2014.06.14: PWN - LEGACY - It's Always Been Our Time

"Heh, three decades of failure.. wrapped up in five stupid letters."

Scribbled across a piece of white paper was the name "LOZIO."

"If it isn't old man Rocco, it's Miles and Dante running their mouths about success-- and their lack of experience with it."

Standing in the center of view was the OTHER Treborn LEGACY had signed recently, Derek.. but better known as Ripper. Earning his nickname due to his passionate work ethic and his ability to turn the invisible switch on to 'Rip Mode' to get cruel and punishing, Derek and Eli are the closest of the 'new era boys' and make one hell of a tag team. Each approach the ring in a totally different manner, Ripper is strong and will use his suplexes to cripple you, Prince will use his agility and speed to dazzle, then knock you down and out with shot after shot.

"So Dante Lozio, The New Era Bull as he's called himself recently.. that's funny. Almost as funny as The Golden Shower Warrior Miles. It seems like both of you have a knack of getting yourselves into problems in which you have zero way out of. I mean it'd be easy to point and laugh at how desperate you boys are to taste even a fourth of the winning ways we've been blessed with but in all honestly? It's sad.. it's a sad ordeal. Under any other circumstances maybe we'd be charitable but when you're supposedly rivals with MY family, there's no time for that. All there's time for, is wrecking, destroying and totally crushing what's left of your broken ass, half-made 'legacy' that your father tried so hard to put on the map."

The piece of paper that read his opponents last names soon found itself crumpled and thrown over his shoulder. Ripper was a pretty imposing figure, he had wide shoulders and massive hands. A gym rat, he also had a pretty big upper body, his arms were a good 18 to 19 inches, he was definitely a brick house in terms of power.

"Prince said it best, you two won't reign anything. Not because you're not skilled enough 'cause we all know that's not the case. Miles, we've been in this position before- you're a damn fine technical wrestler. Your mat ability is great but you're missing a key component.."

Ripper tapped his index finger across the right side of his head-

"The mind for it. You've never had a mind for the business. You're a good little soldier though, you do as you're told and you do a good job of it.. but that's all you are in the end.. a pawn. A pawns, they're the first pieces on a chess board to go. And Dante? Sure you've got the body, but you're another one that lacks a mind of his own. You two are so busy fighting for an honor that you've been made to believe exists that you're pissing away what you COULD be doing. Why curse yourself with that wretched last name? Why not develop another? You're not going to earn championships as a Lozio, you're just going to get a whole lot of disappointment."

The hatred between the two families ran deep, but the Treborns felt it was mainly the Lozio envy that fueled it. Despite King and Rocco coming to a treaty to allow  the families to work in California, the new generation looks down on that and doesn't bother honoring it. Ripper and Prince didn't look too highly on the treaty especially, seeing as Miles and Dante continually found ways to agitate them and make it hard to cope with. Why give the Lozios any attention OUTSIDE the ring when there was the opportunity to smash them and crash their 'legacy' in the ring come Friday the 20th?

"Needless to say, we're going to walk into the Carson Community Center next week Friday and we're going to do EXACTLY what put us on the map in the first place.. wrestle. You won't find two better wrestlers in this company than Prince and myself and a whole new generation of fans from OUR state will see that. Maybe we don't have the clout that our Uncle King has, but we damn sure have the ability.. the drive and the heart and determination. There's little to question when it comes to us and achieving what we set out to gain, and there's NO question in the fact that on Friday.. as history has proved time and time again, Treborn kicking Lozio ass isn't just a nice little tidbit is a STAPLE in California Professional Wrestling history!"

Shooting the camera a glare for a second, Ripper then let off a wink all as the camera faded to black.
