Dark Match
Nikki Venom Vs Akua
Akua has been on a bit of a losing streak but he's been taking it in stride, being new to the business he's taking it as a learning experience. Nikki Venom has had some rather explicit vignette's this past week but is becoming somewhat of a 'changed man' if you will. So here's a big test for both men. Nikki is looking for a strong debut and Akua is looking to get himself on the opposite end with a W here.
Women of Tradition Tag Team Contest
Farrah Farris & Heather Jones Vs Marisol James & Christine Nash
This is a debut tag team match for all 4 of these ladies. Heather and Christine were named as the other two participants and they find themselves on opposite teams, as Heather teams with Farrah who made her debut just staring down Xena Nex two weeks ago. The final participant is Marisol James who has been in negotiations with MSW for a while now and finally comes to Kansas City for her debut.
Singles Match
Bradyn Saint Vs Ian Windermear
Bradyn Saint didn't quite come up on the winning end of things two weeks ago but he looks to redeem himself as he takes on one of his fellow challengers for the new championship at Back to Basics in Ian Windermear. Windermear ditched on Leo Banks before he quit, which subsequently gave Windermear his spot in the championship match. But what roll will Matt Ward and Chris Williams, the other participants in said match, have?
Singles Match
USEF Debuts
We've seen USEF promos for the past few weeks, the "Yemen Submission Magician" accompanied by Larissa. And now at Unstoppable #11 he makes his debut. Who will be his unlucky victim?
Singles Match
Daniel Smart returns to action!
Word got released at US10 that Daniel Smart was coming back and he returns to action here at US11!
LeBroc Harris Invitational
LeBroc Harris Vs Chris Alans
Harris began his invitational with Chris Alans taking the first challenge. How will LeBroc Harris handle against "The Brick Wall" as he ventures on to prove he really is the best wrestler ever. Invitational matches can be won by Submission only.
Singles Match
TJ Bryce w/ Roman Gold vs James Peterson
TJ Bryce was seen with Roman Gold getting into Deacon Cash's face two weeks ago, teasing the idea of a handicap match at Back to Basics... that was until the 6'8", 280lbs Bobby Langford from LEGACY Wrestling stepped up to be his new partner. Now TJ Bryce steps into singles action with Roman Gold in his corner to take on a man that many could say almost beat MSW Champion, Bryce Manning in the US10 Main Event. So now he gets a chance to redeem himself.
Singles Match
Robert Garland w/ Travis Rech Vs Salman Van Dam
Robert Garland, one half of the tag team challengers with partner and enemy Frank Washington takes on Salman Van Dam. Sal has seemed almost instrumental in the destruction of the High Society, leading Windermear away from Leo Banks. If these two will continue to be a team only time will tell but never take Sal for granted, he can be quite the devious one. But Garland... when he's in the ring all he sees is Frank Washington and wants to smash their head in but if it goes there, Sal isn't afraid to brawl; being quite the hardcore wrestler. This match will be a brawl and nothing short.
Non Title
Marie Porter Vs Artemis Kaiser
Artemis found herself getting involved in Marie's contendership match two weeks ago getting Marie disqualified by striking Kat with the belt, only to strike Marie down moments later. Drew announced that Marie would be competing in a triple threat contenders match for the shot at the title after Back to Basics, and Artemis has been waiting to get Marie into the ring for a long time now. And Marie is known to have a bit of a vicious side in the ring as well, so one can only assume that as the co-main event, this match is going to be a tough one to beat.
MAIN EVENT
Bryce Manning & The Apocalypse Vs Peyton Von Licht, Luke Jackson & Johnny B.
Akua vs Nikki Venom
Bradford: I couldn't agree with you any more there, Smith! Tons of matches, and unfortunately one less because the man we've been seeing hyped over the past month, Usef, will not be able to be in attendance tonight! There were some Visa issues and he wasn't able to make it to the states so only time will be able to tell if or when we'll see him in the MSW ring!
Smith: Let's not forget that two competitors for the brand new championship that debuts in two weeks! And we're going to get even more exciting news about it because the new championship AND it's rules are unveiled here tonight!
Bradford: Oh it's going to be great, and we've got six beautiful and dangerous women competing tonight too! Four women make their debut in a tag team match, and then we've got Marie Porter taking on Artemis Kaiser in a non title! Daniel Smart returns, LeBroc Harris starts off his Invitational... so much going on I can barely contain myself! So how about we get started with the show?!
Smith: Sounds great to me!
Without warning the lights go black as the drum beat of Tevaka begins to play over the PA the lights flicker on and off with the beat, Akua emerges from the back pausing at the top of the entry way glancing to the left and then the right. Then he goes into the Haka Dance or Warrior spirit dance. Once complete he sprints to the ring sliding under the bottom rope ready to fight
Barbara Braman: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first from Honolulu, Hawaii weighing 250lbs… Akua!
Smith: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to our first match of the night as Akua looks to find his footing against Nikki Venom. Both men have a lot to prove as they look to advance up the ladder in MSW.
Bradford: These men just want to hurt each other, a psychopath and a sadist. The only thing missing is a bed of nails and a chalice of blood, this one could get extremely ugly.
Smith: Absolutely, one has to wonder how long it’ll take before these two men just throw the rules out the window.
Bradford: Well when you’re hungry to break into the business and reach the next level you do whatever it takes to put food on your table and advance your career. The referee has a long night ahead of him.
The sharp guitar chords of “Kickstart My Heart” by Motley Crue reverberate across the arena. The lights darken and spotlights switch to a variety of different colours to the beat of the song. The electric guitar, bass, and drums all make their presence known within the song. As the vocals come in, the curtain opens up and Nikki steps out to a mass of boos. A smirk across his face, he crosses his arms into an x in front of him before lowering his head and pulling arms out to the side. He walks down to the ring, a cocky swagger in his step; he stops short of the pads outside the ring and jumps in place for a second, before sprinting towards the ring and sliding in. He stands up, and walks to the nearest corner, quickly ascending it. He then lifts his arms in the air, throwing the same taunt he used before. He gets down and gets in the face of Akua talking trash as the referee has to get in between them.
