There are a number of landmarks within the Amberwylds that should be noted as specific places that are known to explorers and travelers alike.

- Berrywick Port: A small port town on the Ember Sea under the Floating Islands above. It's accessed by a narrow trail that leads down from the Shard Coast.
- Skyreach: Skyreach is a small holding located on the largest of the Floating Islands.

- Landing: Identified by the broken remains of an old stone bridge that must have connected the Floating Islands to the coast at one time.
- Ember Sea: Sometimes called the Sea of Embers, it is the Western Sea off of the coast of the Amberwylds.
