and let me tell you, she ate, slept, and breathed this business so when she finally decided to step away — it was really hard for her to do so.”

Giving Mark all the time he needs, both Frank and Drew continue showing their love and support for him in his time of need.

Mark: “But from the bottom of my heart, thank you guys because you gave my wife something very special and that is something that I can never repay you guys.”

Reaching up and wiping away some of his tears, everyone takes a moment to take in a much needed deep breath. Trying to prevent any dead air, Stevenson begins to speak again.

Stevenson: “You know, it’s not very often when someone stays in the business as long as The Glorious One did. Let me tell you man, she knew how to work a crowd But one of the most special things about her is how she will ALWAYS give advice to anybody who sought after it. At the end of the day? All she wanted was for the business to be better than the way she left it and I don’t think I will ever be as giving as she was, but I do know that if I am even half the person she is then I will be truly blessed.”

Swallowing hard, he can’t fight his emotions anymore as even Stevenson himself begins to cry.

Stevenson: “All I can ever say is thank you, thank you for being there when I needed you, thank you for being there when WE needed you and you will be SORELY missed Glorious One. There will never be another one like you!”

Immediately picking up from where Stevenson left off, Frank is very quick with his words as he knows exactly what he wants to say.

Washington: “When you think of Pioneers, one of the first people that you think about regarding this business is The Glorious One. She paved the road for all of us to be here and she revolutionized this business so we can do things and set trends that we probably would have never been able to accomplish if it weren’t for her. From all of us here at the Prospect Wrestling Network, thank you Glorious One!”

With all three men lowering their heads in sadness, we immediately begin seeing a beautiful package showing The Glorious One in the ring.

The Glorious One Vs “Lucky” Lucy Lassiter

The Glorious One Vs “Lucky” Lucy Lassiter
September 14th, 1976
Lone Star Grappling Arts
Houston, Texas

Standing in the ring after both women made quite an entrance, The Glorious One is making her professional wrestling debut against “Lucky” Lucy Lassiter.

Ace: “These women here tonight are going to revolutionize the wrestling business someday. We have the debuting Glorious One against “Lucky” Lucy Lassiter and this one should be one for the books.”

Starting things off in a very old-school fashion, they embrace in a collar and elbow tie up as Lucy quickly applies a headlock onto Glorious One. Catching Lucy by surprise however, The Glorious One hoists Lucy into the air hitting a backdrop and bridging it into a pinfall attempt.

One…

Two…

Pressing her shoulder off of the canvas, Lucy is quick to strike The Glorious One across the chest with a very hard chop as it echoes throughout the arena.

Ace: “What a kick out by the veteran and then immediately, she takes it right to The Glorious One with a very hard knife edge chop.”

5:35 into the match…

After some old school textbook wrestling, both women are at a stalemate which has impressed everybody since this is the wrestling debut of The Glorious One. Having gained some traction against the veteran, The Glorious One yanks Lucy up by her hair and puts her back down with a vicious scoop slam.

Ace: “The Glorious One working on that back which is to set up for her big finishing maneuver, the Spotlight Backbreaker.”

After putting Lucy down with a vicious scoop slam, The Glorious One rolls her over onto her stomach and immediately applies a modified chin lock which really torques those back muscles.

Ace: “The Glorious One may be new here tonight but it’s obvious that she has done her homework and knows how to weaken that back before trying to put Lucy away with the Spotlight Backbreaker.”

8:15 into the match…

After having worked on that back for a while, Lucy has been able to fight out of every attempt that The Glorious One has attempted at trying to put her away with that Spotlight Backbreaker. Having gained some major traction back after tossing The Glorious One off of the top rope, it’s obvious that Lucy is really hurting right now as she continuously holds her lower back after every move that she pulls off on The Glorious One.

Ace: “Lucy is really hurting right now and you can definitely tell. She is not able to hide her injury, it is definitely getting the best of her right now but she is a fighter and if she lives up to her lucky name then she should live to see another day in the ring.”

9:05 into the match…

Cutting her momentum off very quickly, The Glorious One changed the tide of this match when Lucy decided to take a big risk and go up top. When she jumped off looking for a big splash, The Glorious One caught her in mid-air showing great strength as she brought her down with the Spotlight Backbreaker.

Ace: “What strength by The Glorious One and this one looks like it could be over for “Lucky” Lucy Lassiter who wasn’t so lucky tonight.”

Hooking the leg, the referee drops down to make the count as Lucy isn’t moving.

One…

Two…

THREE!!!

Hearing the bell ring, The Glorious One gets off of Lucy and has her hand raised in victory immediately. Lying down on the canvas while clutching her lower back, Lucy knows that she has been defeated here tonight.

Shawna: “Here is your winner, THE GLOOOORIOUS ONNNNEEE!”

Ace: “Tonight was an impressive showing for The Glorious One and if she keeps this up then she could be something very special here in the future.”

Terri Thompson Interview

The camera changes to a spot in the backstage area; A gray wall with an empty black steel chair set up to sit down in. Terri Thompson comes in from the left side of the screen, LONE Tag Team championship around her waist. She sits down in the chair and stares directly into the camera. Her eyes are red and misty, like she had been crying earlier.

She's wearing her usual ring gear, however, she has on a black t-shirt with an image of The Glorious One in black and white, and it says In Loving Memory of Lisa "The Glorious One" Robertson; the t-shirt that everyone was wearing during the 10 bell salute. She has in her right hand a rose made from Origami that she spins a little bit between her fingers, eyes cast down on that for a moment before looking back into the camera's lens.

Terri: Life... man, I...

Terri starts tripping over her own words right out the gate. She knows what she wants to say, but her thoughts on what to say are causing her to choke up already. Her lips tremble, eyes starting to well up. Her voice cracks.

Terri: We take life for granted, man. A lot of us do. Life hits us, life moves by so fast. Life... they say it's what happens when you're busy making other plans. I know it. I know it all too well. I've seen it and I've experienced it many times. And even though I know... it still surprises me.

Terri takes a moment to look down at the origami rose, and when she does so, tears fall from her face and stain it as she spins it between her fingers.

Terri: ... Someone whipped this up for me from a napkin, because they noticed I was feeling bad. I... I told them I would keep it, color it and cherish it. They said they could make me a better one and while I said that's cool I... I still went with this one because it's... it's the thought that counts and that's what I... that's what I've been thinking about since her passing. I--- L-let me tell you a story about the Glorious One.

Terri takes a moment to breathe in deep, then exhales, relaxing herself.

Terri: It was sometime during... LONE 6... when The Glorious One gave me a thumb to my left eye and split it open. After the match, Lisa... Lisa came up to me and apologized to me for the eye. I told her it was all right, and we had a talk about it. People see The Glorious One as this dastardly woman but... but Lisa, Lisa was different. She was so kind, so caring. She was like... the Locker Room Mama, y'know? She was like the Locker Room Mama and...

Terri takes a moment to wipe tears from her eyes with the thumb of her left hand. She shivers, voice cracking again.

Terri: And she was... she was always there to listen, and to offer advice. She didn't big league anyone. There... There's a hole in our business with her passing and I don't know if it'll ever be filled. It can't be.

Terri leans forward, and with her left hand pulls on her left eye's eyelid.

Terri: See it? There's a little mark there. Probably a bit hard to see, but it's paler than my pale ass...

Terri sometimes... injects humor into serious moments. She leans back now.

Terri: When you told me you were sorry for cutting my eye... I said it's all right but what I should've said was..... thank you. Thank you, Lisa, because you've given me something to always remember you by. You've left your mark on me, literally and figuratively.

Terri holds up the origami rose now towards the camera.

Terri: But I didn't know... I... life hit me. When I got the call that she passed I was... hurt, sad... angry. I was so angry that she was taken from us. But I started thinking... celebrate her life, not her last moments.

Terri lowers the rose, staring into the camera to... stare into the eyes of everyone viewing this.

Terri: If you had an argument with family over thanksgiving... if you had an argument with your friend. Try to... Try to patch things up if you can... because you never know if that argument will be your last moment with them. And if it is... think about all the good they've done in life and all the good moments you've had. If you haven't talked to anyone close to you in a while, reach out to them. Say hello, see how they're doing. It'll mean more to them than you know. Tell them... Tell them you love them. You're not soft... You're not weak if you use the words 'I love you.' You're actually a lot stronger than you realize. Tell them you love them..... because it's the thought that counts.

Terri then makes a sign of the cross with her left hand, then kisses her fore and middle fingers of it before raising them up into the air and looking upward.

Terri: I love you, Lisa.

Terri's face and voice trembles.

Terri: ... And thank you for everything...!

Terri stands up now, moving to set the origami rose onto the chair. The camera zooms in on it as she steps away and the scene fades out.

The Glorious One vs. Terri Thompson

The Glorious One vs. Terri Thompson
LONE 6
November 24, 2017
Portland, Maine

Glorious One is in the corner trying to catch her breath as Robertson is strategizing with her up on the apron. Glorious One having just finished a match with Sister Catherine and getting a shot at the champion "Gutter Trash" Terri Thompson right away!

"Hello From the Gutter" by Overkill starts up a few moments after the last match ends. Terri steps through the curtain and onto the stage, wearing the same gear as earlier tonight and hoisting the LONE championship high in the air. She races down the aisle, leaning her back against the barricade. The fans pat her and she runs to a one part of ringside to lean against the barricade again.

North: Well, Glorious One just stole one but she's going immediately back into the fire because here comes Gutter Trash Terri Thompson. She's already got one successful defense under her belt tonight against Ms. Gucci, can she go 2-for-2?

DIC: This is outrageous! Come on, what is Jack E. Bux doing? He's making Glorious One compete immediately without a 5 minute rest period? How is this fair? A bit passive aggressive of Bux don't you think?

North: She's lucky to have this match to begin with and it's only with Robertson brown nosing his old friend that she's even getting it tonight or at all!

DIC: She earned the right! It's ridiculous that she basically has to earn it twice and then be in an exhausted condition after. She's not 100%, this isn't fair!