As the bell rings both competitors dash out of their respective corners and begin exchanging a series of punches to each other. The brawling quickly makes its way around the ring as Akua backs Venom into the ropes only for Venom to quickly regain the upperhand as they reach the corner of the ring. Having the momentary advantage in this back and forth brawl Venom rains down with a flurry of punches as the referee quickly tries to call for a rope break.

Before the referee could count any further Akua shoves Venom back with authority much to the crowds delight. Venom looks a bit bewildered perhaps underestimating his opponent and takes a few steps backward towards the opposite corner as Akua darts after him! In the blink of an eye Akua was now the one throwing the heavy punches in the corner as the referee quickly shouts a verbal warning at Akua who simply pays it no mind.

Smith: Akua’s going to get himself disqualified if he doesn’t watch it.
Bradford: This is a straight up fight Smith, a drag em out brawl. Neither man has shown even the slightest regard or the rules, they’re battling for respect.
Smith: Neither man is going to do themselves justice though by getting disqualified though. It’s one thing to be passionate about your job but it’s another entirely to shoot yourself in the foot!
Bradford: Shoot yourself in the foot? Well you better take your foot out of your mouth Smith, honestly it’s nice to see Akua have an edge to him finally, something he’s been missing if you ask me.
The ref finally gets in between Akua and Venom as the crowd clearly isn’t pleased and they’re very quick to voice their displeasure.
Akua quickly shoves the ref out of the way and grabs Venom by the hair and hits a vicious headbutt, and then another followed by a third! As Akua looks to take advantage of a stunned and dazed Venom he backs up as he calls for the Avalanche (Stinger Splash). The referee however isn’t quite aware as he checks on Nikki Venom to see if he’s coherent enough to continue the match.
Smith: Nikki Venom appears to be on dream street now, the stiff headbutts of the Hawaiian Islander had the sheer force behind them to crack a case of coconuts.
Bradford: Now come on that’s just a stereotype! Just because he’s from an island doesn’t mean his rock is made of stone, Samoans and Hawaiians have feelings too you know! Be a Star Smith!
Smith: Would you want to take a headbutt from Akua?
Akua charges at full speed at Venom looking for that Stinger Splash only to stop dead in his tracks near the turnbuckle as Venom drags the referee in front of him to use as a human shield!
Smith: Absolutely despicable! The referee was merely doing his job and he plays possum long enough just to use him as a human shield!
Bradford: By any means necessary Smith; that was a veteran move by The Devil’s Saint! You don’t have to like it but it’s definitely effective.
Venom grins as he exchanges some trash talk with Akua taunting him, begging him to attack him. Akua looks frustrated but knows there’s nothing he can do as long as the referee is held hostage. The referee threatens to disqualify Venom if he doesn’t let go and he obliges with a shrug and a middle finger gesture directed at his opponent. Akua is quick to pursue his opponent once more but Venom quickly ducks under the top and middle ropes holding his arms up as the referee quickly intercepts the Hawaiian Savage.
Bradford: Nikki Venom just has a special quality of getting under your skin and honestly that’s made me an instant fan of the guy, telling it like it is. He’s throwing Akua off his game and he’s going to be prone to making a few mistakes; work smarter, not harder.
Smith: Abusing the rules certainly helps; he knows at this point Akua has him beat so he has to resort to desperation tactics.
Bradford: The ends always justify the means Scoutmaster Smith, remember that!
Akua having his patience run thin moves the referee to the side to grab Venom only to get gouged straight in the eye! Venom smelling the blood in the water quickly darts out and plants him to the mat with a DDT. Venom controls the next several minutes of the match by keeping Akua grounded, keeping him off his feet where he can do the most amount of damage.
Smith: Nikki Venom is doing his best to neutralize the stand-up brawling of Akua by keeping him on the ground.
Bradford: He has the presence of a ring veteran Smith and he’s certainly not a one trick pony, now we’re seeing the technical side of The Devil’s Saint.
Venom takes a moment to taunt to the fans wearing a smug grin on his face as he points to Akua.
Nikki Venom: Is this your hero?!
Venom slaps Akua in the face several times to add insult to injury before kicking him square in the face. Venom drops to a knee as he continues to talk trash at the fans, all the while placing his knee and his shin over the throat of Akua. The referee quickly sees this and quickly brings it to Venom’s attention who pleads innocence and ignorance of the blatant choke.
Smith: Come on there’s no need for that!
Bradford: And why not? Maybe Akua should’ve been more respectful leading up to this match!
Smith: Respectful? That’s a load of crap, Nikki Venom is nothing more than a bully!
Bradford: Well why don’t you get in there and stop him you bleeding heart?
The referee having enough calls for the choke to be released and starts the standard 5 count.

At the last possible second Venom releases the choke and stands up as he again pleads his case to the referee. The referee has none of it however and threatens to disqualify him if he takes liberty with the rules again. Venom however gets in the referee’s face and shouts at him, causing the official to throw up his arms and back up, pointing to the referee uniform. By the time Venom finally takes his eyes off the referee Akua was back to his feet with a vengeance. Akua nearly takes Venom’s head off with a roaring clothesline, Venom quickly makes it back up to his feet however only to be hit with another clothesline. Venom trying to gather his wits gets back up to his feet and ducks the third clothesline, only for Akua to catch him with a stiff polish hammer to the chest. Akua drags his thumb across his throat signaling for the end as he picks Venom up and goes for the Savage Cutter, but Venom shoves Akua forward and right into the referee!
Smith: The ref is out!
Akua still looking to finish this match grabs Venom in The Savage Death Grip looking to choke the life out of him. The crowd roars in cheers as Venom gasps for air but quickly turn to boos when he goes for the low blow.
Smith: Oh come on, a low blow?!
Bradford: It’s 100% legal if the referee doesn’t see it!
Venom seizes the opportunity and hits the Homicide by the Dashboard Light (Front-flip Snapmare Driver) sending Akua unceremoniously to the mat. Venom drags the referee by his shirt to Akua and goes for the pin, instructing the referee to count.

Tag Teams Galore
Two New Women of Tradition
A highlight package can be seen running featuring Anica Townsend and Lucy Wylde competing in various matches with footage drawn from the independent circuit. In a split screen both women could be seen standing in a empty room with the spotlight focused solely on them as a graphic flashes across the center of the screen.

