Independence Day was getting closer, and all the contracted talent scheduled to perform were in route to the broadcast's destination, located at Legacy Wrestling's home in Carson, California: The Carson Community Center. Amongst them was the French-Canadian Beauty herself, Ruby Red. After being escorted from the airport by a handful of hired security guards, the Latex Lady was seen holding her hands in front of her face to avoid being photographed by some of the locale passing by. The Red Rose didn't want to be seen outside of Legacy Wrestling broadcasting or have her photo taken by the undeserving inhabitants who were lucky enough to even catch a glimpse of her. Alone and without her new associate Christian Othniel to assist her, Ruby had to instead boss her driver around, instructing him to handle her luggage with care, whilst he tucked it away into the trunk of the stretched vehicle. After watching him with a glare, Ruby peered around, watching people walk by, staring at her, seemingly realizing who she was. With an exasperated sigh, Ruby was finally catered into the limousine, situating herself quickly upon entry by adjusting her hair and glancing towards the large mirror in close proximity to her seat.

The luxury sedan was decorated with the richest textures that money could afford. The intricate details of the leather pleased even the most snobbiest of clientele, which included the Red-Haired Femme, who was happily stretching her hourglass figure along the seating, her flesh grazing the surface. A small bump caused the crimson-haired goddess to jerk upwards in her seat, as she clutched her purse within her lap. With the click of an unknown button, Ruby watched as her window slowly disappeared into the lower portion of her door. The streets of Carson were now visible and no-longer tinted from view. Images of lettering, bright lights, cars, and crowded sidewalks were momentary and all meshed together in one blur of motion. Red gave a disgusted look as she leaned into the back of her seat and began to roll the window back up, having seen plenty. That was enough sight-seeing for the time being. The fact that she had to be stationed in a bore of a town like Carson disgusted Ruby to no end. Brushing an array of maroon strands from her face, Red looked towards the camera that was conveniently placed a distance from her central seat in the vehicle. The angle looked up towards her, as if she were a queen on her throne.

"Friday the 20th was nothing short of success. The fans of Legacy Wrestling witnessed a brand new union between myself, the Crimson Queen, and the Darth Ultra, Christian Othniel. And this is no ordinary association between he and I .. it's one that has meaning, purpose. You see, the ways of the business don't reach his standards .. they don't reach my standards. There's only one way, and that's .. Mauvaises Voies, Evil Ways. With my dear Othniel possibly sidelined for an indefinite amount of time, it's up to me to hold court for the time being, in only a way that he and I would approve of. Last week, I proved to the masses, to each and every person sitting within The Carson Community Center, that there is no other way to live by. I made an example out of little Zoe, proving that her way, wasn't the way. She figured an ounce of perseverance and a positive attitude would help her claim the victory over someone as polished as moi; that was her first mistake. After that, it was all downhill for her. You all witnessed it, you all saw her make error after countless error in the ring. Elle a lutté pour trouver équilibre. It was hard to watch, was it not? If Zoe can't learn from her missteps, than she has no reason being here, let alone in the wrestling industry. She will continue to lose and fall to those who embrace a higher sense of being, those who thoroughly indulge in the movement that Christian Othniel dubs as his purge."

A look of confidence overcame Ruby Red's facial expression, illuminating the scene for all the viewers to see. Red was a believer, she was a supporter of Othniel's movement and was in it for the long haul. Those that doubted the cause's progression were making a terrible mistake, a mistake that would surely cost them. It costed Zoe Matthews at the previous show and a similar mistake demonstrated by another would surely happen at the next. Tossing her crimson locks from her face, Ruby rested her arms on the side of the door closest to her, a small smirk curling along her lips. After the brief silence, she turned to the camera and began to speak aloud again, a sense of superiority radiating off her being.

"As Christian's leading lady, as the Red Rose, it's my duty to continue what he'd want to see happen in his absence; my purpose being to wear the crown, a symbol that I am indeed the Queen of the Purge. And the reign continues at Independence Day. Like our last event, I'm facing someone that I find rather obnoxious, soaked with a bubbly personality and a chipper demeanor. You know, a girl that looks at the world like a positive place to live, one where rainbows and butterflies grace the skies and good always overcomes evil; something out of a storybook, if you will. Truth be told, I don't know much about this Rina Kirilos, but from what I've seen of her in previous promotions, that's what I gathered from first glance. Well, that and that she looks like a pocket-sized wannabe, but that's neither here nor there. It's difficult not to clump her in with the likes of Zoe Matthews; they're more or less the same girl, they're generic. They always have a happy face on display for the hordes of people that come to see their shows .. but is that how they really feel? Are they really that happy with the way they live their lives? Do they honestly have something to smile about? I know that I'll have something to grin over come Independence Day. The second I lay Rina out the same way I did Zoe, I won't be able to contain the smirk that will spread across my red, supple lips. She'll just be another silly girl falling to the power that is moi."

With a swift roll of her eyes, the limousine went over an unexpected bump, and the siren flippantly flicked her locks, adjusting them once more over her shoulder, all while nodding to herself in agreement. Everything Ruby Red had just uttered from those perfectly sculpted lips, she whole-heartedly agreed with. Rina Kirilos didn't pose a threat to her, even if she was being announced and referred to as a 'little but fierce' competitor. Directing her attention back toward the lens of the camera, Ruby swung her slender leg over the other, crossing them elegantly. The angle continued to play up the view of Red being "above" her competition, specifically her scheduled opposition for Independence Day.

"I keep hearing about Legacy Wrestling acquiring all this so-called 'talent' .. these women, like Rina Kirilos, coming from promotions I've never even heard of and getting praised for being promising within Legacy's Ladies Division. Where was it that Rina was from .. ICWA, was it? What did she do there that was just 'oh so' spectacular? Does anyone honestly know? She should be able to tell me herself, but the little girl hasn't had the guts to speak out against me or share her case with any of Legacy Wrestling's followers. The way I see it, is this .. some people are has-beens, but Rina Kirilos is a never-was. Kirilos hasn't done anything worth noting, nothing that I can see as far as her so-called credentials go. Does she have countless accolades and accomplishments tacked to her name like moi? Can she stand out here and say that she's won a prestigious tournament? Can she say she's captured a championship after only being in a company for a short month? Can she say she's won an award for being one of the toughest women within the squared circle? She can't, but I can. All Rina Kirilos will be known for in Legacy Wrestling is that 'that girl' that lost to the Queen of the Purge .. an insignificant being that fell to the feet of the Crimson Queen. The fact of the matter is, Rina Kirilos has alot to prove when she steps into the ring with me at Independence Day. This isn't a promotion where the girls braid eachother's hair and gossip about boys. No, this is a promotion where the women go at one another like hellcats, eager to rip each other to shreds to prove that they are indeed the best there is to offer, celui que tout le monde vient voir .. and I plan to show Rina Kirilos just that."

Ruby's locks danced around her face, as she nodded her head up and down towards the camera, the tone in her voice coming across loud and clear: that she was more than positive on how the contest would end. Leaning closer to the camera, the Crimson Queen planted a soft, delicate kiss on the surface of her palm, just before blowing the vindictive gesture towards the lens of the recording device. In a way, it was the kiss of death. It was a symbol of Red already sealing Kirilos' fate at the hyped Independence Day event. Leaning back into her seat, Red beamed with anticipation, the camera beginning to fade to a deep abyss of black, starting the countdown for the anticipated contest where Ruby Red would take on the newcomer in Rina Kirilos. It was bound to be a match for all to tune in for.
