Card: Break On Through
Match: Hayden Phoenix & Ian Windermear vs. Joey Edwards & Wayne Williams w/ Richard Steen
Record: 1 - 0

[The scene opens with Hayden Phoenix in the center of the ring, the camera pans around and the whole arena is empty. There is pure silence; it is so quiet that the slightest wind would be noticable. Phoenix has a little bit of smirk on his face as he puts his left arm up to his ear as he appears to be trying to listen to something]

[Phoenix] - They say that Silence is Golden, too bad that it isn't that easy. I am not sure if I am not hearing well enough, but it appears as though Wayne Williams and Joey Edwards hasn't said one word so far this week. Just days away from Break on Through, both of them have not been heard from. This is not how we want to win; we prepared ourselves for a hard fought match but it looks like we might not even have opponents. Perhaps if they don't show up, someone else will step up against us. It would be a shame if we prepared for a match this week and nothing happened. It sucks having to talk to a wall all week long, but if I need to get my point across to a ghost opponent than so be it. There isn't much to be said that hasn't been said before, but Ian stated it well that we are ready to go and ready to prove that we are a team to be reckoned with. Maybe we need to spend some time on WASTE... maybe our focus needs to be on them? Maybe we need to be ready for Williams and Edwards, but have a plan for WASTE? Perhaps picking out someone like Matt Ward who Ian went up against the first week. He was the opponent that had to beat Ian with his WASTE cronies; Marx, Kaiser, and Night. They might have a team of four, but if Ian and I team up at least it is 4 versus 2 instead of 4 versus 1 like at the first LEGACY show. Fighting fair is something that I personally take pride in, and if that is something WASTE cannot do than it goes to show how much confidence you should have in any one single person in that group. They are only as strong as their weakest members, and maybe it would be up to Ian and myself to take out the weakest two to work on bringing down the group.

[Phoenix looks around the arena before looking back into the camera]

[Phoenix] -
That said, only time will tell if our opponents show up or even say one goddamn thing this week. I am in hopes that they do, as I would love to prove what Ian and I bring to the table as a team. And hopefully the brass at LEGACY see what a poison WASTE is an allows us a chance to take them on in some sort of manner that would be the most fair as they have a habit of getting involved with matches. Maybe we would need some more backup to join us, who knows. We will learn this weekend what happens...