Smith: And the best Women’s division in all of professional wrestling just keeps getting richer!
Bradford: We all win with this double feature I can’t wait to see what they can do in the ring!!
Smith: Absolutely, but now it's time to debut four more in our first Women of Tradition contest of the night, a tag team match!
Farrah Farris & Heather Jones Vs Marisol Hawkes & Christine Nash
All four women of tradition were in the ring at first before it was decided that Marisol would start the match with her opponent Farrah. They locked up in the center of the ring with Farrah getting the upperhand pushing Marisol into the corner hitting her with chops and punches.
Smith : Farrah is taking it to the debuting Marisol with those knife-edge chops.
Bradford : It is angering Marisol though.
Smith : Reversal by Marisol who dishes out some wicked chops of her own.
Marisol grabs Farrah's hand and flings her to the opposite corner following her in to hit her with a flying forearm in the corner. Stunned Farrah stumbles out of the corner. Marisol hits the ropes to connect with a baseball slide kicking Farrah out of the ring. She quickly follows her outside and grabs Farrah to fling her against the guardrail but Farrah counters and throws Marisol against the side of the ring. Farrah climbs into the ring slowly making her way over to her corner to tag in Heather.
Smith : Farrah really needed to make that tag to catch her breath after that stumble.
Bradford : Marisol can use one as well.
Smith : Christine is reaching for the tag.. And she gets it!
Christine rushes into the ring to collide with Heather in the center of the ring. Heather with her brawling nature soon gets the upperhand on Christine but misses wildly with a punch only to have herself be dragged across the ring by a beautiful deep arm-drag. She comes in wildly after scrambling off the mat to be dragged across the ring again. Taking a deep breath she takes a moment before locking up in an collar an elbow tie up.
Smith : Heather quickly found out the veteran Christine is not someone to rush at.
Bradford : The beautiful women of tradition are showing their skills tonight.
Smith : Heather is pushing Christine towards her teams corner and begins to stomp her down to the ground.
Heather grabs Christine out of the corner into a short-arm clotherline near the center of the ring she makes her way to the top rope she taunts the crowd with her hand making the middle three fingers into a W before tapping her heart landing a beauty of a elbow drop right on Christine's chest.
Smith : The Angel's touch! That's Whisper's move! She's been Heather's mentor the past few months and it's showing!
Bradford : Come on Christine kick out!
Heather goes for the pin
Kick out by Christine just as the hand of the referee comes down for the three.. Heather goes to grab Christine again but gets hit with a jaw buster making her stumble back giving Christine the opening to tag in the now fresh Marisol. In the meanwhile Heather had made a dive roll to her corner to tag in Farrah who storms into the ring hot of the tag..
Smith : Farrah comes storming into the ring spearing Marisol to the mat beginning to brawl in the middle of the ring.
Bradford : That Farrah has some fire in her! I like it!
Marisol manages to push Farrah off and scrambles to her feet only to get stunned by a spinning heel kick. Farrah is sizing her up and hits the ropes..
Smith : Farrah comes flying in and.. The blonde blowout!
Bradford : Out of nowhere! Damn her head bounced of the mat.
Farrah goes for the cover..
Barbara: Your winners... Heather Jones and Farraaah Farriiisss!
The bell rings and Heather joins Farrah as their hands are raised by the referee as we take a quick commercial break.
New Championship Unveiled
Smith: Welcome back folks! If you're just joining us, that was an amazing Women of Tradition tag team match we just had, Bradford! And a very successful debut for the team of Heather Jones and Farrah Farris!
Bradford: Absolutely! Even though Marisol Hawkes and Christine Nash didn't pick up the win, you can't take anything away from these two beauties and you know that they're going to be future staples for the division here in Missouri State Wrestling! But now it's the time I've been waiting for Smith! It's the unveiling of the BRAND NEW Championship that Bradyn Saint, Chris Williams, Matt Ward and Ian Windermear will be competing for in just two weeks at Back to Basics!
The camera then comes in to the screen where lights start to flash, the MSW logo is shown but it starts to back away. The crowd is in a frenzy, you can't keep them quiet as they're just as excited as everybody else. As it backs further and further up we can now see the image and the words 'PURE 15 CHAMPIONSHIP" come across it.
"The MSW PURE 15 Championship, a championship unlike any other that you will see in the world of Professional Wrestling Today. Four men compete for it at Back to Basics to crown the first ever champion, but with this new special championship come a strict set of rules that the contenders must abide to while competing for it.
o4. No Over the Top Rope will be allowed. This will result in an automatic disqualification.
These are the rules that all PURE 15 Championship matches will be contested under. In Missouri State Wrestling, you won't find anything like the others. Welcome... To The Alternative!"
Bradyn Saint Vs Ian Windermear
As both men stand in their respective corners, the referee signals for the bell as the match is underway. Starting off our action in a basic collar and elbow tie up, Ian gets in behind Bradyn with a nice waistlock and with one swift motion, he lifts him into the air and brings him down onto his stomach still keeping the waist lock applied.
Smith: Ian starting things off with the basics, you can never go wrong with old-school.
Bradford: I'll give you that one Smith, the basics are what innovated our business to what it is today and are still just as effective today.
Smith: I couldn't agree more with you Bradford, it's just strange to see us actually agreeing on something.
Bradford: Don't get used to it Smith!
Fighting to his feet, Bradyn grabs at the hands of Ian and begins to pry his iron like grip off of his abdomen. Eventually managing to pry his grip, Bradyn reaches out and grabs Ian by the top of the head and falls to the seated position with a jawbreaker as Ian clutches his jaw and stumbles around the ring. Having gotten to his feet, Bradyn hits the ropes and as Ian fully turns around-Bradyn hits him with a modified dropkick but instead uses his knees to strike Ian right in the chest area. As Ian hits the canvas hard, Bradyn quickly makes the cover as the referee drops down to make the three count.
Getting his shoulder up shortly before the three, Bradyn takes this time and begins heading up to the top rope. As Ian eventually turns around still holding his jaw, Bradyn jumps off but is caught in midair by Ian who hits a beautiful power slam bridging it into a pinfall.
