Adelita/Hooks

• Street Performer

Adelita spends some of her time "working" as a busker (not that she considers it working). She'll show up in a park or on a street corner, and sing, dance, or do a combination of both. Occasionally she'll remember to bring her guitar. Even more occasionally she'll remember to actually put down a hat to take tips or donations. For her it's far more about sharing the music and the dance than it is making any money. This is probably her most open hook; if you've been in Prospect for any time at all, you might have passed the woman on the corner doing her music. Feel free to come talk to me about it!

• Unity

Adelita is also the owner/operator of Unity, a shelter/soup kitchen/halfway house that operates out on the edge of the city. It's a non-profit, and seems maintained by donations rather than taking any government money, and as such, it's a pretty small and informal affair, usually not having more than a dozen people. But it leaves them free to set their own policies on how they operate. If your character is homeless/poor/strung out, it's entirely possible that they might have stayed a night or two at Unity, and if they haven't, they may at least know about it...word about places like that gets around on the street.

• Streetwise

People in the know about such things might know that the area around Unity (and possibly Unity itself?) is a good place to pick up drugs, as is Adelita herself sometimes. But only certain recreational sorts. Marijuana, X, and the like, she often has, or knows where to get. She doesn't truck in anything that one might consider "destructive" like crack, meth, and the like. The police have more or less given up on harassing her for it; the amounts she moves are small, and every time they've tried checking her, she never actually has it on her, or anywhere they look.

• Traditions

If you're a Tradition mage, you may know Adelita as an Ecstatic who's been in the city for several years. Rumor has it she's working on putting together a chantry out of Unity, but she's been a little close-lipped about the details as of yet. She supports an open discourse between the various Traditions, and is definitely a unifier rather than a divider. She's willing to talk to most anyone magical, and usually willing to lend a hand for little more than the promise of a future favor.

• Spirits

Lita's most accomplished with Spirit magic, and is fairly active in the Umbral scene in the area, working to try and keep things flowing harmoniously. If you're a spirit or deal with them often, you may have heard about her and her efforts.