The referee attempts to start the match but Robertson intervenes by stepping into the ring arguing with the ref, pleading that his client isn't ready to start the match. They both go back and forth with Robertson arguing there should be a 3-5 minute rest period to ensure as fair a match as possible, the official argues, perhaps rightfully if not unfairly that the match is mandated to start immediately. Terri Thompson isn't willing to wait however as she marches towards her opponent who is looking to get out of town ASAP as she walks with a bit of notable exhaustion in her step. Glorious One meets her, eager to make the most of this golden opportunity as they begin trading slugs in the middle of the ring. Robertson steadily grows concerned as it appears his stall tactic was backfiring in his face but he nonetheless places faith in his client and continues to please his case as Terri Thompson steadily begins to eclipse the challenger having the advantage of being fresher. Just when it looked like there could be an early blowout Glorious One reaches deep into her bag of tricks...

CLAP!

The Champion is suddenly disoriented as Glorious One connects with a pair of open palm strikes to the ears of Terri Thompson! The Champion staggers as she does it again...

CLAP!

North: That's the Ear Smack frequently preached by Bruce Lee as a self-defense technique. Usually this kind of move is outlawed in competition by some athletic commissions due to the serious damage it can do to a person's equilibrium and sense of balance. Not to mention it's painful. I'm no expert but I'd be concerned about hearing loss too. Ultimately it's a grey area in professional wrestling as far as legality goes.

DIC: It's brilliant is what it is. Glorious One is looking to take out that week-old tuna sandwich and do us all a favor and if she has to sacrifice herself so that we may be trash free? I'll take it and remember her heroic act of bravery.

Robertson grins like a Cheshire cat as his client managed to turn a bad situation into a positive. Just for Good measure Glorious One jabs a thumb into Terri's eye, causing her already shaky balance to send her stumbling to the mat. Glorious One then walks back to her corner, feigning ignorance as the official then goes to check on Terri.

Robertson: If she can't compete she forfeits the match and the title! You said the match has to start immediately! Those were your instructions! Do your job!

Something unexpected happened from the thumb to the eye, it appears as if Glorious One's nail grazed her right above the eye and slice it right open. Blood begins to run down the side of her face as the referee appears to be ready to throw this match out on a forfeit. This generates an immense amount of heat from the crowd, near nuclear as the fans are just letting Robertson's corner have it in the forms of verbal abuse. Robertson merely taps the side of his head several times with a smug grin as Glorious One rests against the ropes in her corner awaiting a coronation.

DIC: And this is why Mark Robertson is the absolute best manager in this business! He bought his client the time she needed to turn a severe disadvantage into one of supreme advantage and an area of strength. Fact, every single wrestler he's managed has gone on to win championships during his tenure. He's got a spotless record. How this man isn't in more of hall of fames is ridiculous. This man has a beautiful and brilliant mind that comes along once every several generations! He's my George Washington on the Mount Rushmore of Professional Wrestling; period.

North: Get. A. Room. My thoughts on his tactics aside the record would point to him having a litany of accomplishments and accolades as a manager. But enough is enough. Shut up.

Baxter and the official have a conversation as Baxter then requests the championship from ringside. A medical team comes running out from the back as the crowd continues to turn up the heat with boos before Baxter begins to make his announcement.

North: It looks like this one is over before it began, what a grave injustice.

Baxter: I have been informed that as a result of a prior injury suffered earlier in the night...

North: BULLSHIT! This is bullshit! How can you expect someone to defend their champioship when you jump them right before the match with the official's back turned? I know he's only looking out for her well being, that's fine. That's commendable. But don't reward this behavior with the championship. Jack E. Bux or somebody has to step in and stop this. Do your job Stevenson, do your job or expect a lawsuit. Investor my ass!

Baxter: That Terri Thompson has been ruled by referee's decision to be in no physical condition to compete! Therefore the winner of this match... and the NEW Ladies of New England Champion... by way of forfei-

The crowd suddenly grows silent as Terri Thompson shoved the medical team away and stumbled forward. Baxter hesitates and doesn't resist as Terri grabbed his hand and moved the mic.

Terri Thompson: Nu-uh. I sacrificed too much for it to end like this. I'm a fighting champion...

The official and Terri have a brief conversation just low enough to not register on the sound system. The referee seems a be a bit agitated and concerned at the same time but The Champion, as she still currently was, wasn't going to have any of it as she acted without hesitating.

Terri Thompson: Ring the damn bell.

Perhaps trying to impede or delay any further action she quickly tossed microphone outside of the ring. Essentially forcing his hand the timekeeper rings the bell for the official start of the match.

DIC: Competing in that kind of state...

DIC seems to trail off uncharacteristically as he sees the champion looks like an uncoordinated bloody mess but still willing to fight regardless.

DIC: That takes some real guts I have to admit. I don't know how someone can prepare for something like this. You don't expect to get gashed open before the bell off of something like that; it doesn't happen. And she still wants to fight; wow. Unbelievable.

Just when it looked like DIC might finally turn over a new leaf and finally give Terri the respect she was due he opened his mouth again.

DIC: But guts don't retain championships and it sure as hell doesn't lead a long career! Just go home and quit before you become a welfare bum like the rest if your backwater family! Once trash, always trash! A little bit of blood ain't going to cover up that ugly truth!

North: Have some compassion. A little closer and she could've legitimately had her eye gouged out!

DIC: Sucks to suck, Kevy boy. DIC ain't into hobo pirates.

The Champion and Glorious One engage in the collar and elbow tie up, notably the blood flow hadn't completely stopped yet from just above her eye. Glorious One appears to have the leverage over her as Terri still appears to be slightly disoriented and she twists her arm into a hammerlock behind her back. Perhaps bathing a little in overconfidence Glorious One with her free hand taunts her opponent by slapping Terri's ear several times, implying that she could ring her bell at any time but all this does is fire the Champion up. Terri slips out of the hold and unleashes a flurry of punches, knife edge chops and even several headbutts for good measure as the color begins to rush out of Robertson's face. Glorious One quickly loses her swagger and ducks under the bottom rope to call for a clean break but Terri Thompson uncharacteristically ignores the official's orders but for a very good reason in this case; nearly being screwed out of her title without a match seemed to have galvanized her resolve and push forward. The official nearly calls for a disqualification but hesitates to say 5, as he tries one last attempt to talk her out of the corner barrage and exercising his discretion as an official. Terri finally backs off as the crowd is definitely fired up now with their Champion as Robertson and Glorious One exchanged worried glances that thus far hadn't been seen, like their plan was going completely off the rails into uncharted territory.

DIC: There goes Trashy Terri trying to take the easy way out. After Glorious One busted her ass and jump through hoops that honestly, she didn't have to, to earn a shot again she already had she now has to deal with a rule breaking punk that wants to use the old champion's advantage to retain via DQ. This is your hero, Kev? Is this the hero of Portland, the local kid that achieved the girlhood dream? What a fraud.

North: This isn't just about the championship anymore DIC, it's about respect. Championships come and go but at the end the day you'll always have your reputation, for better or worse. A good reputation is hard to earn and even harder to keep and the same can be said for respect. Right now neither woman has an ounce of respect for the other and that's a problem in their minds; they want to beat it into the other in any way possible. A lot of people would've reacted the same way to a cheap shot like that; trying to blind her and remove her sight! Don't you try this holier than thou routine with me you rich punk. A may be a 'pencil pusher' but we're not at the Cornelius estate, and there's a lot of pissed off ladies in the back that would kill to get a piece of you.

DIC: You better watch your tone, Kevin.

Glorious One sees Terri coming after her again and she quickly dips out of the ring, causing Terri to follow in hot pursuit. They race around the ring as the official is very lenient with his authority to count, choosing to let this play out within reason. Out of desperation Glorious One ducks behind Robertson, using him as a shield as Terri Thompson has to hold herself back.

Robertson: DO IT, KID! COME ON, HIT ME! HIT ME AND I'LL USE YOUR CONTRACT AS A COASTER! DO IT!

DIC: DO IT! I agree! Test that no contact clause and see what happens. Do it and lose your job Gutter Trash, maybe Kev here can join you in line! Just one finger would be enough to do it.

North: What a coward's shield. Normally I'm in agreement that talent shouldn't lay their hands on non-wrestlers but that shouldn't be a shield when you provoke someone.

Terri struggles as she balls up her fist, bringing it up like she wants to swing; but she can't. Robertson would win and get exactly what he wants, and that's the title off her and around his client's waist. Reluctantly she lowers her fist as Glorious One slowly backs off and slinks her way back into the ring.

Robertson: Smart.

The camera cuts to Glorious One, continuing her move and baseball slides to the outside of the ring, taking advantage of Robertson's distraction as Terri goes colliding straight into the steel crowd barricade.

DIC: Glorious One is safe! Gutter Trash, out!

North: I honestly don't know how Terri Thompson can keep getting up at this point. She's lost an alarming amount of blood already. The longer this goes the worse it'll get.

Glorious One is quick to scoop her opponent up off the floor by her hair and slides her back into the ring, her blood steadily coating the canvas as the cut is beginning to swell now. Having no sense of honor or concern for her opponent she begins to use the edge of her boot to target the cut, attacking it repeatedly like a shark to the point that the referee steps between them as they have a brief verbal exchange. The official kneels, trying to avoid getting blood on his uniform which at this spot of the ring was nearly impossible as he tried to assess her capacity to defend herself and whether he should call the match anyway on medical grounds. Terri pulls herself up by the ropes as some of her hair had turned purple as the dye and color blended together like one would expect from a Ric Flair blade job. She shook her head at the thought of forfeiting now and with her one eye that still had full range of site locked onto Glorious One as she strutted over with a desperate superkick! Down goes Glorious One in her own vanity, down goes Terri Thompson with a warrior's spirit! Both women are down, and neither one are moving very much.

North: SUPERKICK! Terri Thompson has made that a staple of her offense over the last few months but it took everything she had left to connect. Glorious One is on dream street after that.

DIC: Well Gutterball isn't any better off herself.

North: Well in the event of a double knockout Terri Thompson will remain your LONE Champion. The title cannot change hands as a result of a countout, disqualification, or a draw such as in the event neither woman can answer a referee's 10 count. If Terri Thompson is going down she's determined to take Glorious One down with her!

1!

2!

3!

4!

5!

No movement. Glorious One is out cold and Terri Thompson may or may not be out as well but both women were spent at this point wrestling their second match of the night.

North: The official might as well skip the rest and just call this one; for the sake of both their health. This is just too grueling.

6!

7!

8!

North: I don't see this changing, no movement at all. The knockout is just academic at this point.

DIC: I hate to agree with you but I think you're right. Don't get used to it.

9!