Smith: That was a beautiful power slam by Ian!
Getting his shoulder up off of the canvas, Ian immediately applies a seated sleeper hold looking to slowly wear Bradyn down here. Reaching out. and trying to grab a hold of the bottom rope, he is too far away as his arm begins to drop. With the referee watching it drop, he lifts his arm up as it falls once. Stretching out his index finger to indicate that it has fallen once, he raises it a second time as it falls again.
Smith: One more time and this thing is over.
As the referee lifts it for the third and final time, it falls halfway down and then we see Bradyn's fist clinch as he begins getting an energy surge. Managing to fight to his feet, he begins throwing some very stiff elbows into the gut of Ian which causes him to release the hold. Quickly hitting the ropes, Bradyn returns with a beautiful flying clothesline which takes Ian right off of his feet. As Ian gets to his feet quickly, he is once again taken down by another flying clothesline as Bradyn has captured all of the momentum at this point in time.
Smith: Look at Bradyn go, he has turned the tide of this match almost immediately.
Bradford: That's what happens when you have a very quick arsenal like he does.
As Ian slowly gets to his feet, Bradyn quickly lunges in at him but is kicked right in the midsection which doubles him over. Placing Bradyn's head in between his legs, Ian grabs him by the waist and lifts him up for a huge power bomb, however, Bradyn uses his agility and manages to lean forward and push himself off landing on his feet and from out of nowhere, he manages to hit the velvet revolver which completely lays out Ian.
Smith: I can't believe what I just saw, that was a great counter by Bradyn-the velvet revolver and this match could very well be over.
As the referee signals for the bell, we hear the lovely Barbara Braman announcing the winner of this match.
Braman: The winner of the match, BBBRRRAAADDYYYNNNN SAIIIIIINT!!
With the fans on their feet, Ian has managed to roll over onto his knees as he holds the back of his head. Slowly getting to his feet, Bradyn extends his hand out and offers Ian a handshake out of respect. Looking around at the fans, they are all screaming yes repeatedly as Ian takes Bradyn's hand and shakes it firmly as the fans are going absolutely nuts.
Smith: Wait a minute, what are Williams and Ward doing out here?
Quickly entering into the ring, both Williams and Ward look to start fighting with Ian and Bradyn but before that can happen-we see about fifteen security guards dart into the ring to ensure that this brawl never happens.
Smith: Man, things are already heating up for the PURE 15 Championship!
Bradford: As well they should! This is a chance if you're not Bryce Manning to make your impact in MSW! And it's a Trophy, Smith! How much better than that can you get?!
Smith: I'm not sure, Bradford, but what I do know is that it's time to hear from Daniel Smart! I've been waiting two long weeks for this one!
He's Back
Charles Matias: Ladies and Gentlemen I’m here with the returning Daniel Smart. Now Daniel first of all I think everyone in MSW is happy that you’re back, well except Bryce Manning but I’ve got to ask. What’s going through your mind before wrestling your first match since Best of the Best?
Daniel Smart: You want to know what’s on my mind? Bryce Manning and the MSW Championship, that’s what my mind is focused on. Instead of facing me in our scheduled rematch I was injured in an “accident”, an “accident” that was fueled and motivated by malicious intent. I’ve heard Bryce Manning deny any responsibility but it doesn’t take a genius or a detective to figure out that he had all the motivation to take me out in an attempt to take the easy way out. You should’ve finished the job Bryce Manning, because now that I’m back my sights are locked on you and one way or another I’m coming for the MSW Championship. You’ve made this personal, and I won’t rest until I’ve knocked you off your throne!
Charles Matias: Thank you for your time Daniel, we’ll be back after a commercial break!
Daniel Smart vs Jorge Santos
Barbara Braman: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Already in the ring, from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico weighing 175lbs… Jorge Santos!
"El Perro" by Cilantro is playing as Jorge Santos hops back and forth in place waiting for his opponent.
Smith: Jorge Santos has shown a lot of grit and resolve thus far in MSW but tonight he has a hell of a challenge awaiting him. Daniel Smart had a rematch signed with Bryce Manning after his defeat at Best of the best but after a backstage attack at Unstoppable 7. Now he’s healthy and looking to get back on track and it all starts tonight.
Bradford: It’s unfortunate that he was injured but this witch hunt against Bryce Manning has to stop! Everyone including Daniel Smart are quick to point the finger at OUR MSW Heavyweight Champion! He stood up for Tommy Angel but of course everyone is quick to forget that!
“Get Lucky” by Daft Punk starts playing as Daniel Smart walks out, receiving loud cheers. Daniel takes a moment to admire the crowd, then springs into the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope.
Barbara Braman: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 205lbs… please welcome back… DANIEL SMART!
Daniel gets up and hops onto the middle rope, posing to the crowd. Daniel does this on the opposite ropes as well before dropping down and standing in the middle of the ring.
As the bell rings Daniel Smart comes flying out of the gate at Jorge Santos with a flying forearm smash wasting little time to kick things off. Santos is quick to make it back to his feet and goes or an armlock only for Smart to slip out and hit a lightning quick armdrag. Santos quickly tries to get up to his feet but is met by a swift kick to the chest by Daniel Smart. Smart unleashes a furious flurry of kicks to the chest as the crowd counts along.

Smith: Daniel Smart is showing he hasn’t lost a single step as he absolutely dominates this match in the early going.
Bradford: He’s looking to put Santos away quickly as he’s already looking for Ten Points early in the match.
Smith: He’s looking to send a message to Bryce Manning and you can be sure “The Architect” is watching.

Smart shoots a stiff roundhouse kick to the head of Santos as he slumps on the mat unceremoniously.
With a grin Smart backs up to the corner as the crowd claps with anticipation. Santos is very slow to get back to his feet as he was perplexed and overwhelmed by the offense of his opponent. As soon as Santos turns around Smart runs at him at full speed and connects with the Busaiku Knee Kick!
Smith: Knee-DS!
Bradford: I think he just killed Jorge Santos!
Smart quickly goes for the pin as the crowd counts along with the referee.

It's Always a Party!
YEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
"They like to call me Jay B and these are my Party Rockers!"
