2014.06.19: PWN - LEGACY - Phoenix Rising
[The camera begins with pure darkness, the camera flips into some sort of night vision mode and the outline of a body begins to take shape. Not much can be made of what the person looks like due to the grain of the blacks and greens in the night vision, but it looks like it was setup this way]
[Phoenix] – Well I guess my last introduction wasn’t meant to be… their loss, and Legacy Wrestling gains. Legacy… what a name…I think it fits well because I am here to cement my own. Legacy Wrestling… my new home. For those of you wondering who I am…. you will soon learn. I am here for the glory, I am here for the challenge, I am here to earn the respect of my peers, and I am here to earn the gold. Gold is the ultimate goal. Gold is my ultimate goal. First impressions are not often forgotten, how many other debuts can you remember in wrestling? How many of them are memorable? I wanted my debut to focus on ME… not lasers and smoke, not the drop of a sick beat and a grand entrance… not a claim to be ready to beat the champion or claims that no one has seen anyone like me before. I am not here to put my hair on the line, nor am I here to state that I will “get over” more than any of the big names. No one knows me, and that is the way I like it… some people like to promise big things and not deliver. I, personally, never promised anything but I enjoy making the delivery. I put actions into place and prefer to speak with my skills. I am not here to tell you that I am here to take on C-4…. Bulldozer Brixton… or even Drew Stevenson… I am simply here to do my job, work my way up, and prove myself and my own Legacy.
<He paces left to right, right to left, left to right… pauses, and stares back into the camera>
[Phoenix] – I appreciate the chance that Legacy Wrestling is giving me a chance among some of the most recognizable stars… and it is time for me to show what I have, and to cement my own legacy here. You may not know me just yet, but give it some time, because you are bound to figure out….really… just who I am. And do not begin to compare me and say “Oh he is just another “this” guy, or he is just another “that” guy”. I am who I am, and I have made sure to make that known from the beginning thanks to the training that I have received over the years. I could make statements about how I grew up watching this wrestling promotion’s show or this is my favorite wrestler… but what about that would make me different? I am not here to fit into the mold… I am not here to “break the mold” either. I am here to be who I am… I am here to prove it to myself… to the roster… to the ownership…. and to the fans. I have received some of the best training in the business, and that will shine through to anyone that watches. I am Hayden Phoenix and I am not going anywhere… anytime soon, except up. I will be rising to the top of Legacy Wrestling… and watch as I scorch the lands toward my goal…
<He pushes the camera to the side and as soon as the camera returns to where he was standing, he is gone and the camera fades to blackness>