TE-

Terri Thompson seems to be aware enough of the count and seeing her proximity to Glorious One manages to peel her body off the mat long enough to lunge forward and drape an arm on her opponent to break the 10 count! The referee is in utter shock and hesitates for half a second before dropping down to now count the pin.

1!

2!

THRE/KICKOUT! Glorious One somehow managed to throw her shoulder off the mat out of pure instinct as Mark Robertson aged about 15 years before exhaling a sigh of relief.

The crowd is in disbelief, Terri Thompson is in disbelief! With a crimson mask on her face she sits up holding up three fingers looking for her belt and the bell to ring but is only met with two fingers from the ref! She put everything into that superkick and if it wasn't for her pride she would've retained via a double knockout, but she wanted closure; she wanted zero excuses. She didn't want to be the kind of champion that got away on technicalities. With her thumb she runs a quick slash over her throat as she's indicating she's going for the kill which causes the crowd to roar in a rowdy anticipation as Robertson is now visibly sweating. Terri gets to her feet and grabs Glorious One by her hair, as she looks up, practically begging to not get hit anymore, pleading on her knees as she's being forced up. She looks over at Robertson and catching onto her nonverbal cue Robertson hops up on the apron and tries to enter the ring, as the ref is quick to block his entry. The Champion however is undeterred as she scoops her up after pointing to the back, looking to pay tribute to her friend as she looks to scoop her opponent up for a sit-down tombstone piledriver but Glorious One had one final trick up her sleeve and out of desperation hooks her index and middle fingers right up Terri's nostrils for the fishhook! Terri immediately loses her grip, Glorious One with the hook manages to land right behind her as the Champion was forced leaning backward into her. With supreme leverage Glorious One swiftly removed her fingers and hit the Spotlight backbreaker and hooked both legs for the cover quickly to conceal her misdeed. Robertson shouts at the ref to turn around and count and he does so.

1!

North: Dammit, NO!

2!

North: NOT THIS WAY, DAMMIT! NOT THIS WAY!

3!

Baxter: Here is your winner and the NEW LADIES OF NEW ENGLAND CHAMPION... THE GLORIOUS ONE!

The fans boo heavily. The Glorious One cut corners yet again, and this time has come away with the LONE Championship! Taking the belt away from their fighting champion, who already defended the title once tonight and bled for their entertainment.

DIC: YES! THIS IS VINDICATION! IT'S TIME TO EAT YOUR CROW WITH A SLICE OF HUMBLE PIE, BAYBAY! THE GLORIOUS ONE HAS MADE HER DREAM COME TRUE, SHE'S ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN AGAIN! FOR MY STUNNED COLLEAGUE AND THE SHOCKED MOUTHBREATHERS IN ATTENDENCE, THIS IS YA BOI DIC REMINDING YOU THAT THIS HAS BEEN A MARK ROBERTSON MASTERPIECE, A GLORIOUS PRODUCTION! GOOD NIGHT AND SUCK IT!

DIC flips his headset off in celebration as he jogs down the aisle clapping as Robertson snatches the championship from ringside and places it around Glorious One's waist.

DIC enters the ring and shakes Robertson and Glorious One's hands as Robertson and DIC raise her arms high in the air over the now ex-champion. DIC reaches into his jacket and pulls out a miniature 'Participation Trophy' and places it next to Terri Thompson. The live feed slowly fades out as trash is being tossed into the ring by the audience.

Spice & Ice Interview

Queen Cinnamon & Violent Violet, the tag team known as Spice & Ice, are standing in front of the gray wall Terri was at earlier. Violet has her head lowered, while Cinnamon is wiping tears from her own eyes and sniffling. Cinnamon has her tiara on her head.

Cinnamon: Lisa... A lot of what is said about Lisa tonight is going to be repeated because it's true. It's all true. Lisa helped everyone. She helped everyone she could. She was a guiding light in this industry. She gave me advice, showed us the ropes when she could. I... spent so many hours listening to her and her stories about the business. I'm gonna miss the times we had together.

Cinnamon takes a moment to take off her tiara.

Cinnamon: I know that I'm Queen Cinnamon but Lisa... Lisa you're a Goddess! May you rest in peace.

Cinnamon holds up her Tiara, looking up at the ceiling as the camera fades out.

Ami Reeves vs. The Glorious One

Ami Reeves vs. The Glorious One w/Mark Robertson
LONE 4
September 29th, 2017

Opening up to the sound of some beautiful symphony, from behind the curtain steps Ami Reeves wearing a green “Legend of Zelda” shirt. Realizing that her theme just so happens to be the main theme from Zelda, she smiles at all of these fans while touching hands with them as she walks down to the ring.

Baxter: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, she is... AMI REEEEVEEESSS!

Quickly sliding into the ring, she pretends to swing around an imaginary sword as all of these fans in attendance absolutely love her which puts a large smile on her face.

North: This woman is very talented but the question we all have to ask ourselves is this, does she have it in her to be the first person to beat The Glorious One?

DIC: No and not because she’s not talented or anything but simply because there’s a reason why The Glorious One has the legendary, Mark Robertson in her corner. She has been the best all around the globe and I have a pretty good feeling this time is going to be no different.

North: I have a feeling that you could be right.

As Ami rolls her shoulders and everything, the lights dim as the very peaceful tone of “Hotel California” by the Eagles begins to play as the curtain parts to the side and stepping out first just so happens to be the man himself, the legendary, Mark Robertson who is dressed in a very expensive suit and motions behind him as the lovely Glorious One steps out dressed in a very expensive robe with rhinestone diamonds littered all over it.

Baxter: And her opponent, hailing from Hollywood, California and managed by the legendary; Mark Robertson, she is... THE GLORRRIIOUSSS ONNNNNNNEEEEE!

Making their way down the ramp, Robertson walks up the steps first and sits on the top rope while pushing the top rope up so that Glorious One can enter the ring with ease. As both participants have entered the ring, Robertson has this really arrogant smile expressed on his face as he points to his client who stretches her arms out, as arrogant as ever.

DIC: There she is, the Glorious One, the most dominating woman in our business today and might I add, she is also undefeated here in LONE.

North: There is no denying what this woman has done for the business today. If there’s ever a time where Reeves has her work cut out for her, it’s now and especially with Robertson in the Glorious One’s corner.

Taking off her robe and handing it to Robertson, he exits the ring as the referee signals for the bell and both women step out to the center of the ring beginning to feel one another out. Embracing in a collar and elbow tie-up, Ami uses her speed advantage and manages to get in behind Glorious One. Dropping down to her knees, she grabs the feet of the veteran and trips her down to her stomach where she immediately applies a seated headlock showing that she can hang with the veteran. Reaching out for the bottom rope, the Glorious One manages to grab it as Ami is forced to release the hold which is fine by her since she was simply trying to make a point.

North: Ami showing that she can hang with the wrestling veteran.

DIC: But the question is, for how long? It’s not really a secret that she is much younger and faster, but as we both know, the longer this match goes on? The harder it is going to be for Miss. Reeves.

North: No arguing with you there.

As both women are back to their feet, they embrace again but this time, the Glorious One hits a quick knee to the midsection of Ami, doubling her over and then picks her up and puts her down onto the canvas with a very stiff scoop slam. Arching her back in pain, the veteran turns the rookie over and applies a modified chinlock where her knee is digging into the spine of Ami.

North: Ami is going to have to be very smart here because you don’t want to mess with the Glorious One; she is very dangerous when it comes to the human body and she knows how to tear it apart.

DIC: That she does and I think that is going to be the biggest problem for Reeves who has very little experience when it comes to this business.

Keeping Reeves on her stomach, the veteran quickly leaps into the air and drives her knee into the spine of the younger woman which again, causes Ami to scream out in a lot of pain.

DIC: This is very smart on behalf of Glorious One because she is wearing down that lower back for later on when she decides she wants to end this thing.

North: There’s no doubt about that whatsoever. This woman knows what she wants and if we have learned anything from watching her, it’s that she gets it and at any cost.

Yanking Ami up to her feet, the veteran Irish whips her to the ropes and as she comes back, she looks for a tilt a whirl back slam but the younger woman manages to grab the Glorious One with a headscissors which takes her off guard and completely shifts the momentum of this match.

North: WOW and just like that, Reeves is already back in this thing.

As Glorious One is already back to her feet, she is met with a flurry of punches and kicks which all she can do is cover up as the young woman is back in charge and has the veteran reeling.

North: There’s that Muay Thai background shining through and look at Robertson, he looks nervous.

Being rocked back into the turnbuckle, Ami hits a really stiff kick to the Glorious One’s forearm as she falls to the seated position and holds her arm in pain. Quickly hopping up onto the apron, Robertson yells at the referee about the kick as the referee walks over there and tells Robertson to get down off of the apron and much to his surprise, he listens and does just that which gives Glorious One enough time to regain her composure and get up slowly.

North: The Glorious One might be hurt here, that kick was NASTY!

DIC: It was a nasty kick but I don’t think she’s out of this one just yet.

Using the top rope to walk her way to the next turnbuckle, she receives another stiff kick to the midsection which causes her to lose her breath and of course; causes Robertson to scream out again which distracts the referee momentarily. Looking to hit another flurry of stiff punches and kicks again, the Glorious One sees that the referee isn’t looking and so she is quick to rake the eyes which completely turns the tables and puts her back into control. Hitting a forearm right into the lower back of Ami, this causes her to arch her back in pain and stumble as the Glorious One leaps high enough to drive a knee right into her spine. Striking the turnbuckle chest first and stumbling out backwards, the Glorious One grabs Ami and drops her over her knee with the Spotlight.

DIC: THE SPOTLIGHT! THE SPOTLIGHT!

North: This one could be over.

Lying on top of Ami, the referee drops down to make the count.

One...

Two...

THREE!!!

Slowly getting to her feet, Robertson quickly enters the ring and raises Glorious One’s hand into the air with a huge smile expressed on his face.

Debauchee, Olga, Gucci Gals Interview

Opening up in the backstage area, we see Frank Debauchee, Olga, and the Gucci Gals standing in a small huddle. Prada Paula is crying to the point where she is sobbing and everyone else looks very saddened by the recent news that The Glorious One passed away.

Debauchee: “On November 17th, the world lost a woman who knew how to transcend the business. I remember watching her as a kid and there were times when you thought she was going to get mauled by the fans, that’s how much she was hated. When you got to know her however, that’s when you learned just how much of an amazing person that she is. She was one of the most kind, caring, and passionate people about this business that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. This business lost a true legend and to the Robertson family, you have our condolences.”

