2014.06.15: PWN - LEGACY - Leave it to Stevenson Part 1
The 50s were an amazing time wouldn't you agree?
They were the perfect and prime example that women were homemakers and they were meant to stay at home, cook, bake, and bare children while the man goes to work and does all of the hard work. Basically, men held the power and women nodded and smiled-so yeah, it was the perfect relationship.
This was something that Alyssa Pryde needed to learn, because she felt that she belonged in the ring with men when in reality? She needed to be in the kitchen, pregnant, and learning to respect the men like Drew Stevenson who paved the road for her to be in the wrestling business to begin with.
As the scene opened up in black-and-white, much like an old leave it to beaver show, we see the kitchen which has black-and-white tiled floor and in the center of the kitchen is a table with four chairs seated around it. Walking down the stairs in a very happy, 50s style mood, was Drew Stevenson who was dressed in a white long sleeve shirt, black slacks and alligator shoes which really completed the outfit. Walking into the kitchen all hunky-dory, Drew Stevenson sits at the head of the table, and clasps his hands together placing them on the beautifully crafted wooden surface. As our camera is positioned right across from Drew, he flashes that traditional smirk, which makes you want to punch him right in the throat as you know that what is on his mind is going to get under the skin of everybody listening.
Drew, "Everybody has listened or read Alyssa talking on Twitter about how she's going to eat my face. You see, that's not going to happen-because as I told you already Alyssa, you need to earn the right to step into that ring to face a certified legend like myself. Now I know what you're thinking, you're thinking that since it has already been booked, that you are going to step into that ring and eat my face but I'm here to tell you Alyssa, I have an ace up my sleeve you can never outmatch. You see, you don't quite understand the connections that I have around the business-no, instead, you think that you can run around and do whatever it is that you please when in reality? You are competing in my business and in my business? You abide by the rules that I set-much like a home making wife from the 50s."
Cocking his head to the left just a few inches, that smile that you've all grown to know and absolutely love is seen expressed along his handsomely chiseled face.
Drew, "Now I am fully aware that you're going to run around and scream and cry sexism, but is it really sexism?"
Giving the camera a very questioned look, he sits there and gives everybody a moment to really think about what he has just said.
Drew, "If anything, I should be looked at and regarded as a hero for not putting my hands on a woman. I mean, so many are quick to judge that if a man puts his hands on a woman that he's an abuser and a bad guy, but yet in our business, we are supposed to hit and put down a woman and that is because of women like you Alyssa who feel that she deserves equality within the squared circle. But let's get the facts straight; you don't deserve equality and that is because look at my size and then look at yours. You weigh what? One hundred and ten pounds soaking wet whereas I weigh two hundred and fifty pounds and could break you in half like a twig. Oh I know, that's going to piss you off-but it's the truth and you know it's the truth. You see Alyssa, I'm a very classy, good guy, and I think it would be completely unfair of me to put you in that kind of predicament. Yes, I know that you want to be in that predicament or at least you tell yourself you want to be in that predicament but when you're in that predicament? There's no getting out, there's no escaping, and trust me, there will be no eating my face."
Sitting there at the head of the table, he pauses momentarily to gather his thoughts and to let Alyssa think about everything that is coming up.
Drew, "I'm aware that you are known for being a hardcore, a very violent woman who can take the man-but in that ring? You have never faced a man like me and you will never face a man like me ever again. You see, after Friday the 20th number one? You will be the prime example of a housewife when you no longer want to step into the ring because of the beating that I will give you. Now it's not that I want to give you that beating, but you're not going to leave me any choice Alyssa because I know the kind of woman that you are-you are going to be in my face, you're going to try to provoke me at every turn and now that you have the opportunity of a lifetime? You better make damn good on it because it will be your first and your only opportunity at stepping into the ring with greatness such as myself."
Separating his hands and leaning back in his chair, he places his hands behind his head and just stares into the camera letting his eyes wander and his thoughts takeover.
Drew, "Now after Friday the 20th? I don't want to hear you running around and complaining how I'm such a womanizer or an abuser because this is exactly what you wanted. You wanted to step into that ring with me and this is one that you will regret the moment that it's over. Now in case you don't believe me, or you think I'm pulling your leg? Go ask around-many here in Legacy wrestling can tell you exactly who I am, they can tell you exactly what I'm about and what I've accomplished. But what about you? What makes you think you deserve the opportunity to face a man like myself? Is it because you think that hardcore wrestling equals the technical, beautiful Art that I bring to the sport? Because let me tell you, if you think that your wrestling is similar or as good as mine? You're going to be sadly mistaken when you're on your back, no position unfamiliar to you-looking up at the bright lights seeing my hand raised in victory."
Once again expressing that Stevenson smirk, he leans forward getting inches closer to the camera as the fire and determination can be seen in his dark brown eyes.
Drew, "You see Alyssa, Bradyn Saint put it best-you should have just learned to stay in the kitchen. You should have learned to be the standard woman, who stays at home, watches soap operas, eats bonbons, and makes sure that her man is one hundred percent taken care of and pleasured but instead? You decided to step up to me, you decided to play in a man's game and you decided to take a big giant crap in my yard. So after Friday the 20th? You will have wished that you took the standard woman role, just like in the 50s because I'm going to beat you black and blue and before you say it-whatever it is that you think you have that can beat me? You might want to go to the learning tree and learn differently because I can ace anything that you feel you have me beat at. But hell Alyssa, who's to say that you will even truly get this matchup-I may decide to be incredibly generous and make sure that you are stuck in the woman's division elsewhere because in legacy wrestling? This is my yard, this is my world and within my world-you will be put where I put you and there's nothing you can do about it."
Shaking his head from side to side, he knows full well that Alyssa will not take that sitting down.
Drew, "So learn to love it Alyssa because after Friday the 20th? You'll be nothing more than a footnote in legacy wrestling and why? Because you thought it would be cute to challenge the biggest dog in the yard, the top of the food chain and just like natural selection-you were never strong enough to survive."
Standing up from the table, he gives the camera one last smirk before turning around and walking over to a black haired woman giving her a kiss on the cheek. Taking his lunch from the woman, he then exits the house to head to work as this episode of leave it to Stevenson is officially over.
