The Phoenix Will Not Rise:
Ian Windermear is in the medical room and he is laying down on the bed and he has his hands over his head. The camera crew comes in and it seems like Ian knows they are there. He takes a deep breath and he begins to speak.
Ian Windermear: You guys are going to come in here and ask me about what happened against Matt Ward aren’t you?
Ian gets up and is now sitting on the bed. As he gets up he groans a little bit and keeps a dead stare at the camera.
Ian Windermear: Yes Waste got me. Hell they got everyone in this damn arena. No one knew that Cameron Kaiser would be a part of Waste. No one knew that he would come out of the crowd and attack me and cost me the match. But he did and there is no going back on it there is no point of bitching about it. All I can do is sit here and have the doctor poke and prod me and tell me that I damn near got a concussion because of the match and that my career might be on the line if I keep on taking shots to the head like I took in the match with Matt Ward.
Ian sighs.
Ian Windermear: When you hear that you wonder what you should do if you should give in and just walk away or keep on fighting…
…I guess my answer is to keep on fighting and that is what I will do on July 5th when I take on Hayden Phoenix.
Ian shakes his head and looks down and as he does he keeps on speaking but it is a little muffled but you can pick out what he is saying.
Ian Windermear: I understand that Hayden is a huge prospect here in Legacy and that with his first match here he is going to put everything on the line against me. He wants to prove something and you know what I like that. I like when people come to that ring and want to fight me and want to beat me. I love it when they want to prove something and I can see that in Haydens eyes. He wants to prove something and hell he might prove it against me. The problem is that I am a little pissed off and I will have to do something to Hayden.
Legacy has seen me in an element against Matt Ward when I could use weapons this time against Hayden I can’t use weapons but I have to use my mind and that is what is going to lead me to a victory over him. Hayden is a rookie he is someone that has never stepped into a Legacy ring he doesn’t know what the fans are going to do how they are going to cheer and how they are going to boo. It is going to get into his head when he hears the fans and that is the advantage I have. I know what the damn retards are going to do I know what they are going to chant how loud they are going to be so I can block it out. Can Hayden?
Ian looks up and cocks his head.
Ian Windermear: I know that Hayden loves a fight and I am going to give it to him. You all saw what I did with Matt Ward he was inches away from losing to me but his friends had to help. With Hayden he doesn’t have any friends yet and that is a key as well. Why? Because it is going to be one on one and I’m not going to have to look over my shoulder. I just have to look into the eyes of the man across the ring from me. All I have to do is look at Hayden and I will see fear. I will see that maybe this isn’t the right place for him and I will look at him and I will have already won the match. Matt Ward might have beaten me but I am not going to fall to Hayden I will rise and Hayden will not. The phoenix will fall in this match in a glory of flames and he will burn right out when he hits the ground. Hayden might be the best prospect that Legacy has but he will only fight one match because not only do I want to beat him I want to embarrass him. But if Hayden gives me a fight I am all for it, I don’t want him to just lay down for me that’s not fun. I want to inflict pain, the Lone Wolf is back on the prowl and my first prey is on Hayden Phoenix.
Ian winks at the camera and the doctor comes back in and he starts to look over Ian and he turns to the camera and speaks.
Doctor: Turn the cameras off I have to talk to Mr. Windermear in private.
The camera turns off as we see the Doctor sitting in front of Ian.