Wiping the tears from her eyes, Ms. Gucci decides to say a few things as well.

Gucci: “To see a woman hold so much power in what was called a man’s world was truly inspiring. Back then, it was very rare when you saw women transcending the business because everyone expected for it to be the man. But when The Glorious One would come out in those fancy robes, with all of that gold, it was so mesmerizing to see a powerful woman taking control of a man’s world. It is so sad to see you go but thank you for always looking out for us and thank you for paving the way for us to continue your legacy.”

Placing her hands up to her lips, she blows a kiss at The Glorious One and then starts crying harder. With Prada Paula crying too much to give her thoughts, we slowly fade out and then back to the same backstage area, but with Rook seated on a steel chair.

Rook Interview

Rook: Not many people know this. Hell it... it was told to me recently. But our last match in New England before we moved out here... It was me vs. The Glorious One in the final first round match of the Queen of the Castle tournament. The Glorious One... man, she was one tough broad. Heh.

Rook gives the camera a sad smile, then takes off her glasses.

Rook: She showed me a lot. I've picked up things from her and she always gave her ear to listen and would critique my matches when I would ask. She even gave me the idea for these.

Rook holds up her orange, indestructible glasses that she wears during her matches.

Rook: Because I told her how much I liked hers a lot. Lisa... your... Your last match ever was with me and it is a HUGE honor... and you went out like a true Legend.

Rook starts to cry now, head lowering.

Rook: Thank you!... Thank you, Lisa. Rest in Power.

The camera fades.

Rook vs. The Glorious One

Rook vs. The Glorious One
LONE 35
May 29th, 2020

Baxter: The following contest... is the final match of the first round of the Queen of the Castle Tournament! Introducing first...

Kernkraft 400's "Zombie Nation (Original Version)" starts up. Rook steps out from behind the curtain, standing on stage and lowering her glasses some as she looks out over the crowd. She takes a few steps before taking her glasses off and tossing them out towards whichever lucky fan will catch them, before retrieving another pair and sliding them on.

Baxter: From Deer Lodge County, Montana! ROOOOOOOOOOK!

She hops up onto the apron, taking a few steps and then putting one leg through the middle and top rope, but pauses to lower her glasses and look out at the crowd before fully stepping through.

Baxter: And her opponent... Accompanied to the ring by legendary manager Mark Robertson. From Hollywood, California, THEEEEEEEEEE GLOOOORIOUSSSSSS OOOOOOOOOOONEEEEEEEE!

The Glorious One walks out from the back wearing a rhinestone robe. Mark Robertson leads the way. Mark walks up the ringsteps and sits on the middle rope and holds the top rope up for the Glorious One to step through. Glorious one takes her time walking up the steps before stepping through the ropes spreading her arms out wide.

DING DING

Washington: You know this tournament is serious when you see someone like Glorious One make a shocking return! Rook has had an amazing early career thus far but this may be her biggest challenge yet!

North: You don't accumulate her resume and still be in the shape to wrestle at a high level at her age without being as smart as she is and as savvy. This is going to electric!

Rook is quick to dart after The Glorious One who is quick to duck under the ropes for a quick and clean break. Rook is forced to back out as Glorious One slithers outside of the ring to speak with Robertson, perhaps in a play in psychological warfare.

North: Glorious One isn't in any hurry to give Rook what she wants though!

Washington: It's a psychological ploy, Kevin. She's trying to get into Rook's head early and often, she's trying to get the rookie to get a little overeager and then pounce.

Rook sees this and quickly goes to dive through the ropes, but Glorious One and Robertson split like a pair of pins. Rook however doesn't crash and burn as she catches herself and backflips into the center of the ring with a loud crowd cheering as Glorious One and Robertson look flustered.

Washington: Now Rook is playing some mindgames of her own! This might turn into a game of chess!

North: Rook certainly has her own style, it's definitely a clash of the old guard vs the new generation!

Meanwhile the referee begins to count Glorious One out, ordering her back into the ring.

1!

2!

3!

4!

5!

6!

Glorious One continues to take her sweet time as Rook has her eyes glued on her the entire time. Rook actually backs up and invites her into the center of the ring.

7!

8!

Glorious One hops up on the apron and steps inside the ropes, Rook grinning as she keeps her word and stays back, leaving her and Robertson unsure exactly what to think.

North: I'm not sure Rook should've just let Glorious One into the center of the ring like that instead of pressing on the gas.

Washington: I can understand that but in a way it's genius. Glorious One expected some kind of trick and it never happened. Now is she wondering in the back of her head if something else is in store that she just hasn't seen yet? It's definitely gamesmanship in play here.

Rook backpedals to the ropes, and throws her arms behind the top rope and leans back, holding herself steady she kicks her feet up and positions and lays herself on the top rope leisurely and grins wider which seems to finally move Glorious One into action. Glorious One darts after her, causing Rook to drop down onto the apron and with the aid of the ropes swing a very high kick to the temple of the Glorious One, stunning her on her feet before hitting a plancha hurricanrana back into the ring!

Washington: Sometimes overconfidence can be a bad thing but right now Rook is definitely using her confidence to her advantage and making it work for her! She's gotten inside Glorious One's head, not an easy feat for a savvy veteran like her.

North: A high kick like that followed up by a hurricanrana is enough to get anyone's bell rung in quick succession!

Washington: Rook nearly became the LONE Champion in her first match against then-champion Alison Crowne. At worst she's always been very competitive ever since and what a statement it'd send if she could somehow find a way to capture victory! There's a lot of match left to be had but she's off to a fantastic start.

Glorious One quickly gets back to her feet a bit flustered as Rook is already up as well as she seems to be going for a boot straight to the head. Glorious One manages to side step and seems to regain her footing, only for Rook to slip behind her and take her down from behind as she's already going for her heel hook! Glorious One scrambles desperately and manages to hang onto the bottom rope just before Rook could fully lock it in!

North: Oh ho! Rook almost had her with that heel hook!

Washington: Glorious One is flirting with an absolute disaster here!

The referee calls for a clean break, which Rook gives at the count of 2, keeping it locked in a little longer than usual to send a bit of a psychological message.

North: Rook is absolutely dominating the former champion early on!

Washington: I am a little surprised I have to say, even with her track record so far. Glorious One is on a whole different level, with respect to most of the rest of the women on the roster. She's a legend, she's got experience most just simply don't have and she's absolutely bringing it to her!

Rook backs off to the center of the ring and invites Glorious One to come after her. The Glorious One looks visibly flustered at this point and shouts something back at Robertson on the outside. Glorious One slowly moves to the center to meet Rook, not wanting to rush her and hoping to find a way to slow down the pace of this match an begin working back to her strengths. Glorious One invites Rook to a test of strength as she holds her hands up high and Rook grins and looks to reciprocate. Glorious One seems to have finally found her opening as she quickly brings her hands back down and claws and rakes them over Rook's eyes, ripping off her sunglasses in the process! The crowd boos loudly but Robertson applauds loudly on the outside as Glorious One firmly plants Rook with a DDT!

North: What a nasty DDT! That just might be what Glorious One needs! It's only a shame that she had to cheat just to catch a breather!

Washington: She's a survivor, Kevin. Sometimes you have to literally scratch and claw to get out of a bad situation! Like it or not, you don't reach the point she has in her career without developing some tricks to preserve herself!

Glorious One quickly grabs her in a sleeper hold and begins to drag her to the crowd, using her body weight and leverage to control the off balanced and flailing Rook. Glorious One manages to take her down to the ground and keeps the sleeper hold locked in tightly, trying to choke every last breath of air out of Rook's lungs. Rook gasps for air and struggles, trying to reach for the ropes in vain as Glorious One transitions to the leg body scissors and squeezes from two points of attack, looking to put this match on ice and advance in Queen of the Castle.

North: Sleeper body scissors, she's looking to put this match on ice!

The referee tries to ask Rook if she wants to give up, and she manages to shout “NO!” but perhaps against her own best interests as she expelled a lot more air than she needed to, making Glorious One's boa constrictor impression look more and more on point by the second. Rook's arms begin to droop and fall limp as the Glorious One asks the referee to check her. The referee grabs Rook's wrist and lifts her arm high into the air before letting go as it drops limp to the mat.

ONE!

Washington: She's fading, she's fading fast, this might be it!

Glorious One manages to make her hold even tighter now, if that were even possible, as Rook's face begins to turn red and blue from the pressure and lack of oxygen. The referee goes to lift Rook's arm up again and once more it falls limp to the mat.

TWO!

North: Glorious One is just one more arm drop away from advancing via submission!

The referee strongly considers calling for a medical stoppage here and now, but decides to go through the final check, rather hastily now, to keep his bases completely covered. He lifts her arm up one final time and it begins to fall like a stone plunged into a lake but right before it hits the mat Rook forms a fist.....

… and pops it back up into the air as the crowd roars to life!

North: Rook isn't done!

Washington: I don't know where she found the strength to do that, but she's not going to quit!

Glorious One begins to shake her head vigorously as Rook begins to push herself up! Glorious One sandbags her weight on Rook, making zero effort to be pulled up with her, keeping the body scissors and sleeper hold locked in tightly, forcing Rook to essentially deadlift her with her body from the prone position. The referee keeps a steady eye on Rook as she first manages to get to her knees before getting to one knee, and then finally to a vertical base all while Glorious One clung to her back for dear life! Robertson yells encouragement to Glorious One, to keep her locked in just a little longer before she fades again and Glorious One tries to buy every single second she can to make that a reality. Rook, knowing her positioning within the ring begins backpedaling with a purpose, slamming Glorious One's body right into the turnbuckles! Glorious One finally has no choice but to relent as she lets go!

North: Rook got free, but the damage might already be done!

Washington: Might? I'm pretty confident it has been done! That's a lot to come back from, she's wheezing and gasping for air, her ribs were constricted and constrained her ability to breathe properly. Her body needs to get some oxygen back into her lungs and her system and Glorious One might not afford her that luxury!

Rook is breathing very heavily looking to catch her breath but Glorious One, despite writhing in pain was still in much better shape overall and quickly cuts Rook's feet out from under her with a chop block that skirts very close to being illegal maneuver if for no other reason than medical that sends Rook immediately back on her back. She grabs Rook by the legs and drags her into the middle of the ring and flips her over on her stomach for a boston crab! From one submission to another Rook was once again stuck in very bad way!