The music blares and Jay B and his crew have smiles and having a great time.
Jay B: And don't you worry, Kansas City, I'm coming back and the party is coming to YOU very soon! I'd say even Unstoppable soon! Because in Jay B land... it's...
LeBroc Harris Vs Chris Alans
The bell rang and LeBroc Harris stood across the ring from what could be one of his biggest challenges yet in “The Brick Wall” Chris Alans. There was a distinct size advantage and the crowd was surprisingly behind Alans. Harris wasted no time and ran right in at Alans with a quick dropkick that knocked him back into the corner.
Bradford: And we’re off, folks! This is the first edition of the LeBroc Harris Invitational where to back up that’s he as good as he says he is, Harris vows to only win by submission! And he’s got a heck of opponent in the Brick Wall. Now, I don’t know about you, Smith, but I can tell you one thing: my money is on the Brick Wall. I mean he’s not called the Brick Wall for no reason!
Smith: Well it could be because he doesn’t listen.
Bradford: He listens to himself all the time, Smith! And he’s gonna squash Harris like a bug! I mean don’t get me wrong, Harris is good, but he’s no Chris Alans!
Smith: Well two weeks ago, Harris made an open challenge for his Invitational because he swears up and down that he is the best wrestler in professional wrestling; claiming to be even better than David Van Dam or Drew Stevenson!
Bradford: I can see it.
Smith: Well… Harris right on the offense!
Keeping Alans in the corner with chops and kicks and elbows and all kinds of shots, Alans pushes Harris back and charges at him but is caught off guard with a big jumping enziguri that brought Alans to his knees. Harris hit the ropes and charged at Alans trying for a variation of the running knee but not quite able to get it as Alans grabbed the knee and stood to his feet, lifted Harris to his feet ready for some sort of a slam but while in the air, Harris is able to take his free knee and hit Alans in the head and dropped him back down to his feets. Harris grabbed hold of Alans’ arm and twisted it with a slam to the mat and Alans was back to his knees holding his shoulder. Harris ran to the ropes and with a big knee that he attempted earlier, to the back of Alans’ head he knocked him to the mat and he wasn’t moving.
Smith: Hate to say it, Bradford, but I think Harris is making short work of The Brick Wall here tonight!
Bradford: Of course you’d hate to say it! Harris is the man!
Smith: You were just against him not even five minutes ago!
Bradford: Lies and slander.
Smith: Lebon-ater! He’s got that bridged crossface chicken wing locked in and Alans isn’t moving! Harris could be conquering the Brick Wall here tonight!
And indeed he had the move locked in. With Alans on his back, Harris hooked the left arm around Alans’ back, his face cranked to the side with Harris’ right arm and he (Harris) Bridges over and Alans has no choice but to tap out.
Barbara: Ladies and Gentlemen…. your winner… LEEEBROOOC HAARIIISS!
Smith: Well he did it, Bradford, pretty decisively at that but it looks like Harris has the mic now!
HARRIS INVITATIONAL
LeBroc Harris: CHRIS ALANS WAS A CHUMP! YOU HEAR ME!? A CHUMP! JUST LIKE ALL OF YOU LOSERS!
LeBroc Harris: What I want is a REAL CHALLENGE! Thats why I want DANIEL SMART! I want Daniel Smart at Back to Basics! Your return tonight was alright, chump, but in two weeks I’m going to make you tap out because this should be MY SPOTLIGHT! IT’S MY TURN!
Harris throws down the mic and we cut to commercial.
TJ Bryce w/Roman Gold vs James Peterson
Returning from break and back to the ring "Fame" hits on the P.A and TJ Bryce comes through the curtain with Roman Gold walking backwards until the chorus kicks in . Once the chorus kicks in, TJ turns around and the camera zooms in. Pointing down to his Rolex he mouths "Time is money" and gives up that classic arrogant wink toward the camera.
Barbara Braman: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring accompanied by Roman Gold, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada weighing 212lbs… representing The Gentlemen’s Club..T….J…. BRYCE!
He continues his way down the ramp completely ignoring the fans and slides in the ring. Once in the ring we leans against a turnbuckle and waits impatiently for the match to start.
Smith: Welcome back to MSW Unstoppable, we’ve had an action packed night already with the return of Daniel Smart, several new debuts in a Women of Tradition tag team match and Nikki Venom vs Akua in addition to the announcement of the MSW Pure 15 Championship. Now for the second time in as many shows James Peterson looks to take on another Bryce, this time in TJ Bryce.
Bradford: You know they say second time’s the charm right? Of course not! He took Bryce Manning to the limit last Unstoppable but looking to rebound your fortunes at the expense of the Gentlemen’s Club isn’t a mistake I’d want to make. TJ Bryce is a very talented competitor in his own right and come on, he has Roman Gold in his corner! Those are bad odds to be staring down Smith!
Smith: That may be so but Bryce Manning was extremely lucky to escape with a victory, so much so that he still needed a handful of tights to do it after being mere seconds away from tapping out. James Peterson arguably was on cusp of inserting his name into the MSW Championship picture before Bryce Manning’s prayers were answered in a desperation reversal. James Peterson will be a name to watch in Missouri State Wrestling going forward.
The lights in the arena begin to dim as all of the audiences eyes fixate on the entrance ramp whilst Simply Unstoppable by Tinie Tempah begins to play through the PA system causing the audience to stand up on their feet and cheer in anticipation on the arrival of "The Emperor of Excellence", James Peterson. Emerging from the misty curtains is Peterson, who stands tall on the top of the entrance ramp smiling at the electric audience who chant his name as he nods his head approvingly.
Barbara Braman: And his opponent from Westminster, United Kingdom, weighing 203lbs James Peterson!
James Peterson takes his jacket off as he steps on the ring apron and .throws his jacket to the crowd before stepping inside the ring. After making sure both men were ready the referee calls for the bell to start the match.
