The belief in mastering Vicissitude is that you might one day evolve, to become something superior in every way. However, a great fear exists among us, which consists of loosing what you look like and never recovering that original appearence. That mentality is wrong. A greater fear should exist in loosing your identity. The moment, when you forget, what is a mask and what is your face.
What its like to be Vera. Watch the following video at your own discretion. [Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time ~ Panic! At The Disco]I have been overwhelmed by the beauty of America's lies. To buy into the idea that I am only a consumer is disturbing. However, I find the goods wonderful and addicting. Shame that nothing is built to last. It's all a temporary high which grows boring.
You have been granted immortality and the first thing you want to do is pledge service to another society based off a ponzi scheme? They have a class system. They don't tolerate fledgeling vampires in any supportive manner. Being in the Camarilla is like going to American Highschool and never growing out of it. I'm sorry, but I'm past vampire college and realistically trying to enjoy retirement. I don't have time for you or your pamphlets.
So angsty and destructive. Most come from trouble backgrounds. But their ideals are noble. They want to break the chains of Jyhad by fighting those who oppress them. Which to a degree is falling into the very bonds of slavery they wish to break. If you don't know what you are fighting for. Why are you fighting? For me. The Sabbat is freedom from Tyranny. Most don't even realize how to use their freedom once its been acquired. That's the true shame. Watch me if you want a lesson.
I understand rebellion. I understand war. I've grown up with it and known it all my life. Do not fault me, for wanting to see something more in this world then its own destructive tendencies. I am not who you desire me to be. I will not jump through your hoops over spilled blood. Like a grown adult. I will take care of myself. Maybe you should do the same instead of picking fights with other people who are likely idiots and willing to die over their irrational thoughts.
