Veronica "Ronnie" Varona was born in Corpus Christi, TX on May 31st, 1993. She was the only daughter to Juan and Maria Varona. She lived a normal life, as much as one can expect in a World of Darkness. She graduated with honors from King High School in the spring of 2011.

She left Texas to enroll at the University of California - Los Angeles in the fall of 2011. And in four short years, she earned a Bachelors of Science in Cybernetics. In the fall of 2015, she was accepted into the Solomon H. Snyder Department of Neuroscience at John Hopkins University. She defended her thesis and graduated in the spring of 2018.

After spending a couple of years in Maryland, she returned to California to further her career in the field of neuroscience by working at Neuralink, a neurotechnology company working on neural prosthetics! When she's not in her laboratory, working on hybrid Bayesian signal extraction (HBSE) algorithms, you can find her enjoying the beach, rollerskating on the boardwalk, or enjoying a glass of moscato or sangria.
