You might try then, as I did, to find a sky so full of stars it will blind you again. Only no sky can blind you now. Even with all that iridescent magic up there, your eye will no longer trace constellations. You'll care only about the darkness and you'll watch it for hours, for days, maybe even for years, trying in vain to believe you're some kind of indispensable universe-appointed sentinel, as if just by looking you could actually keep it all at bay. It will get so bad you'll be afraid to look away, you'll be afraid to sleep.

With such stories where does one view the start? Was it when my brothers and sisters were given watch over this world's creation. Was it when we were first inspiring the first mortals to create beauty.. music, art, prose.. Or perhaps it was when our love for mortals began to outshine our love for the heavenly father. We perhaps were the first to feel the draw, the need to rebel, to cast away the rules that were placed upon us to be closer to those who we had watched over since they first were born of the fabrics of creation.

For me my story before I began to first feel the call for sedition within my veins, within my heart and mind. Some of my brethren from the other choirs they viewed us as lucky, to be able to inspire the hearts of men and watch over them. But in the end it was what led me to not so much as fall as casually saunter downwards. The need became too great in the end, the desire to be closer to those we had guided and molded.