North: From one submission to another, Glorious One now has her trapped in that boston crab!

Washington: Glorious One has already managed to regain the momentum here in a swift manner, this might be all she wrote!

Rook screams in pain that while now she could breathe her legs and back were on fire, and her midsection already worked on a bit with the body scissors. Glorious One was looking to completely break Rook down and make her submit, especially after the disrespect she received at the beginning. Rook begins to crawl towards the ropes but her journey is painstakingly slow. The referee checks on Rook if she wants to submit but she shakes her head, as defiant as ever.

North: Rook refuses to quit!

Washington: But she might have to decide, soon, what's more important, winning this match or preserving her body for a longer career? Some lasting damage could be done here if she's not careful!

Rook scratches and claws to the ropes, inch by inch as Glorious One sat back as far as she possibly could, making Rook struggle for every single inch she gained. Rook's face begins to turn red again just from the sheer amount of pain shooting through her body, it was almost too much to handle. The referee asks her a second time if she wants to give up and again Rook refuses to give in as she flips the bird to the referee in defiance! The referee is taken a bit aback by her fire and defiance as the crowd tries to rally Rook back to the ropes. Finally, after what seems like forever Rook finally is able to reach out and gets her hand on the bottom rope! The referee immediately calls for the clean break and Glorious One milks the 5 count for all it's worth!

1!

2!

3!

4!

Glorious One finally lets go, only to avoid disqualification!

North: Glorious One abusing the rules, milking every second she could!

Glorious One doesn't give Rook a single second to recover though, as she watches her foe pull herself up with great struggle, nearly crippled by the former LONE Champion's surgical assault with the sole intent of tearing her body apart before defeat. As Rook finially forces herself back to hear feet The Glorious One sees the golden opportunity, the Spotlight calling for her as she hits Rook with The Spotlight from behind, her vicious backbreaker!

North: Spotlight! Spotlight! She's put countless people away over the years with that backbreaker!

Washington: All she has to do is go for the pin and this is as good as done!

The Glorious One doesn't go for the pin however, she wasn't going to make it that easy on Rook, she wanted to break her just a little more. She once again drags Rook to the center of the ring and locks her in the boston crab once more! Now with Rook's back thoroughly targeted and worked over she screamed in pain as Glorious One knew the end was near!

North: She wants to torture her just a little more, she wants to physically force Rook to submit to her!

Washington: She's trying to break Rook!

Rook tries her best to crawl to the ropes but she's making no significant headway towards her salvation. She clutches her fist and slams it on the mat several times, doing so to avoid the referee taking it as her tapping out. Glorious One meanwhile can feel it in the air and she torques back with all she can as she looked to deliver the kill! Rook hovers her open hand over the mat, close to tapping out but instead she forms it into a fist and tries to push herself up one more time... managed to just get enough to twist her body and reverse the boston crab into her patented heel hook! Glorious One's eyes nearly bulge and pop out of her head in shock as she went from being in total control to trapped in the center of the ring with no way out! Rook has the heel hook locked in tight and if there was a way to wiggle out it was far from obvious and despite Robertson's loud protests on the outside Glorious One has no choice but to tap out!

Baxter: Here is your winner by submission... ROOK!

North: Rook somehow, someway found a way to seal the victory! She snatched victory from he jaws of defeat!

Washington: This is the biggest win of Rook's career, this is huge! After such a stunning victory, defeating who would've been considered anyone's favorite pick to win the whole tournament you have to count Rook among the favorites to go all the way now! She overcame what would've been considered an impossible challenge and she did it in the first round!

Alison Crowne Interview

The camera shifts back to Alison Crowne sitting in a chair in her locker room, her half of the LONE Tag Team Championship hanging on a nearby rack. She’s in her ring gear just in case she was needed but right now she was sitting in front of the camera for one reason; remembering “The Glorious One” Lisa Robertson and what she meant to her career and this industry.

Alison: Sometimes you don’t know what you have until it’s gone. We wake up every single day taking the breath we draw into our lungs and the light that shines through the window as a given; that no matter what we may be going through that there will always be another day to bring us hope. And this is true more than we may truly ever realize but one day… we will all come to realize that it may be our final day on this earth.

Memento Mori; remember that you must also die.

Alison’s tone was somber as she stared down at the floor for a moment, her forearms resting on her knees as she leaned forward.

Alison: A few months ago I got to see Lisa one more time when she participated in Queen of the Castle as a complete surprise not only to the fans in attendance but most of the locker room itself. She was happy, she seemed to be healthy and at the end of the day she wanted to do right by this business and this industry that we’ve dedicated our lives and our craft to. A lot of people saw the woman on screen and how she was with the cameras rolling but back behind that curtain? She was the locker room mom. Just a few months ago we were talking and catching up in the back and it just felt like at the time you would be here for many more years to come and that we’d be destined to meet again and smile together.

Alison couldn’t help but smile fondly.

Alison: She was always quick to share her knowledge with us, quick to give pointers to those that needed it and she would always ready to review promos and matches to critique to those who asked. She’d always point out what was good and praise it while also pointing out anything that needed improvement; she was such a positive force backstage and helped a young locker room grow. She was the definition of true pro and an even better person. My heart goes out to her family in this difficult time, especially Mark and Felicity, we’ve all lost a wonderful and brilliant light in this world.

The normally cool and composed Alison begins to choke up and she does her best to try to keep her composure as she covers half of her face with her hands for a moment. She appeared to be on the verge of tears but somehow found a way to keep her composure well enough to continue speaking, even if it appeared it would break at any given moment.

Alison: I’m fortunate, blessed, that I got to share the ring with her on two different occasions. The first time I was teaming with Terri at New Years Rising at LONE 8 in 2018 but the second one… that’s the match I’ll remember for the rest of my career and the rest of my life. The very next month, at LONE 9 I faced Lisa in one of the bloodiest, most brutal matches of my career in a Bull Rope Match, challenging for the LONE Championship. Up until this point in my career… I never had the opportunity on that kind of level on a stage as big as this to show that I could be someone trusted with that kind of responsibility. For better or worse I developed the reputation as a tag team wrestler first teaming with Lexi and then later with Terri and while I had gotten some singles opportunities elsewhere I was always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

She believed in me. She’s the one that wanted that match to happen and to give me that opportunity; and she made sure I looked like gold.

Even though I didn’t win, even though I came up short that night she made sure that I had the best audition possible for that spot for the future and you know what? She took care of me; she took care of me despite having no obligation to. That’s just who she was, anybody that knew her knew what a big heart she had. She took care of Terri, she took care of everyone she ever faced in that ring and in the back so that we could all come up together and have a fair slice of the pie. She wanted everyone to prosper.

So from the bottom of my heart; thank you, Lisa. I wish you were still here with us, I wish we could induct you into the LONE Hall of Fame someday with you giving the speech you deserve to give to a packed crowd and celebrated for all that you did. I wish you could see us continue to grow after you carried that torch for us when we needed it the most; there’s so many things I wish I could say to you for what you’ve done for my career. Rest in Power; we all love you.

Alison Crowne vs. The Glorious One

Alison Crowne vs. The Glorious One
Bull Rope Match
LONE 9
February 23rd, 2018

As I Am by Dream Theater kicks in, and out steps Alison Crowne who stomps to the ring with a purpose! Once she gets to ringside, she slides in and stands in the center, turning towards the entrance way and doing a come bring it motion with her right hand towards the entrance way.

North: Crowne wasting no time here! She wants the Champion in a bad way!

DIC: And trust me, she's gonna get her... In a bad way!

A beautiful symphony begins to play over the public address sound system as coming out first just so happens to be the legendary manager, Mark Robertson and behind him trails the LONE Champion, The Glorious One wearing a very expensive diamond studded robe with the most prestigious title in our business today, the LONE Championship strapped around her waist.

North: It's main event time. Alison Crowne was involved in a grueling match earlier tonight while The Glorious One is as fresh as a daisy. With Mark Robertson of all people as the referee one has to wonder how competitive this match will really be.

DIC: Kev-O, you know Robertson will call this right down the middle; he's never lied before. I trust Stevenson.

North: That's like saying you trust a thief to steal from you because he's good at his job.

DIC: Well, they are. But Robertson is an honest man, you watch.

Baxter: The following contest is scheduled for one fall...

Crowd: ONE FALL!

Baxter: And is for the LONE CHAMPIONSHIP in a BULLROPE MATCH! First, the challenger, from Gainesville, Florida, The Crowne Jewel of Professional Wrestling, ALISOOOOON CROWNE!

The crowd gives Alison a huge cheer!

Baxter: And her opponent, from Hollywood, California. She is the LONE CHAMPION... THEEEEE GLORIOUS OOOOOOOONE!

The crowd now showers The Glorious One in Boos, and she spreads her arms, seeming to soak it in!

Crowne slips her end of the bullrope around her wrist, grabbing hold of it as Robertson instructs Glorious One to slip her end on. Glorious One acts like she's about to accept it but slips out and backs off at the last second causing Crowne to step towards her only for Robertson to intercept her. Robertson instructs Crowne that the match can only begin when they're both attached to the rope. Glorious One takes her time again to grab a hold of the rope but once again backs off causing Crowne to step forward again only for Robertson to block her path. Glorious one grabs a hold of the rope, not yet slipping it around her wrist but instead clutching the cowbell in the middle, she rings it once as if to communicate with Robertson, who steps out of the way as Glorious One blindsides Crowne with the bell! Finally once her opponent is down on the mat she slips her end of the rope around her wrist, Robertson conveniently calls for the match to begin.

DING DING

DIC: And Glorious One shows why she's the champ right there with that.

North: A coward, that's what she is. Kept ducking the rope until Robertson positioned himself to assist with the cheap shot.

DIC: Would you stop with the excuses? Anything goes here buddy, that was 100% legal, by the book.

Robertson doesn't give Crowne the same kind of luxury to get ready as Glorious One wastes no time stomping on her head in the corner, as if she were trying to draw blood. Crowne does the best she can to defend herself but Glorious One is relentless. Robertson leans over her shoulder as if to get a better look as Glorious One stops her stomping parade as she then grabs some of the rope and begins to wrap it around Crowne's neck! Crowne slips her hands underneath the rope to preserve some of her airway, Glorious One looking for the early knockout.

North: Crowne already is closer to empty than full on the metaphorical gas tank. She is struggling to defend herself right now.

