He came from the North Georgia mountains and spent much of his young life growing up in a cabin. With his USMC father often absent, Lleu was occasionally looked in on by a reclusive Uncle. When he was old enough, Lleu went to Officer Candidate School and become a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps like his father before him. He served in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Southern Philippines, then departed the USMC with the rank of Captain after his father passed away.

In Atlanta, Donnachaidh took care of his ailing mother. He was hired and sent for training with the Atlanta Police Department to became a Patrol Officer. Two years later after his mother died, Lleu sought a new start. He transferred to the Prospect Police Department in California. He had no idea that was the beginning of both the love of his life and the greatest nightmare. Insanity slowly engulfed him and Lleu's world turned inside out... until as a Lost Cub, he suffered a very late First Change and become Garou.
