TOKYO, JAPAN -- Unknown Original Date of Filming

"Once bitten, twice shy-- it's a good way to explain how I feel about being kept captive here in Tokyo. I'd like nothing more than to be back in California-- my home, a home I share with assclowns that walk around with red and blue bandanas hangin' from their side pockets because they feel it brings a sense of comfort and pride. I'd much rather be in California with the traffic, with the smog. That's my life, as dysfunctional as it may seem.. I quite enjoy it."

Standing in front of a BEAUTIFUL sakura [cherry blossom] tree somewhere in Tokyo, just the image of Christian Othniel seemed to drain away what the tree had to offer in the sense of visual glory. How the flowers scattered across the ground-- how the pink popped in the camera, it was all taken away by Othniel who was seated at the base of the tree, a pair of stone-washed [black] denim jeans and a black wifebeater which showcased the multitude of ink he had scattered across his arms and neck.

".. I also enjoy the emotion I feel when I've got my boot pinned across someone's throat, the face they make when they struggle for breath, it's a thrill. How you can feel them scratch and pry away at your boot, foolishly thinkin' that they're going to be able to muster up enough strength with a second wind from being knocked-out cold. It's fun, I'd suggest you try it out sometime when you've got the opportunity."

The man that sat before the camera here was far different from the Christian Othniel that debuted back when a promotion in Grand Rapids, Michigan-- named Professional Wrestling Today, was at it's peak of popularity. Part of a faction named "Natural Selection", Christian Othniel was just another blue-chip, clean-cut prospect that never had the opportunity to break through the glass ceiling.. that was until he was lured by the promise of fame and fortune by his mentor- a man named Jacob Mitchell. Othniel's skills significantly improved through his alignment with the man affectionately nicknamed "The Infamous" and understood what the business was about-- but more importantly, how to establish yourself.

"This is my second trip to Japan-- the first was far more challenging and rewarding. This time, all I managed to secure was a Twitter account to kill time and a few bottles throw in my direction for reminding these people just who exactly their 'daddy' is with visual shots of Hiroshima and Nagasaki--"

Othniel paused and rubbed the tip of his right thumb across his nose.

".. I found it hysterical."

Now firing off a shrug, this was who he had become. The clean-cut image had be thrown to the side and in it's place the tattooed renegade stood. It fit him though, Othniel's perspective of things came clear when he left Michigan- did his first tour of Japan, came back to the states and was employed by Decaine over in Manhattan. The Innovative Revolution X allowed him to reinvent himself, it was a blessing. He was able to produce more edgy promos, he didn't have a filter on his thoughts and words. The man that was there now became that way, all because Decaine allowed him to do so. Many question Decaine's approach to the business but it's no secret that he's able to find the best in ANYONE and amplify it for the better of it all. In Othniel's case, by him being able to air his thoughts and feelings on an industry he felt was purposely trying to throw dirt on his head, he developed a mean-streak, and that mean-streak would be what people would fear the most out of him.

"They say that there's no place like home-- and I agree. For the first time since I was dumped into an orphanage and bounced from foster-home to foster-home, I truly understand it now.. I truly know what it means to miss home. California-- more importantly, the city of Los Angeles is where I was born and where I was raised-- LEGACY Wrestling is a hitch down the street in Carson.. I don't mind that. Anyone that's anyone knows that the South Bay Section of LA-- or Carson for the ignorant, is just another stomping grounds for guys like me-- guys that thrive during the heat of the moment."

The all-important yet seemingly unspoken quality of a great promotion, especially an independent one like LEGACY Wrestling was managing to capture local talent to give the fans a feel of 'home'. Despite bouncing through the United States as a professional wrestler-- the image changes, the attitude shifts-- the one thing that NEVER changed when it came to Christian Othniel was his undying loyalty to the place he was born and raised-- that of course, being Los Angeles, California. Despite not being the SUPER-MEGA name like Drew Stevenson with his countless World Championships-- Christian is a local, and Californians respect that.

"As loyal as I am to where I'm from, let's not get it confused.. I don't 'represent' the people there.."

Letting a smirk cross over his face, Christian shook his head a few times.

"Because the fact of the matter is, the people who I call 'peers' are nothing more than a bunch of savages. Touting guns, shooting sorority houses.. whhaaatttt? Who does that? Do you hear on the news about someone going around shooting Columbia in New York? Or planning a massacre over at DePaul in Chicago?! I know I've been away for a while but it's pathetic how close to the bottom we are-- this isn't Detroit or Phily it's LOS ANGELES! So you know how I'll 'represent' LA? You know how I plan on restoring a sense of order? I'm going to weed out the weak-- the feeble, the people who contribute to nothing. Consider it a 'purge'-- a purge to better MY home. I don't care if you're a fan or if you're part of the roster.. LEGACY Wrestling is going to be the canvas that I paint my masterpiece on-- with the blood and dreams of the purged."

There was a sick-- twisted look in CO's eyes as he beamed a glare into the camera.. Something unseen from him before.

".. Drew Stevenson? Scotty Addams? This isn't Grand Rapids, boys. There's no Jonathan Brooks to stop me from finishing what we started years ago. When I said I enjoy pressing my boot against someone's throat and watching the breath leave their body- I'm looking at you two. Being in the shadow of The Infamous used to bug me, so I decided that I needed to do something about it.. and breaking careers is what seems to be the solution."

Othniel tilted his head back and replaced the smirk that was crossed over his face with a smile.

".. I now do things *my* way, and my way isn't the path of a White Knight or a hero-- I'm not a role model, I know I have malice intent.. but that's what makes me.. me. LEGACY Wrestling.. Fans-- Wrestlers.. Anyone associated with the product, they're gonna see that there's only one way to handle things to ensure my success--"

Bringing both hands out, Christian clenched his fists and put them together-- side-by-side all as he shot the camera a chilling glare..

"And that's through.. Evil Ways."

Holding his fists up for a few seconds longer-- before he could drop them down to the side the camera's feed cut to static. The guy he once was, the happy-go-lucky-- face-palming jokester, he was gone. In his place stood a man with a SERIOUS chip on his shoulder that felt like he needed to attack the biggest and best to get his point across. Without a doubt, Drew Stevenson is the biggest name LEGACY has managed to secure, and it just so happened that Drew and Christian had a [sorta] connected history. Stevenson's mentor is the FATHER of Christian's-- the rivalry to prove who the better pupil between the two was would definitely have ramifications that'd rock The Mitchell Family Tree. Christian Othniel's approach, despite how dark and twisted it seemed had to be respected as he wasn't going to simply talk- he was going to show you how good he is and what he's able to do.. Even if it meant pulling out ALL the stops through.. of course, the means of traveling and utilizing the eight letters-- two words tattooed across his knuckles. Evil Ways-- it was a way of life.