As the match starts off both men tie up grappling the other in a show of technical ability as they manage to go hold for hold for the first few moments of the match in a fantastic display of chain wrestling. Peterson manages to come out ahead and controls the next several minutes of the match mixing in some shoot styled kicks and elbows with an array of holds and suplexes. Peterson looks to put this match in the books early with a sleeper hold but Bryce manages to escape certain disaster with a jawbreaker sending Peterson flying backwards to the mat. Peterson holds his jaw on the mat as he slowly sits up only to get hit with a low dropkick to the face by Bryce. Bryce keeps the foot on the gas pedal at Roman Gold’s behest as he repeatedly stomps on the face of Peterson before placing both feet on his face and pressing down on the top rope.
The referee quickly calls for a clean break and starts the 5 count.

Bryce breaks before the referee counted to 5 not wanting to risk a disqualification. Over the next few moments Bryce is in control as he continues to target the head of Peterson with a series of well-aimed strikes, suplexes, and holds that targeted the head and neck area. Peterson makes a late rally as Bryce has him locked in a sleeper hold with body scissors. The referee checks on Peterson to see if he can still continue and after a moment of no response the referee raises his arm up only for it fall back limp on the mat. The crowd rallies behind Peterson holding onto hope that he can find some energy left in his reserves to escape the dire situation.
Smith: Peterson is in dire straits but the fans haven’t given up hope.
Bradford: They can holler and scream all they want Smith, it’s not going to make a damn bit of difference with TJ Bryce in the driver’s seat. The name “Bryce”, first or last is a name that simply has his number.
The referee raises Peterson’s arm again as it again falls lifelessly to the mat. The referee checks one last time and is about to call for the bell but he raises his arm back up! The crowd claps to rally behind Peterson as he manages to slowly pull himself and Bryce off the mat. Bryce seems to have a deathgrip and shows no intentions of letting go but Peterson runs back with all his might into the turnbuckle forcing him to release the hold. Peterson drops to his knees as he slams his hand onto the mat several times as he manages to catch a second wind.
Smith: It’s not over until it’s over; James Peterson doesn’t know the meaning of the word quit!
Bradford: Pride before the fall Smith, his spirit is willing but his common sense should remind him that he’s facing TJ Bryce!
With the aid of the ropes Peterson gets back to his feet and hits a series of clotheslines on Bryce as he manages to get back to his feet before following up with a series of belly to belly and side suplexes. The tide had turned again as Peterson showed off a wide variety of suplexes that would make Taz proud. Peterson having had enough of Bryce kneels in the corner as he scouts his opponent, looking to hit his trademark Spear but before he can get a good running start Roman Gold grabs ahold of his leg and causes him to trip!
Smith: I should’ve known that son of a bitch would try to get involved sooner or later.
Bradford: Teammates look out for each other; Roman Gold is merely being a team player! He has to look out for his best interests as well as the best interests of the Gentlemen’s Club, you should be commending his selflessness instead of damning him!
Smith: Selfless my ass! We all know the only reason Roman Gold is at ringside is to keep the deck stacked against James Peterson. He should be ejected from ringside immediately.
Almost as if on cue the crowd erupts into a frenzy as Roman Gold’s eyes go wide as Deacon Cash and Bobby Langford dart out from the back. Roman Gold begins to panic, especially wanting nothing to do with 6 foot 8 Bobby Langford. Langford and Cash give chase to Roman Gold who quickly hops over the barricade and bails on TJ Bryce. Langford and Cash continue their pursuit as they hop over the barricade and chase him through the crowd to the back. Meanwhile Peterson had made it up to his feet trying to figure out exactly what happened, leaning over the top rope extending his hands to his sides. While Roman Gold being chased away from ringside normally would’ve been a disaster for Bryce manages to flip the script by rolling up a distracted Peterson grabbing a fistful of tights.

Barbara Braman: Here is your winner TJ Bryce!
Smith: TJ Bryce just committed grand larceny with a handful of tights!
Bradford: Hahaha! Two Bryce's in a row with the same loss! And that’s a backfire if I ever saw one! Langford and Cash come out to prevent interference only to unwittingly run the perfect distraction for TJ Bryce!
Notorious
Cutting from the ring, the camera appears in the streets outside of a waffle house where Tyson Pride and Frankie Cocheese are standing by a black 1987 Cadillac as he starts to speak.
Frankie Cocheese: You all thought i was flame in this game, Tyson spit your flame.
Missouri is where it at because we about that tradition so don't come to a conclusion that we are not helping this game
But in reality Missouri is the innovators of change
We flipping the script on the streets when then Notorious Thugs hit the scene
Everyone got the opinion that we are mean
While you are loosing steam because of your assumption of us we wont make a fuss
Frankie Cocheese: They are not ready for that flame yet! You don't think you can bring that flame again!
But you guys slow like Google chrome
Now the company going to be high like a blunt to the dome
Because this company values in tradition but you say we old like the ancient pillars of Rome
Everyone wishes for a cure for cancer just like guys wish Jennifer Lopez can be their personal dancer
People in this game say they are the best
I know some people will fail the test just like the next
I know you are going to take things i say out of context
Especially a hater that has the last name Best but is first name is not named Travis
Frankie Cocheese rolling with laughter while Tyson continues to freestyle
We are not greedy about things because we are out here just creating our Legacy
We don't worry about having followers because we are the leaders of change
So you better get ready to be ducking we are going to be popping off like we at a shooting range
Cocheese whispers Legacy like your ex girlfriend tells you she is leaving you for me
Now you can Bo-Lieve that Notorious Thugs are legit and that you need to quit it and face facts that we are the best in the streets
Tyson Pride & Frankie Cocheese: Get Ready for the rebirth of the Notorious Thugs! Hahahahaha.
Robert Garland Vs Salman Van Dam
Barbara Braman: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and by order of Drew Stevenson is now a No Disqualification match!
“Rules of Nature” by Jamie Christopherson plays over the arena, SVD making his way out of the back to a mixed reaction from the audience. However, most of the audience seems to be on his side, SVD posing at the top of the ramp with a kendo stick in hand while the arena’s lights beam down on the center of the ring. The lights form the shape of the Pakistani flag, SVD showing his proud nature towards his country before heading down the ramp.
Barbara Braman: Making his way to the ring… Now residing in Murray, Kentucky and weighing in at 225lbs, “The Hardcore Icon” Salman Van Dam!