DIC: Superior preparation. That and with Robertson calling the match right down the middle she has the ultimate champion's advantage. And how could you blame Stevenson for this one? Bux went rogue as it is, you can't trust one of his guys in a match of this caliber.

North: We're not dealing with replacement refs here; Robertson notwithstanding. LONE officials have always called the action right down the middle; this is Stevenson just stacking the deck to protect his investment.

DIC: You don't leave your money exposed when you don't need to. This is as close as you can get to protecting the champion in a bullet proof motorcade. Bux can't be trusted to have this match called fairly.

North: And that's how I know you're on the Stevenson Bonus Payroll.

DIC: Damn straight, and you're not invited. I get the big bucks because I don't blindly follow Jack E. Bux.

Crowne struggles to get to her feet, her eyes watching Robertson like a hawk who seems more than eager to call a quick one but for the moment is allowing Glorious One to show off. Glorious One grins and talks some trash to Crowne who seems trapped as the crowd lets their displeasure be heard. Glorious One grins and begins to parade Crowne around the ring with the rope around her neck as if she were walking a dog, Robertson leaning against the ropes with a smug grin on his face as he didn't even pretend to check on Crowne's well being. Glorious One was determined to break her spirit but suddenly the crowd popped rather loudly as Crowne managed a modified judo throw, Glorious One immediately losing her grip allowing her to get free. Crowne gasped for air as she kept herself up with the aid of the top rope, she appeared to have been very close to passing out before the counter.

North: Crowne's martial arts knowledge and training allowed her to remain calm under that situation. Most people would've panicked in that situation which would've made her pass out for sure. She managed to keep her composure where most would've lost their nerve.

DIC: The damage is already done though. Just because she escaped the python's clutches doesn't mean the python didn't hurt her. When you've been around the block like Glorious One you maximize the shots you land and the holds you lock in.

Glorious One quickly rolls out of the ring to avoid her opponent as Crowne was still getting air back into her lungs. Crowne noticing this attempts to make a move as she grabbed a hold of the rope but Glorious One was much sharper and quicker on the draw as she too grabbed hold and fell backwards with all her weight causing Crowne's throat to collide with the top rope! Crowne clutched her throat in pure agony; if she wasn't having a hard time breathing before she certainly was now as Glorious One got back up to her feet allowing Alison to slump backwards, the law of gravity being the only thing from her falling completely. Glorious One yanked on the rope again this time yanking Alison out under the top rope and crashing to the outside.

DIC: I'm telling you Kev-O-Rino, Alison Crowne should just tell Robertson she's had enough and yield. She did the smart thing against Qent and took what was there but if she wants to be the next in line after Glorious One's eventual retirement she needs to preserve her body.

North: As good as Crowne is I don't think many would be able to do much better under these circumstances. Glorious One is in complete control, she's got the deck stacked in her favor. I know Bux meant this match to be a great equalizer but Stevenson has completely sabotaged that plan.

With her arms outstretched wide Glorious One paraded herself in front of a very hostile crowd. A "We Want Terri!" chant breaks out, hoping that the other half of Royal Plunder would come out to even out the odds of Robertson's lack of officiating but their pleas fell on deaf ears. Crowne, barely conscious at this point feels the repeated slaps of Glorious One across her face in a mocking manner, causing more insult than injury before eating a vicious boot to knock her back down to the ground. Glorious One drags Crowne over to the steel steps and begins to wedge her arm between the steps and the post before stepping back to size up the best angle to take.

North: Enough already! Enough! You got the ref in your pocket, you got Stevenson watching over you like Satan's Guardian Angel. No reason to try to shatter her arm now, none!

DIC: When a threat presents itself to you; you look to end it by any means possible. Glorious One is only doing what any champion should do in her shoes. Protect the investment, eliminate the threat and get out of Dodge!

Robertson meanwhile is pretending to not notice as he's checking his watch, occasionally looking up to Glorious One with a mischievous smile, one that's returned in kind as she gets ready to take off like a rocket. Glorious One charges ahead with a head full of steam but Crowne moves... Glorious One misses and collides with the steps as a loud CLANK and THUD are heard, Glorious One tumbles to the ground grasping her knee and leg in pain. Robertson immediately turns pale as Crowne wills herself up and starts smacking the cowbell on the injured leg!

North: Turnabout is fair play as they say. Crowne attacking that freshly injured leg with the cowbell will neutralize The Glorious One's mobility big time.

DIC: You're saying that because of her age aren't you? Ageist!

North: Age has nothing to do with taking a steel cowbell to the knee. It hurts regardless. It's not going to swing the tables in a definitive way by itself, but it's going to even a rocky playing field just enough to give her a chance.

DIC: Forget it, she's spent like the DIC-ster on a Valentine's Day Night after a dinner and movie. I maybe be a thoroughbred stallion but when DIC goes hard you better believe he goes all out!

North: I could've done without that mental image.

Glorious One screams as the metal clangs repeatedly against her leg. Crowne finally stops to grab a hold of it and slams it against the steps! Crowne scoops Glorious One up and slides her into the ring but her opponent quickly rolls back out, the rope still connected but a turnbuckle post separates the two. A tug of wore ensues but Crowne manages to yank back with authority sending Glorious One's head straight into the post, only barely having enough time to throw her hands in front to blunt the blow as she crashes down. Robertson paces around the ring nervously feeling powerless to stop the onslaught without throwing in the towel on his client's behalf. Alison Crowne quickly dips into the ring and rolls out to where Glorious One was at to avoid the obstacle and tosses Glorious One into the ring once again to go for the pinfall. Robertson drops down to count.

1.......

2............................

.................... Glorious One jerks her shoulder up perhaps out of a pure reflex as Robertson waves it off as only a two count.

North: That was a slow count. Blatant slow count.

DIC: Looked regulation to me.

North: You can't be saying that with a straight face.

DIC: You better believe I am.

North: How much does Stevenson pay you to play that act up?

DIC: Enough, he pays me as much as he needs to. I'm not going to argue against the judgment of the man that signs my check. That was a regulation count and anything else I'm just going to have to file under the fake news column.

North: You're a piece of work. No wonder you would never be caught dead in a career in journalism.

DIC: They can't afford me. I win with class.

Crowne pops up from the mat and slaps her hands together three times in a righteous protest; the crowd could've easily counted to 12 from that pinfall. Robertson claims he didn't have a very good view and that his lumbar was acting up and that he was in too much pain. Crowne glares daggers his direction; a rarity for someone who normally was well known for keeping her composure and took a menacing step towards his direction. Robertson, likely remembering her knowledge of martial arts begins to back off, pointing to his uniform before throwing his hands up. This gave Glorious One the time she need to get her barrings about her, as she expertly manipulated the rope, the rope that managed to be positioned just between Crowne's legs, and as she got to her own feet she yanked upwards in a violent manner.

DIC: Yeeeeeeoooooowwwwww! Even I felt that one! That's like taking a wedgie but much worse. Regardless of the internal plumbing that's enough to catch anyone by surprise. And it's completely legal.

North: I think this is the first time we've been in agreement this show.

DIC: Broken clock is right twice a day.

North: And even then I can't count on the truth to slip out of your mouth by accident event often.

DIC: Funny Kev-O, about as funny as your broadcast resume. Keep it up.

Crowne's eyes nearly pop out of her head out of shock as Glorious One then yanks backwards to send Crowne faceplanting to the ground. Glorious One limps as she favors her leg, clutching onto the top rope for a moment to maintain her balance. Glorious One bounces off the ropes as she drives her good knee into the head of Crowne, quickly rolling off the impact to prevent pressure on her injured leg. Glorious One quickly tries to trap Crowne's arm, looking to transition into a crossface but Crowne quickly goes for a pinfall counter... 1, 2, thre-NO! Robertson allegedly has something in his eye as he stops his count, rubbing it and gasping in dramatic fashion trying to fish out a nonexistant foreign particle.

DIC: Man, I feel for Mark Robertson there. Got something in his eye of all the times!

North: Oh yeah, "poor Mark". This is an embarrassment, I've seen kangaroo courts more impartial than this officiating. The only thing stopping me from walking out of this farce is Jack E. Bux. The man has already had enough bad fortune fall on him, the least I can do is do my job and make sure people like you don't get away with distorting the truth.

Crowne sits up and gets to a knee gingerly holding up three fingers again. Robertson once again has an excuse and that he 'couldn't accurately see' what was happening in the ring at that moment. Glorious One quickly slides Crowne on her back for a pin causing Robertson to miraculously heal as he quickly drops down to count. OneTwoTHRE-KICKOUT!

North: Oh, and now he speeds up?

DIC: Still looks regulation to me.

North: That's a screwy count and you know it. Alison Crowne barely had the time to kick out of that and I'd argue that a fresh opponent would have the same problem with Robertson in there making a mockery of the referee's uniform.

Glorious One quickly cuts Crowne's legs out from under her as she tries to get up and hooks both legs in another pin attempt. OneTwoTHRE-KICKOUT! Crowne managed to barely kick out at again as she tries to pop up, this time being captured in an inside cradle pin. OneTwoTHRE-KICKOUT!

DIC: You want to talk about a strategy executed to near perfection? Glorious One is looking to exhaust her opponent with these frequent pins and you can tell by Crowne's breathing that it's working.

North: Robertson is trying to finish this one as quickly as possible now. They feel threatened by her resolve, they're intimidated by Alison Crowne's fortitude and heart and they're looking to stomp it into the ground to keep that gold in the Stevenson Camp. This is a set up!

Crowne is looking winded from the successive pin attempts, having to exert more energy than usual to beat a lightning fast count. Glorious One starts to hammer down on Crowne aggressively trying to put her away once and for good but Crowne manages to match her blow for blow as they slug it out on their knees. Crowne. Glorious One. Glorious One. Crowne. Back and forth they trade punches, elbows, and knife edge chops for all they're worth. Crowne begins to connect with more and more as Robertson begins to look concerned for Glorious One but quickly he's grinning once again like a cheshire cat as Glorious One rakes Crowne in the eyes to halt the assault! Glorious One swiftly grabs a hold of the cowbell and slams it into Crowne's head, the corner catching her and busting her open in a bad way! A river of blood begins to gush out, covering her face and dripping down onto the mat and on her ring attire as she falls down to the mat.

North: This is... I don't have any words for this. She's bleeding like a stuffed pig. Alison Crowne is hurt and she is hurt in a bad way. Her entire face is covered in blood and it's already starting to pool on the mat.

