Freeman/Hooks

• Santería: Freeman is a practicing Santero, who maintains an ile in a townhouse in La Mesa Penitencia in Tijuana. He makes his services available to the community (at night, anyway).

• Dedicated Follower of Fashion: Freeman has taken up fashion as a hobby, because when you're immortal it's all you can do to pass the time. He's cultivated contacts to keep him up to date on the latest styles in menswear.

• Miles of Smiles: For an unliving blood-drinking monster, Freeman puts on a happy face. He seems like the kind of guy you could maybe go to with your problems, and he'd listen and offer his help. He seems like that kind of guy...

• Company Man: Freeman is a veteran of the United States Army, and spent at least some of his life working in the intelligence field. He doesn't talk much about what he did, but he seems well-connected and well-informed when it comes to military and intelligence matters.

• Cuba: Though he's since taken up residence on the West Coast, the first few decades of Freeman's unlife took place in Cuba. He doesn't talk much about that, either.
