Stephen White Mountain/Overview

Publicly, Stephen of the White Mountain is a pureblooded member of the Kumeyaay tribe who has spent all of his life on the La Mesa Reservation in California, and on reaching his 21st birthday, has taken it upon himself to spend a couple of years out in civilization before returning home to the people, to stay in touch with the world around them.

In reality, Stephen of the White Mountain is a completely fictitious name given to a wolf born in 2011 who went through his First Change in 2015 and found himself as one of the Garou. Tribal elders helped manufacture a completely fictitious human name and have him added to the registered list of members of the Kumeyaay tribe, but this is a paper thin veneer over an identity that simply does not exist. Any serious inquiry into 'who the hell is Stephen White Mountain?' is going to poke through it like tissue paper and find there's nothing behind it.

As one of the Wendigo, Stephen understands he cannot 'hide' on the reservation and expect Garou in other areas to carry on the fight with the Wyrm - the Wendigo must see past how they were treated by the invading europeans and step up. To this end, he's found himself in Prospect and has even packed up with an eclectic assortment of wolves and kin, with the hope that the diversity will have much to teach him, and that the variety will make them all stronger.
