Record: 1 - 0

Wayne... Wayne... Wayne...

[Phoenix shakes his head in disgust as we just finished seeing the promo that he cut. Phoenix looks to his wrist as though there should be a watch there, but there is nothing as he pretends to tap on where the hands would be.]

Cutting it a bit close, eh? Decided that you both wanted to join in this week's festivities? Good! So you decided to finally speak up, and multiple times in one day? Good, I am glad you finally decided to say something. You were training all week... great to hear. Ian and myself would not want anything less. Let's go ahead and start from the beginning and make sure I cover all of the points that you spoke about. You spoke about Ian and his own promo... good, that is between you and him. I do not need to stick up for him, nor does he for me; we are equals and we fight together as a team. He can handle his business, and I can handle mine. That is how a team works well together, we do not need to make up for our partner as we have the trust in each other and know that we can count on each other. Teaming for three years gives you experience, but that does not equal talent... or skill.... or even the passion that I have for this business. Let me put it like this, have you ever heard of Second basemen Eddie Collins? Probably not. He had more experience in the MLB than most people, he played for 24 years. He had more experience that most people in the sport, yet, names like Jimmie Foxx, Rogers Hornsby, and Shoeless Joe Jackson are the some of the most recognizable names from the years that he played. You and Edwards have been a tag for three years? Great, glad to hear it. Ian and I have a mutual respect and drive that makes up for any lack of experience.

We have the makings of a powerful force here in LEGACY, and that said the idea that I would consider turning my back on him makes no sense. If you saw last week, I offered my services to him. I had already beaten him in our match, so what would the point of screwing him even further be? If I was out to climb the ranks, I would have beaten him and moved on. I saw a great opponent and someone that earned my respect, and we both had a common enemy in WASTE. The thought that I would turn on Ian, as wrong as it is, would not even make sense if it were the truth. You are trying to drive a wedge between the two of us and we both know that there is nothing to worry about. We have each other's backs, and that is nothing that concerns us.

[Phoenix grabs hold of the camera and steadies it on his face, and he seems more focus now than ever]

I am a rip off of other superstars? Obviously you don't do your research or pay attention to your opponents at all, and that is fine. I could just as the same sit here and state that you are just like any other loser, requiring your 'handler' to pull off wins for you. See the thing is, Wayne, is that win or lose, I do it without cheating. I let my skills achieve my success or allow them to hand me a defeat. I live and die upon my own self, not based upon outside interference or weapons. You say that Steen won't get involved or be at ringside, but we will see how that goes. I don't believe it, so I hope that you prove me wrong. Ian and myself want to beat the two of you fair and square. You talk about talent... how do you know what talent I do or do not have? Have you seen my matches in Toronto? Have you seen my Iron Championship matches in TWC? You state that you are more talented than me? You can believe what you want... see the difference between us is that you talk about how much "better" you are than me, whereas I simply talk about something I know, and that is how talented I truly am. I am not stating that I am better than you, I am simply stating that because I know how skilled and talented I am that I have what it takes to lead my team to victory. And I do hope that you stick to your words and give us the greatest fight ever, I would not want to have it any other way. And I love the fact that you have to point out that you are two of the biggest stars... in my book, true stars do not need to announce it. It is already known, chump.

[Phoenix cracks his neck and continues to lay into the competition]

And as far as you go Steen, maybe you need to look at where on the card your guys have been. They look to have been non-Main Event matches. So keep on running at the mouth, chump. Call us mid-carders or low-carders, I don't care. I am here to prove myself, and I don't expect things to be handed to me. I expect to work my way up the ladder. I enjoy hard work. And the fact that you say statistically, but again, what do you know about me? What do you have to say about my accomplishments? You do not know them, nor do I need to rattle them off like some sort of egotistic asshat. What have you done lately? Legacy has been around for two cards... TWO SHOWS.... I am not a math genius, but that would be a small sample size. So let's leave stats out of this, Rich. You stay the fuck out of the match, and you will see that Ian and I, a couple of "misfits", will show what a true tag team looks like. Williams and Edwards are nothing more than the run of the mill, win at whatever cost including cheating, forgettable talent that makes their way from company to company. Go ahead and run off at the mouth all day, I am not here to get a crowd pop, I am not here to claim to be the 27 time Douche Bag Champion of Company X, nor am I here to give you empty words with promises to "Make you tap" or "Snap your ankle". I am a man of actions, not words. So let's cut the shit, and get into the ring at Break on Through. Such a fitting title, since Ian and myself will be able to Break on Through your little team and focus on a team like WASTE. I won't look past you two though, because I know better. I am going to bring everything I have, just as I do week in and week out. I am putting it all on the line, including my body. There is nothing that is holding me back from making this match memorable; let I brag to make our match the best on the card. Maybe we can make the higher ups notice what they have with Ian and myself after pulling an important 'W' over Williams and Edwards. Edwards... let me address him for a moment here

[Phoenix tilts his head to the side a bit and gives a smirk]

So Edwards is the best in the company, and he is disgusted? Good, chump. Be disgusted. If I were you, I would be disgusted as well. Being a part of that team, I wouldn't know how to come to my job and not vomit in the ring at how pathetic I was. And I am glad that you are proud of your win... *clap* *clap* *clap*. GREAT win! I don't care whether you won or not last night, but at least have some confidence in yourself there, bud. Even if your opponent showed up last week, you would have "probably" won. I don't know about you, but I speak in terms of winning and confidence. You might call me arrogant, but that is a fine line between arrogance and confidence. If I was arrogant, I would make all of these claims *cough* *cough* about being the best whereas being confident I actually can back it up. Last week, I backed it up, just ask Ian. And this week, we will both show you what confidence we have. And I am glad to be on your radar, because after we walk out of the ring the winners I do not want you to say anything about losing because you overlooked us or weren't prepared. I want to get that ONE... TWO... THREE... without any debate from you. At the end of the day, I am glad that you two finally decided to speak up, albeit mere days before the actual card. Training, jerking each other off... whatever you two decide to call it, we made ourselves known throughout the week and you went ahead and hid wherever you were. If someone was calling me out, I would stand up for myself and shut them the hell up... I wouldn't have waited until the last minute, but than again that is the different between you and me.... you call yourself a winner, whereas I am actually a winner...

[Phoenix pushes the camera to the side and walks away with the scene fading to black]
