Formerly known as the Clayton Riggs Plantation, this is a relic from the days of slavery.  This farm is now mostly tended by immigrants from Mexico.  There is a history of cruelty here, but the New Mistress is from New Orleans and not connected to the old family.  The plantation house used to be open to tours and brought in a good revenue from this.  Since becoming the Sweetheart Plantation, it is no longer open to the public, but the cultivation of a rich crop of tobacco continues.