Smith: I’m sure SVD specifically requested that nickname out of the many he’s known for. To give you some background, this match all started due to Salman and Garland’s claims to both be the very best in hardcore wrestling! Egos will be running high and bodies are sure to be put to the test out here tonight, in this No Disqualification match-up!
Bradford: SVD’s walking into a warzone that he’s well familiar with, Smith. However, his opponent is none other than the bringer of justice here in MSW! And, knowing Garland, he’s made this match personal as he’ll likely bring his very unique brand of justice to the crimes of SVD’s insults and pride!
Smith: You want to talk about pride? Robert Garland specifically requested this type of match-up due to, what he feels, SVD stepping on his legacy! And, love him or hate him, the crowd certainly seems to prefer this Hardcore Icon to the arrogant and self absorbed jerk that is The Badger.
SVD has since reached the ring and slides underneath the bottom rope. Van Dam seems shocked at the unusual amount of support and praise he’s receiving from the audience, but revels in it as he does his best to keep them in his corner. After a couple more poses from SVD, the lights cut off and his theme fades to silence, the audience now awaiting the arrival of his opponent as “Ephemeral” by Insomnium cuts through the atmosphere like a knife!
The crowd has now transitioned to both booing and loud jeering, Robert Garland coming out of the backstage area with a shopping cart full of weaponry. Garland looks out at the audience before completely focusing on SVD, and the camera zooming in on Travis Rech who is carrying both of Garland’s legacy championships while shouting about his client being “truth, justice, and honor.” After a brief staredown, Garland gives off a cocky smile and points to the shopping cart, both men making their way down the ramp as the camera now catches the back of the two men and focuses on the gold lettering on Garland’s jacket which spells out his name.
Barbara Braman: And the opponent! From New Orleans, Louisiana and weighing in at 226lbs… He is one half of one of the two teams for contendership to the MSW Tag Team Championships... Robert “Badger” Garland!
Smith: And I’m sure both he and his partner as ecstatic every time they hear that little bit of information…
Bradford: You’re forgetting, Smith! Part of the deal for this match being made was that Garland promised to work together with Washington as best he could for the duration of the Tag Team Championship Finals. I’d be surprised if both he and Washington don’t walk out of Back to Basics as champions!
Smith: And you believe him, Bradford? You think that Garland’s just going to sweep years of history under the rug for one moment of glory which he’d be sharing with a man he constantly reminds us of his hatred for?! Please! Garland’s doing the exact thing he continuously claims that Washington does! He’s scheming and plotting at every step of the way!
As Garland and Rech reach the ring, Garland parks the shopping cart which is now more closely inspected by the camera. The cart contains items Garland seems to have found in the backstage area: a plunger, coffee mug, staple gun, various cables, and more. Rech helps Garland remove his jacket before heading over to ringside, Garland not breaking his stare with SVD who is now challenging him to enter the ring with his kendo stick raised. After Garland’s music fades out, Garland looks to hop up on the apron…
“Re-Education (Through Labor)” now playing over the arena and instantly changing the clamoring of both boos and cheers to an uproar of praise as Frank Washington walks out of the back! Washington remains at the top of the ramp and smiles down at Garland who is obviously angered by his appearance. Washington poses for the fans and heads down the ramp, his trademarked red coat standing out as he makes his way.
Barbara Braman: And finally, Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome your special guest commentator for this contest! “The Revolutionary” Frank Washington!
Bradford: I don’t agree with this one bit! This is just another scheme like all the one’s Garland has been mentioning in the past! Why is it alright for The MSW staff to constantly put Garland in these situations when all he’s been doing for the company is making it a profit and exposing the true character of some of its top stars!?
Smith: Well, I of course am all for it! It’ll be nice to hear how Washington feels going into Back to Basics firsthand! And, of course, there’s nothing better than a possible equalizer to that shady individual that is Travis Rech!
As Washington passes Garland, the two of them lock eyes and meet face to face. Washington starts talking trash, Garland looking ready to fight… A baseball slide hitting Garland in the back of the head as he goes down and SVD starts the match off!
Washington makes his way to the announcement table, SVD letting fly a few stomps as Rech yells at him and the crowd cheers loudly! SVD quickly heads over to the shopping cart, starting to toss some of the weaponry into the ring as Washington gets on one of the headsets.
Smith: It's a pleasure to have you at ringside Frank.
Frank Washington: Glad to be here, I'm looking forward to how this match turns out.
Bradford: I bet you are, you just want to see Garland take some abuse in the middle of that ring and cheat him out of a victory again.
Frank Washington: I'm having a great day, thanks for asking Bradford. I'm just out here to watch two of the world's best hardcore wrestlers go at it one on one. Remember Robert Garland was the one who requested this match to become a no disqualification match so if you want to point the finger at anyone Bradford point it at the man you claim is "justice".
With SVD in control early, and the ring now flooded with objects, SVD heads back over to Garland who stands back up and hits a hard left hand! SVD is sent reeling back, Garland following with a knee to SVD’s gut and a hard clubbing blow to his back as he’s doubled over. Garland keeps on the offense, grabbing SVD and tossing him viciously into the barricade around ringside! SVD hits the wall with a hard *THUD*, Garland now making space as he enters the ring and challenges the audience’s reaction with both arms outstretched in a very Washington-like pose. The fans reject him, Garland now rummaging through the objects as SVD gets back to his feet on the outside.
Frank Washington: Can't beat the original but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. He should stop wasting his time and focus on the match if you ask me. Sal and I have a little bit of history together down in Knoxville and having personally teamed with him several times at live events he's the kind of competitor that will make you pay dearly for giving him time to recover.
Smith: Well he's not called the Hardcore Icon just for show. His ring work is impressive but he's just downright maniacal when you give him free reign over the rules.
Frank Washington: Absolutely but to be fair so is Robert Garland. As much as I can't stand that asshole he's as dangerous as they come in a hardcore environment, hell I have first hand experience fighting him at Best of the Best as well as the infamous Wal Mart brawl back in 2010.
Bradford: Yet you conveniently forget that Garland is Truth and Justice! Way to stay impartial Washington! You just want to see him fail don't you?
