Come As You Are

Joey Edwards & Wayne Williams vs. Hayden Phoenix & Ian Windermear

- Joey Edwards: "Open your third eye, boys."

The scene opens up to the familiar gruff voice of Joey Edwards - behind his voice told a story of both deep anger and rage. And as he looked at the camera with his bile shot eyes, you could immediately tell he was not in the mood for this promo he was cutting. You could tell that Joey Edwards was ready for a grilling sessions. With his hands behind his back - wearing his formal black suit and tie, he continued to glare at the camera without any motion or movement, just the expression of anger as his eyebrows were raised. He was standing in the middle of an empty locker room, with benches and lockers behind him scattered around inordinately. The lights in the room hung above Edwards - and shone dimly, emphasizing Edwards massively as he stood in an alpha male position.

- Joey Edwards: "Let's get one thing straight boys, wherever you like it or not - I'm one of the fucking best in this company at this current moment. And if I'm going to be honest with you, I'm quite disgusted with your comments about me. I'm quite shocked as well as disgusted in fact, because since this company opened the only thing I've shown is commitment to show up for matches as well as the will to fight. That's all I've shown during my period here, that's all I've shown. And despite last week, my opponent didn't arrive to the match - I was still declared the victor. I still had my arm raised at the end of the match. I showed up and he didn't. And the fact is boys, I won that match - whether you like it or not, you'll have to come to terms with it. I won that match and that has put me on the pedestal for success here. Even if he did show up, I probably would have won anyway.

But back to my opening statement boys, open your fucking third eye - because now, you have more than only one enemy. You see Hayden and Ian - initially you weren't the problem. You weren't in our radar - you had nothing to fear for but now, after your promo releases earlier on this week, I can honestly say that we're after you. We're after you because you arrogant son's of bitches are getting pretty brave, pretty quickly and we don't like that. I don't like that. And the fact first of all, that Hayden Phoenix called me pathetic makes me sick. Because mister Phoenix, you're the lowest of the fucking low my friend."

A momentary pause occurred as Edwards finished his sentence, with a smile plastered on his face after an offensive comments to Phoenix. He ran his fingers through his dark brown hair, his smile still embedded on his face as he coughed, before continuing.

- Joey Edwards: "You're fucking brave my friend, and you've just made an enemy. Not just any enemy like those scumbags who call themselves WASTE.. when they should be call waste of time, because let's be honest, no one gives a fuck about them. I'm worse than those scumbags. I'm meaner than those scumbags. I'm better in the ring, than those scumbags. I'm more open minded than those scumbags. And overall, I kick my ass than those scumbags. THEY'RE FUCKING SCUMBAGS! And Hayden, you my friend in particular should keep your third fucking eye open. We're a poor excuse for a tag team? Are you fucking serious?

Myself and mister Williams have been fighting as a team for three years, three fucking years. Whilst you and your friend mister Windermear, have been a team for the last fortnight. You don't have the tag experience that we do! You don't have that sense of understanding for one another! For you, to call use the reason why the tag division if failing really is an invalid opinion - because it is makeshift teams like you guys who are fucking this division up. Recently formed, one objective in mind - meaning you're not open minded. And your only objective is to beat the WASTE. The WASTE who I've repeatedly said are scumbags.. you should be focusing on US! The real deal. The stars of today and tomorrow. Your only objective is to deteriorate the WASTE. You don't have any plans to stick around as a team afterwards, you'll both go your separate ways and admittedly Hayden will be up their in the ranks, no doubt about it you arrogant son of a bitch. But you mister Windermear, I can't predict where you're going to be - because to be quite frank, you're not really showing the potential you possess.

Two matches here mister Windermear, and you've choked. You're losing my interest - but the only thing that is dragging you to relevancy is mister Phoenix, who agreed to help you out because he just wants to be involved, good 'ol Hayden. And after his done - partaking in this little feud between you guys and the WASTE, he'll turn on YOU. Because thats what little weasels like him do - they're backstabber's, the worst kinds."

Clearing he's throat he paused, allowing time to reevaluate what he has just said, and to contemplate what to say next. Edwards had hes hands clasped together whilst he looked at the floor afterwards running his right fingers through his hair. After a few seconds had passed, he's attention was back up at the camera and with a stern face, he continued.

- Joey Edwards: "We kept quiet as we normally do until one or two days before the show. We kept quiet and watched you two spiel your views and what you believe is going to go down at Break on Through. And you know what Hayden and Ian? Just to prove you little shit heads wrong - we'll do it your way. Richard Steen won't be ringside. Our motives we'll not be to cheat - but to win fairly, because thats what you guys want. You don't have to worry about any interferences or disruptions to the match. Its just going to be YOU and US! And only one team can walk out of Break on Through as victors. Only one team can stand victorious at the end with their arms raised by the official. And that team is going to be us. Good luck boys for our forthcoming match - but remember, luck's for losers.

Open your third eye - boys..."

And with that said, Edwards leaves the scene with a devilious chuckle - whilst the cameras fade to black.
