He works out of a small clinic rather than a large hospital, and has been known to ease up on insurance requirements for those struggling to pay the bills. For the Kithain, he offers the services of his Heather Balm cantrip free of charge, regardless of political affiliations.
Without Borders: Richard spent 20 years in the Middle East as a member of Doctors Without Borders. He speaks fluent French and Arabic, and was noted for his fierce devotion to his patients, regardless of what side of the conflict they may have been on.