DIC: I'd say stick a fork in her but Glorious One already did that. That's it Alison; you're done. At least have the decency to lose with class here. Admit that The Glorious One was the better woman and end your suffering.

Glorious One grins at her handiwork and gets to her feet, still nursing the limp in her step as she shouts out "WHO'S YOUR QUEEN NOW?!" as the crowd meets her with deafening boos.

North: There's no need for that.

DIC: Looks like the Crown wont be captured by Crowne; it's going to stay right where it belongs.

Glorious One slowly walks over to Crowne who's laying in a pool of her own blood as Robertson begins to 'record' with a hand crank camera motion, harkening back to last month's tag match as she looks to finish this with The Spotlight and get out of Dodge while the going was good. Glorious One has a hard time trying to scoop Crowne off the mat, sticking to it like dead weight or a drunk who just had too much to drink at the pub. Out of arrogance Glorious One slaps Crowne in the face; Crowne begins to stir. She does it again as she begins to make way in prying her to a vertical base. Then she does it the third time; Crowne stops and looks up on one knee. Glorious One slaps her again and Crowne begins to rise before being met by another and another each slap becoming more desperate. The blood; the slaps, it gave her a second wind. Crowne makes it back to her feet on her own power as Glorious One is taken aback. Glorious One throws a punch now and Crowne doesn't flinch; doesn't react. Glorious One throws another punch, even harder this time but Crowne seems to be impervious. Glorious One throws her hardest yet... Crowne blocks it, and with her free hand points right at her as the crowd pops loudly.

North: How did she find that reserve? How could anyone manage to fight through that? That has got to be 100% adrenaline right there.

DIC: She's only delaying the inevitable, she's going to go out on her sword in a fit of arrogant defiance. She's cocky, I'll give her that. But it's not going to matter.

Crowne hammers Glorious One with a right punch sending the champion stumbling back as she winds back and connects with a second right! With one more right Crowne swiftly irish whips Glorious One into the ropes and connects with a beautiful spinning heel kick to the back of her head; Robertson realizes the champion is in trouble.

North: Spinning heel kick! I feel like I've seen a similar exchange before but with a big boot and a legdrop instead.

DIC: Well Crownemania is about to run out of gas I'll tell you that, brother.

North: When your body is pumped full of adrenaline you'd be surprised how far past their limits a person could push through.

Crowne, crimson mask and all starts raising her hands up to get the crowd behind her. Glorious One struggles to get up, falling to one knee several times before finally turning around... wobbling... Crowne kicks her in the gut, throwing her head between her legs and getting her foe in the double underhook clutch.

North: Tiger Driver '98, Tiger Driver '98! It's not very often that Crowne pulls this move out of her arsenal but when she does that generally tends to be all she wrote!

Crowne lifts her up and comes crashing down, sitting out with the impact as Glorious One is driven headfirst into the mat! Alison Crowne goes for the cover. 1! 2! 3!

The crowd counts but Robertson refuses to do his job!

4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9!

North: Alison Crowne should be the LONE Champion three times over right now. The crowd knows it, I know it, Robertson knows it, the fans at home know it. Instead of a celebration for someone who got put through the ringer Robertson still refuses to do his job!

DIC: I mean... Glorious One appears to be out cold.

North: There's no way you can justify this kind of poor officiating. I don't care how much Stevenson pays you.

Crowne finally breaks her own pin as she begins to argue with Robertson. Crowne is heated at this point, fueled by adrenaline and an anger she isn't able to contain anymore as she gets in his face and grabs his shirt! Robertson is quick to remind her that he's the official and what he says ultimately goes. Finally the banter gets loud enough for the ringside microphones to pick up.

Crowne: Do your job!

Robertson: I am!

Crowne: No, you're not! I put her shoulders down to the mat and you count like a snail, or you 'get something in your eye', or your phantom arthritis flares up. Oh but when your girl gets a fall you count faster than the Flash at a black Friday sale!

Robertson: Don't make excuses because you can't get the job done. My job is to count the pinfall, acknowledge a submission or stop the match on medical grounds.

Crowne: Fuck you! You know what? Ok, if you're not going to count and do your job I'm going to break that blowhard of yours and send her ass back to Stevenson in pieces!

Robertson: What are you doing? Hey, listen to me when I talk to you!

Crowne shoves Robertson in frustration as he seems to express genuine shock and grabs a hold of Glorious One's arm, trapping it like she's going for a crossface of her own, but instead of going for the facelock she grabs ahold of her other arm and wrenches backwards. Then with her free leg she starts to kick repeatedly at the back of the head of the Glorious One as she's trapped!

RING THE BELL! RING THE BELL! RING THE BELL! RING THE BELL! RING THE BELL!

North: This is so unlike Alison Crowne. She has always followed the rules, she has always done things the right way so to see her attack Glorious One with so much venom in her strikes and hold suddenly is uncharacteristic to say the least. But yet she's been jumped from behind for months by Qent, who she managed to overcome earlier tonight, albeit with a little bit of unforeseen help; and Robertson has been putting the screws to her ever since the opening bell. Everyone has their breaking point before they snap and I think we're witnessing Crowne's right now; she has had enough!

DIC: I understand Robertson is only doing his job and he's trying to do the job Stevenson gave him to the best of his ability but... if Robertson doesn't stop this one on medical grounds soon Glorious One could be seriously injured.

North: Crowne is forcing Robertson into either calling the match or watch his investment go up in smoke; all in an effort to try to overcome a stacked deck!

Robertson is in a near state of panic. If he calls for the bell he'll be awarding Crowne the LONE Championship; something that he couldn't accept. But if he didn't throw in the towel on his client's behalf he may not have anything left in a champion to represent. Robertson slumps into a corner conflicted, burying his face in his hands as Crowne shouts at him.

Crowne: CALL THE MATCH! CALL THE MATCH YOU FUCKING WEASEL OR SO HELP ME I'LL END HER!

North: Regardless of how you feel about the Champion and how she won the belt, Mark Robertson needs to do the right thing right now and stop the match. It's no disqualification, anything goes in a bull rope match. Stop the match.

DIC: I hate to admit it; but you're right. This is beyond the title now, Glorious One's quality of life is in serious danger. Alison Crowne is going to end her career if he doesn't. Mark; call the match. She has a rematch clause; call the match.

Robertson seeing a choice between bad and worse finally decides to act and desperately attempts to pull Crowne off Glorious One instead of calling it! He doesn't get anywhere with that so he tries another plan. Crowne eventually lets go once she realizes Robertson is trying to force her onto her back to get a lightning fast count. Crowne sits there for a moment with blood dripping on her face as her mind races with ways to force Robertson's hand before she rolls out of the ring and lifts the ring apron up as she appears to be looking for something. Finally she pulls out a toolbox and opens it... pulling out a pair of sheers?

North: Sheers? What in the world would she do with a pair of sheers?

DIC: Well if she plans to use them to give the Glorious One a trip to the barber it's not going to suddenly make her champion by making her bald.

With those sheers her intentions soon become clear as she starts to cut off the ties holding the canvas to the ring frame. She swiftly works on half of one side before going around the corner and cutting off roughly the same length. Rolling back in she pulls back the canvas and the padding exposing the hardwood underneath. Robertson objects, to which Crowne simply responds "call the match". Crowne picks Glorious One up by her hair. She scoops her up and puts her on her shoulder as she stares dead into Robertson's eyes, telling him one last time to call it.

North: This is too much. Robertson would rather let his pride come before Glorious One's career. Alison Crowne is willing to end another person's career if it means capturing the LONE Championship and prying it out of the Stevenson Camp. No championship is worth being paralyzed over! If she hits the Crowning Moment on an exposed surface like that she's going to break her neck!

DIC: Ironic that Crowne would be willing to turn someone into a quadrapalegic over a belt. The person who always went by the book giving herself the ultimate gutcheck and isn't wavering in the face of it.

North: While this doesn't excuse the lengths she's going to none of this would even be on the table right now if Robertson called this one right down the middle from the start. If Robertson was playing a game of brinkmanship he's about to lose in a very bad way. Technically speaking she can't break any rules in an environment where there are none so maybe she feels as if she's not sacrificing her morals; but I disagree. She's about to make a mistake she's going to regret for a very long time; if not the rest of her life.

DIC: I disagree. The fact that she's willing to fight fire with fire, going all in with everything on the line; I can actually respect that in a way. Sometimes it's the only way you can get ahead.

Robertson this time was quicker to act as this time he "stumbles" trying to admonish Crowne, clipping her in the leg as he grabs the middle rope causing Glorious One to relatively fall safely on her back and not her head. Crowne clutches her knee in pain as now all three in them are covered in her blood in some way.

DIC: Mark Robertson's the real MVP with that game saving play. When confronted with bad and worse he again selects none of the above!

North: Normally I'd call Robertson out for that, but he may have just inadvertently saved Alison's soul with that one.

Glorious One is in no condition to take advantage of this but Robertson is willing to give the assist once again as he begins to drag his client on top of the challenger. The crowd begins to cheer wildly as Robertson begins his patented lighting count; ONETWOTHRE-------

Terri Thompson had finally made it into the building and pulled him out of the ring before three!

DIC: NO! DAMMIT! WHAT IS THAT GUTTER TRASH DOING INSIDE THE BUILDING! I WANT JUST ONE SINGLE SHOW WITHOUT HER STINKING UP THE BUILDING!

North:Looks like Robertson is about to get that refund for his knee!

DIC: How many dumpsters did she dive into to avoid security?! She doesn't belong here!

Robertson looks like he's seen a ghost as he begins to beg for mercy. Terri takes her time staring him down, creeping slowly to him before stepping back and superkicking his head nearly off his shoulders! Then she rolls into the ring as Glorious One is barely pulling herself up by the ropes at long last, wondering why the bell hasn't rang yet, only to eat a superkick of her own falling back onto the hardwood portion of the mat. Security storms the ring at this point but Terri quickly rolls out and escapes the other way through the crowd!

North: And with that Terri Thompson may have just taken the choice to end Glorious One's career off the table for her friend. No more Robertson, no more crooked officiating! Now an unbiased official will have to come out here and call the rest of this match right down the middle!

DIC: This is the second time tonight, the second time that Alison Crowne got bailed out at the very end. First Olga gave her an assist and now Gutter Trash. I could appreciate the Olga move but why she continues to associate with PePe LePew is beyond me; she's ruining a perfectly good match!

