You proved a worthy progeny, a level headed vampire, and a delightful companion for the nights to come. Grow, for you already made me proud. Also... Only you can call me whore and live.

• Sparrow My packmate. You search the Azhi Dahaka, and even if you're not of the blood, I shall help you. You did me great honor when you joined the Menagerie, and I shall repay you in kind.

• Vera Delightful sister. We used to share so much: name, blood, faith. Things have changed, but you must know that my undying love will not falter. I can only hope that your tenure under our Archbishop can do you all the good I wasn't able to provide.
