Constantine/Introduction

Constantine di Giovanni has spent a good portion of his life in a coma. After awakening suddenly, with no warning or explanation, he is thrust back into a world he no longer feels a part of.

Yarrahel is an angel of the Lord, one of the beings that created the very cosmos, who wrote the song that sings in the hearts of hunters as they chase prey. He put the burn in their muscles, the adrenaline in their veins, he carefully crafted the chemical cocktail of exhilaration and triumph that spurs on the evolution of greater and greater hunters. He put in place the basis of what later became human ambition. When he rebelled, he taught the men who followed Lucifer to hunt like the beasts and the angels, and they taught him to kill and to cheat like men.

Together, they fight crime.