North: I doubt she had anything to do with either one. For Terri this is personal, being locked out of one of the biggest events LONE has held in Portland and giving a receipt to Robertson and Stevenson to foil their plot and to shuffle a stacked deck back to the proper order. This is justice!

The crowd cheers as Triple D - "Daring" Dick Drothers, an official best known for his time in Missouri comes running down the ramp but they quickly revolt as Drew Stevenson comes out from behind and tosses him into the barricade.

DIC: Yes! Stevenson, Stevenson is here to restore order!

Crowne gets up, unaware that Stevenson was about to enter behind her, as she was looking to hit one more good shot; double tapping if you will, to make sure this one was over for sure. Stevenson spins Crowne around and he shocks the crowd as he slams her onto the hardwood portion of the mat with a spinebuster.

North: Dammit, NO! NOT THIS WAY! NOT THIS WAY! DREW STEVENSON IS PUTTING THE FINAL SCREW TO ALISON CROWNE! THIS IS A SCREWJOB! HE KNEW GLORIOUS ONE WAS BEAT, HE KNEW HIS CHAMPION WAS ABOUT TO FAIL!

DIC: THIS, now this is justice!

North: There's no justice about a boss hitting a spinebuster on the talent!

Stevenson throws Glorious One on top of Crowne and fastly counts to three before calling for the bell as the crowd begins to chant BULLSHIT! Over and over.

Baxter: Here is your winner and... STILL LONE Champion... The Glorious One!

"Fly" Felicia Hawkins vs. "Pretty" Fay Qent

The camera cuts back to the commentary booth.

Washington: And now we throw it to our guest ring announcer, Evie Adams, for our main event of the evening.

Evie is shown standing in the center of the ring now. Tonight, she is dressed down. Waaaaay down. She's still got her typical velvet, dark purple choker on her neck, but that - and a plain necklace with a small silver medallion at the end - are the only things fancy about this outfit. Her top is a "Glorious One" remembrance T-shirt that's been converted to a tube top, exposing midriff and upper chest all at once. Her jeans are shredded and ripped to hell, exposing knees and thigh and really just intact enough to be glorified cutoffs. Shoes? Industrial work boots. Brand new; seems she bought them just for the event. She is holding an index card in her left hand while the mic is held in her right.

Evie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

Evie: And is for the LONE Championship!

"Stay Fly" by 3 6 Mafia hits the speakers and a big cheer from the crowd comes alive as "Fly" Felicia Hawkins makes her way from behind the curtain.

Evie: On the way to the ring, from Boston Massachusetts, she is "Fly" Felicia Hawkins!

In confidence she stands, making her way down to the ring and giving high fives to all of her fans along the way. Felicia wears a backwards cap with a a flag on it, half USA on the left and half Japan on the right and a big smile on her face. She, of course, is wearing a Glorious One remembrance t-shirts over her gear. She looks ready for action, sliding into the ring and jump into a corner with her arms up and getting the love from the crowd.

Evie: And her opponent, accompanied by Lexi Pryce, from Portland, Maine, she is the LONE Champion, "Pretty" Fay Qent!

"Pretty Vacant" by The Sex Pistols starts up and "The Powderkeg" Lexi Pryce emerges from the curtain along with "Pretty" Fay Qent. They're dressed in their usual ring gear, but with Glorious One remembrance t-shirts over it.

The two start walking down the aisle. They seem to be all business, staring into the ring and paying the fans no mind. When they get to ringside, Lexi rolls under the bottom rope and Qent enters from the stairs.

Lexi starts jawjacking with a surprised looking Felicia while Qent just gives her a menacing gaze with her arms folded across her chest.

The referee ushers Lexi out of the ring who blows him off but complies, while Qent unhooks her LONE Championship from around her waist and hands it to the ref who stands in the center of the ring and holds it in the air.

After the referee signaled for the bell, both women came out to the center of the ring and had a stare down. The fans completely behind Hawkins.

Washington: “Listen to these fans, they are fully in support of Hawkins here tonight.”

Stevenson: “They know amazing talent whenever they see it and tonight is a very different night, Frank.”

Washington: “It has been a very different night indeed.”

As both women tie up, Fay shows her superior strength as she shoves Felicia across the ring with authority. On her knees, Felicia nods showing that she understands how this thing is going to go and as they embrace in a tie up again, this time, Felicia uses her speed and manages to drop kick the knee of Fay causing her to drop down to one knee.

Stevenson: “Felicia showing some incredible intelligence here. Whenever you know someone is stronger than you, you have to improvise and that is exactly what she is doing right now.”

Washington: “We have seen some incredible growth from Felicia over the last year and there’s no doubt that she could very well pick up the big win here tonight.”

3:45 into the match…

Having tried to utilize her speed advantage, it was cut pretty short as Fay knew exactly what Felicia was up to and decided to take the legs out from her early on so she could gain a massive advantage and keep Felicia grounded. Methodically picking apart the left leg of Felicia, Fay continues applying a lot of pressure as the referee asks Felicia if she wants to surrender but she screams loudly and shakes her head indicating that no, she does not want to.

Stevenson: “We know from personal experience what taking out someone’s leg can do, don’t we?”

Washington: “Haha! Not only that but we know how much money it can make you as well.”

4:24 into the match…

Continuing to dissect the leg of Felicia, Fay shows just why she is the LONE Champion. Refusing to quit however, the fans begin to rally behind Felicia trying to get her back into this matchup.

Washington: “Listen to these people Stevenson, I have not heard anybody get behind someone so much since Terri Thompson.”

Stevenson: “You’re not wrong there, they absolutely love Terri and they obviously love Felicia, as well.”

7:42 into the match…

Having battled tooth and nail to save her leg, Felicia eventually gained a lot of momentum when she managed to hit a very stiff enziguri to the back of Fay’s head causing her to crumble down to the canvas but not for long. Limping on that hurt leg, Felicia let’s out a war cry and decides to take a very big risk by going to the top rope.

Stevenson: “I don’t know if this is a smart move or not but when you’re desperate, you will do anything to try picking up the win.”

Washington: “You can see the pure hunger in her eyes, she wants this and in a very bad way.”

Leaping off the top rope and driving on elbow down into the chest of Fay, Felicia pulls back the leg as far as she can as the referee drops down to make the count.

One…

Stevenson: “We could have a new champion, ladies and gentlemen!”

Two…

NO! Fay presses her shoulder up at the very last second showing great resilience.

Washington: “Not yet Drew, Fay wants to remain the champion and she will do whatever it takes to make that happen.”

Slapping the canvas out of frustration, Felicia heads to the top rope again.

Stevenson: “If I were Felicia, I would avoid going to the top too much as it can cost you.”

Looking to leap off again, she does so but this time, she crashes and burns as Fay moves out of the way at the last second.

Washington: “Right as you call it, that’s exactly what happened. I knew there was a reason why we call you Nostradamus.”

Lying on the canvas while clutching her abdomen in severe pain, Felicia knows that she is in trouble as the much larger Fay stands over her looking to inflict as much pain on her as humanly possible.

11:04 into the match…

Having dominated the last few minutes, this is definitely a test to the endurance and durability of Felicia. Hoisting a lifeless body over her shoulders, Fay smirks and looks to put this match away when out of nowhere, Felicia begins to squirm free. Landing in behind Fay, Felicia runs as fast as she can towards the ropes and decides to springboard off of them so when Fay turns around, Felicia lands on top of Fay with a splash.

One…

Two…

NO! Again, Fay manages to press her shoulder off of the canvas at the very last second.

Stevenson: “We have had so many close falls tonight that this match has been simply incredible.”

Washington: “Both women proving how bad that they want this match but unfortunately; it only belongs to one woman and she has yet to win this thing so far.”

Looking to take another big risk, Felicia hobbles back over to the corner and begins to climb to the top rope yet again. Signaling for Fay to get to her feet, Felicia waits patiently and as Fay finally managed to get to her feet, she turns around but before Felicia can jump off, from out of nowhere, Lexi Price shoves Felicia off of the top rope as she crashes and burns down to the canvas once again.

Stevenson: “What the hell? Come on man!”

Washington: “I had a feeling that this would happen. Felicia may have taken one too many risks and I hate to say this but it could’ve cost her.”

Lying on the canvas in pain, Fay covers Felicia and uses the top rope for leverage by placing her feet on them.

Stevenson: “Not this way, damnit!”

THR—

Washington: “MARK ROBERTSON?!”

Grabbing the legs of Fay, Mark tosses them off of the top rope breaking up the pin fall as Fay looks at him incredibly furious. Slapping the canvas to get Felicia back into this thing, we can hear Mark.

Robertson: “Come on Felicity, you can do this sweetheart. Do it for your mother, honey.”

Hearing those words puts Felicity in tears as she musters up all of her strengths and climbs to her feet. Quickly turning around, Fay looks to take her head off with a stiff clothesline but Felicity ducks underneath it and as Fay turns around, she is hoisted up with great speed and planted back down with the Spotlight.

Washington: “THE SPOTLIGHT! THE SPOTLIGHT! Felicity just used her own mothers finishing maneuver!”

Making the cover, Lexi looks to slide into the ring but when she looks back, she sees Stevenson holding onto her foot so she can’t. The referee dropping down to make the count.

One…

Washington: “My colleague keeping Lexi from breaking this thing up, Mark inspiring his daughter and folks, we could have a new champion right now.”

Two…

THREE!!!

Signaling for the bell, Stevenson pulls Lexi out of the ring as Felicity rolls over to the seated position with tears streaming down her face.

Washington: “SHE’S DONE IT! SHE’S DONE IT! FELICITY ROBERTSON IS THE NEW LONE CHAMPION!”

Quickly entering the ring with the LONE Championship in hand, Mark bends down, giving his daughter the belt as Felicity takes it and hugs it close, still crying. Crying now as well, Mark pulls his daughter in hugging her. Meanwhile, both Stevenson and Washington who are at the commentating boots are on their feet, giving Felicity a standing ovation as are all of the fans in attendance who came out to see the memorial show of one, Lisa “The Glorious One” Robertson.

Stevenson: “Felicity has done it Frank, she has become the new LONE Champion and let me tell you; she absolutely deserves it!”

Washington: “I couldn’t agree more brother, couldn’t agree more.”

Being helped to her feet by her father, both Mark and Felicity continue sharing a long hug as every single person in attendance is not only on their feet but giving her a standing ovation.
