In the past, under 2nd Edition rules, Enchanting another pc was far easier. With C20 though, the rules changed. Taken from C20 (pgs. #460-463).

  • TEMPORARY ENCHANTMENT - A mortal (non-Changeling/Kinain) must be infused with enough Glamour to overcome their Banality Rating. This will last until his Glamour run outs, losing one point per day. When that ends, they return to the mundane world thinking they just were in a dream (or bad acid trip). (ex: If the mortal (non-Changeling/Kinain) has Banality 4, then 4 Glamour will enchant them for 1 day, 5 Glamour for 2 days, etc)

  • TREASURES - A mortal (non-Changeling/Kinain) will be enchanted if they touch a Treasure. This lasts only as long as they are touching it.

  • PERMANENT ENCHANTMENT - Known as the Ritual of Parted Mists, this requires Glamour from multiple Changelings to be infused into a mortal (non-Changeling/Kinain). A total of 20 points of Glamour is invested by the group of Kithain, a roll must be made by the leader of said group (who also spends more Glamour than any other participant). If successful, the mortal (non-Changeling/Kinain) will gain 6 points of Glamour (not dots on a +sheet) to be used. If they use them all, then they can /never/ be enchanted again by any means. More details can be found in the C20 book.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE - Use of Temporary Enchantment or Treasures can be done simply in a scene (use +lose glamour for temporary enchantment). Permanent Enchantment requires a +request with staff, rolls there, adding all participants, and should be RP'd out later if possible. It's a momentous event!

  • +enchant code - This is fixed! You can use it now and it will +lose for you with Glamour - you do not need to do it yourself.
