When reversed, the Ten of Swords represents an old situation which ended poorly.
You are still carrying around your wounds from past tragedies and as a result you are unable to let go.
You must bring forth the memories of that old situation and deal with them, although it may cause you great pain.

Death is often thought to be the end of all things, but it is, in fact, a card of transformation.
It represents the end of a situation and a transformation of the self into something new.
Death often brings sadness, but it is also a chance to cleanse yourself and for a rebirth of the spirit.
The only thing that is certain about Death is that what you had before is ending, and something new will replace it.
