| Fragile heart, iron faith. Artura's belief in God and the foundations of the Mother Church is their guiding light in the shadows of a world they cannot understand. Highly responsive and eager to please, they gladly cooperate with anyone espousing the catholic faith, and take the advice of clergy with intense sincerity...and dogmatic execution.
Do not be afraid. A struggling painter, Artura claims to portray the Angels as they truly appear, not the sanitized and cherubic beauties of mainstream church art. Commissions and patronage are gladly welcomed, but be careful what you ask for.
Trust. Inexperienced and naive, they crave direction and understanding. Easily frightened, but just as easily seduced by promises of tutelage and indulgence; with secrets of their own that even their mistress is not aware of.
Pain is sin leaving the body. For such an insufferably pure and holier-than-thou brat, Artura has a few unresolved vices of their own. It's not sadomasochism, it's flagellation!
Unconditional Love. For whatever reasoning, Artura's loyalty to Champagne is almost unshakeable. They'd never betray the trust she places in them, but without her guidance, they are easily intimidated and rarely know what to say or do around strangers.
Some conditions may apply. Something has happened to split 'childe' from adoptive sire, and they are now regularly seen at the heel of Monsieur Farai. Whatever it is that occurred between them, Artura refuses to speak of it.
Consecration. They've taken an interest in a ruined old chapel downtown, expressing interest to Latona and Champagne in restoring the house of God to its former glory. A pity their allowance doesn't cover heavy construction, but if someone were to lend a little charity...
