Show time was close to happening and Drew Stevenson was in the backstage area already dressed in his wrestling attire which consisted of dark green tights, kneepads, boots and of course taped up hands. Now compared to the rest of the roster, especially Alyssa, Stevenson has a much bigger locker room with more lavish things inside because let's face it-he is the star of legacy wrestling. Now just to add salt to the wound, Stevenson who is sitting on a very finely crafted leather couch has a drink in his hand, nonalcoholic but a drink in his hand nonetheless just to add salt to the wound of Alyssa who thinks that he has done nothing all week. As he takes a sip of his drink, he looks directly into the camera as he flashes that smirk just trying to be a smart ass towards Alyssa.

Drew, "You know Alyssa, you amaze me and not in a good way. You see, just when I think that somebody can't get any stupider-there you are to open up your mouth and prove me wrong. I mean, really, you have the audacity to say that I am bad for business?"

Expressing a very dumbfounded look upon his handsomely chiseled face, he points at himself and just sits there really trying to understand her thought process.

Drew, "In case you have forgotten Alyssa, I was the man that brought every single bit of the ratings to that promotion over in Nashville. You see, it wasn't you who everybody around the world was lining up to face when you were the champion, no, it was me so if I am bad for business-than what does that make you? Now don't answer that Alyssa, it was rhetorical, you know, the very thing that you complained that I never answered!"

Simply being a smart ass, he chuckles lightheartedly as he is not worried whatsoever going into his matchup tonight against Alyssa.

Drew, "What I find funny Alyssa is that you sit there and you whine and cry about how I'm burying you, how I'm burying the match and how I'm burying the event when in reality? Had you done your research-you would've seen that Friday the 20th this week is completely sold out just to see what's going happen and you know why? Because I put asses in seats Alyssa!"

Growing more stern, it was clear that his demeanor became much more serious.

Drew, "Now since you clearly need a compliment and a handout from me, I already told the world that you're good but I'm not going to sit there and tell them that you're better than me because let’s face it, you're not better than me! Now maybe if this was some hard-core little rinky-dink circus out in Nashville or Detroit or Philadelphia then yeah, you would maybe be better than me but here in California? You're not better than me Alyssa, you see until you drop the whole face eating crap and the whole hard-core shtick? You will never earn my respect as one of the best and if that makes you pout, if that makes you get all upset that I'm burying you then I suggest that you get over it because it's not going to change anytime soon. I'll tell you and the world one more time Alyssa, you're good but you are no Drew Stevenson!"

Once again flashing that smile, he situates himself on the couch to get more comfortable while taking another little sip of his drink.

Drew, "Now go ahead and take that however you like, because I'm not going to sit here and kiss your ass or sugarcoat things just so you feel like you fit in with the crew. That's not how I work Alyssa and I figured you knew that by now after having been in the same promotion with me over in Nashville but clearly I was wrong because here you are almost to tears that I don't compliment you. So here's what I'm going to do Alyssa, will I complement you anymore? No, but do I expect you to have more to say after listening to me talk? Of course because you definitely want the last word against me. You want to sit there and preach to the world that I am bad for this business, that I am the antichrist but if that were the case? I wouldn't have promotions lining up to sign me left and right and if you had any sliver of knowledge about how the business works-then you would know damn well just who I am and you would know exactly just how good that I am as well."

Pausing briefly, he just stares into the camera as he knows that Alyssa is listening on and just waiting to get her hands on him.

Drew, "But you see Alyssa; you should feel blessed and grateful that I'm even giving you as much time as I have. You should be on your knees with your hands clasped together thanking the good Lord that you have been given this opportunity, that you have been given the spotlight like you have because let's face it-the reason that you are in the main event this week? It's because of me Alyssa, it's because the name Drew Stevenson is written on the marquee and that alone puts asses in the seats. I mean, do you really think that it was just coincidental? Come on Alyssa, I know you're smarter than that because you witnessed what I did firsthand in Nashville, you witnessed all of the asses that I put in those seats in Nashville-and had you done your research like you claimed to have done, you would have known that Decaine, head of talent, knows exactly who I am and he knows exactly what I'm capable of."

Narrowing his eyes to reflect a more intense demeanor, he reaches over and sets the drink on the little table next to the couch as he clasps his hands together and leans forward getting inches closer to the camera.

Drew, "So when that bell sounds Alyssa? You're going to be in a very pissed off mood when you realize that you're not going to get your hands on me. See, it has nothing to do with your talent level; it has everything to do with the fact that you're a woman and I don't face women Alyssa. See, like I have told you and the rest of the world time and time again-I am a man of class and I am not going to beat up on a woman to make myself feel more powerful. Now you won't like hearing that because as I said from the beginning, you want equality and hey-more power to you because every other promotion out there just about will grant that to you but from a realistic standpoint Alyssa? There is no way in hell that you can take me down and the whole world knows it. I mean hell, how much do you weigh Alyssa? Maybe one hundred and five pounds soaking wet, maybe? So I'm supposed to get you in the ring, and I'm supposed to throw you around like a rag doll for five, maybe ten minutes just to make you feel like you belong? You see Alyssa, that's not going to happen and once again-it has nothing to do with your talent level but the fact that I don't face women, it offers me nothing and I don't benefit from it. So whatever you have to say? Feel free to let whatever crap spew from your mouth yet again and continue to cry about how I'm sexist and how I'm killing the business when everybody knows that differently except you Alyssa."

Flashing a very arrogant smirk, he kind of winks into the camera knowing that all he is doing is adding more salt to the to the wound of the already hurt Alyssa whose ego has been hurt because Stevenson does not see her as an equal in the ring. Reaching over to grab his drink, he takes another drink to wet his mouth as he then places it back on the table and continues to speak once more.

Drew, "So as time draws near? I want you to sit back Alyssa I want you to think and I mean, I really want you to think about your next promo before you open up your mouth and just let whatever shit fly from it because you have already contradicted yourself on so many occasions that it's beginning to make you look bad, not me. I mean hell, you've already proven to us that you don't think before you speak and you've already proven to us that you don't remember what you say because it wasn't that long ago that you told the world that you would be the person to beat me which in hindsight is you thinking you can make the Emerald City fall. So spend that little story Alyssa, come back at me and say that I'm wrong and that I'm not listening or whatever it is that you will say next because truthfully? It doesn’t matter!"

Shaking his head from side to side, he means business.

Drew, "The only thing that matters Alyssa is what I say and what I say goes-you will soon learn that just as everybody else in the business already has. So from me to you? Go ahead and follow that little yellow brick road because trust me; you won't like where it takes you!"

Speaking with such conviction and intensity, he leans back against the leather couch and tilts his head back to calm down. Closing his eyes, he says nothing further as he has no reason to-he has made it clear exactly what he thinks of Alyssa and he also has told her that this match will not happen. She might not like hearing it but he doesn't care-he refuses to lower his standards and beat up on a woman just to make himself feel more powerful like most of the other men in this business. Whether you love Drew or you hate him, the man knows wrestling and let's face it-everybody knows that men and women do not belong in the same ring, that's just the golden rule!
