2014.07.12: PWN - LEGACY - Co-Exist Part 1
Card: Break On Through |
Match: Hayden Phoenix & Ian Windermear vs. Joey Edwards & Wayne Williams w/ Richard Steen |
Record: 1 - 0 |
[The scene opens with Ian Windermear and Hayden Phoenix carrying on a conversation, but the audio doesn't seem to be picked up by the camera crew. Both wrestlers are engaged in a back and forth conversation as it appears that they are suited up for some sort of physical activities, whether it be some in-ring work to get acclimated as a tag team or simply working out in the gym. This week's match is important to both Phoenix and to Windermear, and so to get on the same page it is important for them to work together not only in the ring the night of the match but to train together in the week leading up to their match.]

[The screne cuts to the Friday the 20th Legacy Wrestling show]
--As Windermear brought the sharp pointed stick down, it NARROWLY missed Matt Ward, as Ward managed to push himself away from the weapon strike. The amount of power behind the stab attempt hitting the floor sent a shockwave through Windermear's hands and caused him to drop the stick all as Ward rolled off to the side, picked up the already folded steel chair sitting against the wall in the corner and with EVERYTHING he had.. which was still A LOT fired off a chair shot.--
[fades out to a new clip]
--Managing to get his second wind at the right time, Windermear's adrenaline coursed through his veins as he mounted Ward and grabbed Matt by the ears--
[Ian Windermear] - "WHY WON'T YOU STAY DOWN?! HUH?!"
Bringing Matt's head up- Windermear shouted..
[Ian Windermear] - "STAY.."
SLAMMING Matt's head against the floor, he shouted again..
[Ian Windermear] - "DOWN!"
<fades out to a new clip>
Seeing Marx make his move, Windermear turned his attention to Marx and begun to shout at him.. all as hopping the barricade on the FAR side-- away from where Ian Windermear's line of vision was.. we see a figure move with grace..
[Len Ragatti] - "A FAN JUMPED THE BARRICADE!"
The figure hit the ring and purposely stomped his feet-- as Windermear turned around-- the man rocking a plague mask darted forward and planted the sole of his boot across of Windermear's face-- knocking him down AND out in the process..
[Len Ragatti] - "Wait a second.. THAT'S NOT A FAN! TH- T- THAT'S.."
With the plague mask pulled off slowly, the man got a HELL of a lot of boos..
[Len Ragatti] - "CAMERON KAISER! HE'S GOT A MATCH TONIGHT!"
Ward managed to see Cam standing there, all as Cam pointed at a downed Windermear and crawled towards him. Throwing his right arm over Windermear's fallen body, Official Polanski got into position, all as Cameron extended both arms out in the form of a crucifix and cocked his head back..
One..
TWO..
[Tracy Race] - ".. Unbelievable."
THREE!

LAST WEEK...
[The screne cuts to the Independence Day Legacy Wrestling show]
Once Hayden landed across Ian's knee, he grabbed at the pain which allowed Ian to sprint forward-- as he did so, he adjusted his elbow pad and pushed it UP of his arm, closer to his bicep and away from the crease where your lower arm meets your upper arm.. and headed back towards Hayden, unleashing FREAKIN' FURY, Windermear took out two weeks of pented up frustration with a HUUUUUUUGEEEEEEE clothesline that turned Phoenix inside out!
[fades out to a new clip]
Being resourceful, Windermear stomped on Hayden's foot which caused Phoenix to break the lock, once again Windermear looked for that crazy clothesline but Phoenix avoided it-- as Windermear turned, Phoenix threw a kick that connected across the stomach of Ian which caused the big<ger> man to double over. Hitting the ropes, Phoenix came off of it and connected with a lifting knee which hit across Windermear's face and chest-- causing it to snap upwards..
[fades out to a new clip]
JUST as Hayden fired what looked like had enough to decapitate Ian Windermear, Windermear caught the kick as he was attempting to get off of his knee- Hayden didn't allow it this time and lifted his OTHER foot-- causing it to CRASH across the side of Windermear's head.. taking him down.
[Len Ragatti] - ".. WHAT.. AN.. ENZIGURI!!"
[Tracy Race] - "THE PHOENIX RISED THERE!"
Making the cover-- the crowd jumped to their feet once more..
ONE..
TWO..
THREE!
[fades out to a new clip]
Phoenix made his way towards Windermear and both men had a stare down as Windermear totally to his feet. Now standing about four feet away from each other as Windermear held his head and Phoenix grabbed at his neck.. Phoenix' right hand came out..
[fades out to a new clip]
Windermear stuck his hand out and exchanged a handshake with Hayden Phoenix, as the crowd POPPED.
[fades out to a new clip]
[Hayden Phoenix] - "You're a tough son of a bitch Windermear.. So let me say this.. You want a shot at me? Anytime pal, you've showed that you're not some ordinary punk. You may have a match on me in terms of tenure-- but Ian.. I respect you, I respect what you're doing and for that-- I understand you've got your eyes set on WASTE-- I can't blame you. But what if I said.. I'm not gonna let you go into this war alone?!"
"The odds are stacked against you, so put it this way.. You want back at WASTE? Cool, I'm not a fan of'em. How about-- in order to make sure that there's a Ian Windermear and Hayden Phoenix rematch.. I lend a hand in your conquest to RID LEGACY of those no good, war-mongering morons!?"
Windermear nodded lightly, all as he backed up towards the ropes and exited the ring.. He didn't give a definitive answer to Phoenix' offer for help so they can have that rematch Windermear spoke off.. but as Ian backed up the aisle, he pointed out at Phoenix and nodded.
[The video clips fade back into Ian and Hayden looking face to face with the most serious looks on their faces]
[Phoenix] - Three weeks ago you went into one hell of a fight, and that WASTE trash had numbers on you. Bloodied up and beat to hell, you gave it your all. For that, you've gained respect. Last week you and I went one-on-one in one hell of match, dare I say one that the fan's will remember... and just the beginning in what looks to be a line of great matches between the two of us. Regardless of the outcome, we earned each other's respect and cannot wait for the rematch to that fight. That said, this week we are partners. And I have your back fully, you've earned at least that from me. You need not to look over your shoulder, or have to worry about defending yourself alone. We are tag partners this week, and while we both may prefer to go at it alone, we are able to even the numbers by working together. We are facing a team that likes to win the easy way, and I am pretty sure that I can speak for the both of us when I say the easy way is no fun. Let's get out there, beat the hell out of Edwards and Williams, and let WASTE know that we are out for blood. LEGACY will not be run by a group of punks that think they can interfere in matches, let alone have an all-out-attack on one person. And if they don't know if you and I can co-exist, just let them watch us dismantle Edwards and Williams this week at Break on Through.