SVD gets into the ring, Garland now wielding a plunger and swinging wildly - SVD ducking under and hitting the ropes… Second swing, ducked under! - SVD bouncing back! - A Jumping Clothesline grounding Garland! SVD keeps on the offense, stomping away again before lifting Garland back to his feet… Suplex attempt… Blocked by Garland! SVD hits a few right hands to Garland’s gut before trying again and lifting Garland up - Garland falling back to his feet and reversing the situation! A rough looking Suplex now sends SVD to the mat where he consciously rolls back to the outside only to have Garland follow him out.
Garland grabs SVD by the head on the outside, slamming it off of the apron before stepping on SVD’s foot and hitting another hard left! Garland grabs SVD’s head again and looks to follow up, but turns to stare at Washington as both men near the announce table. Washington stands up, addressing Garland.
Frank Washington: How does it feel to be fed to the sharks for once? Any regrets Badger boy?
Robert Garland: Stay out of this, asshole!
Frank Washington: You're telling me to stay out of this? What about all the times where you blindsided me or left me out to dry? You've become exactly what you claim to crusade against! You're not "justice", you're a fraud!
SVD recovers while both men argue, his head still in Garland’s hands as he battles back with a few elbow shots! Garland is forced to let go, SVD following the elbows with a stiff kick to Garland’s midsection before grabbing Garland and, this time, tossing him into the barricade! The audience cheers for The Hardcore Icon, SVD reaching into the ring and grabbing the staple gun before making his way over to the nearest group of fans.
After a short conversation with a few of the fans in the front row, and while Garland is still recovering, SVD manages to talk them into handing over one of their cardboard signs. Van Dam thanks them, walking over to where Garland is and kicking him while he’s downed. Van Dam drops the sign and staple gun and gets in a mounted position, Garland’s back resting on the barricade as a flurry of rights and lefts hit him over the head. SVD now grabs Garland by the hair, getting behind him and receiving the audience’s approval as he looks to staple the sign to Garland’s forehead! The camera focuses to show the sign reading “Washington Is My Hometown Hero!” Garland now recovered a bit and trying to push SVD off as he lowers the gun and Garland grabs it with both hands!
Bradford: This is absolutely disgusting! How dare SVD!
Frank Washington: Hey put a few more staples in him Sal, make sure that sign sticks!
Bradford: You're taking pleasure in this aren't you, you flaming hypocrite!
Frank Washington: You're damn right I am but at least SVD only pulled a staple gun out instead of a real gun. I'm not going to take anything away from his ability in the ring and I'm certainly not going to dispute his long standing reputation in hardcore matches but I never made any claims that I was out here to cheer Badger on or support him. Shoe's on the other foot now, karma's a bitch Bradford. At least I'm honest about it, you're supposed to be unbiased but clearly that's not the case with your ongoing love affair with Bryce Manning.
SVD continues, now hitting Garland with the staple gun before putting it in place and pulling the trigger! The sign is now clipped on, Garland yelling out in pain as SVD hits one more kick before heading back towards the ring while Rech seemingly passes something to Garland who looks at his manager out of the corner of his eye. SVD’s now returning to his opponent, an electrical cable in hand as Garland does his best to hide the object… Before spraying the fire extinguisher blindly towards SVD!
SVD is sent reeling back as tries to cover his face, Garland now livid and getting to his feet - Hitting SVD with the extinguisher to the gut, and then pulling the sign off while SVD falls to the floor! Garland takes time to read the sign, his forehead trickling a little bit of blood down his face. With a large fit of rage and after seeing what the sign said, Garland now aggressively lifts SVD and tosses him back in the ring and under the bottom rope.
Smith: Garland is just simply pissed off now having read that sign. That might have damned SVD in the long run.
Frank Washington: I'm not so sure. He's definitely fired up but you can guarantee he's not going to be thinking clearly, if Sal is smart about this he could turn it to his advantage.
Bradford: If? That's a huge understatement.
Garland is angrier than ever, stomping away at SVD after following him in and looking around on the mat before finally settling on his next piece of equipment. The audience boos, Garland picking a fork up from off of the ground and lifting SVD up by the hair. Garland gets behind SVD, kneeing him in the back a few times before pulling his head back and raising the fork. Garland yells out at the crowd ”Are you not entertained!?" before inching the fork into SVD’s forehead and causing his opponent to bleed! Garland moves the fork around a bit as the tips remain in SVD’s forehead, SVD now yelling out in pain and Garland now tossing the fork aside and throwing SVD down stiffly and onto his face! SVD bounces hard off the mat, Garland checking his own forehead again before flipping SVD onto his back and going for the pin.
Tw- Kickout by SVD!
Smith: Despite all the abuse each man has endured, SVD STILL managed to kick out before the count of two. Unbelievable.
Bradford: He's got fortitude I'll give him that, but he should just make it easy on himself and lay down. The longer he fights Garland the more abuse he's going to take.
Frank Washington: Both men are taking plenty of abuse but they're veterans of the hardcore style. They know the risks, they know the dangers involved with this style. I can't say that I'm a fan of hardcore wrestling, it's not a recipe for a long and healthy career. Hell I dropped a hardcore belt in the trash one time before I got kicked out of Canada but with all of that aside neither man is going to drop until they can't continue any further. If nothing else I can definitely respect the sheer determination and drive to endure the hell they're putting each other through.
Garland gives SVD a look of contempt, slowly pulling him back up to his feet as more blood runs down his face. Garland takes some extra time to insult SVD on the way up, his words seemingly hitting a nerve as SVD returns the favor with a sudden low blow! Garland cups himself, and falls to his knees, SVD now shouting at Garland as he grabs for the kendo stick he entered the arena with. As Garland remains on his knees, SVD violently hits Garland across the back, Garland perking up a bit before receiving another shot which is followed by a third! Garland leans on the ropes, SVD rallying the crowd behind him as Rech tries to assist Garland once more, sliding him a pair of brass knuckles - Which SVD stops with his foot!
Rech looks beside himself, SVD now grabbing for them and readying a knockout punch while Garland starts to rise. With the match currently in his favor, SVD points to Garland who is now on his knees, then to the brass knuckles, and finally towards the nearest turnbuckle, making it clear that he's looking to deliver a final blow before heading to the corner and climbing to the top rope. The audience is in a frenzy as SVD readies himself...
Bradford: He's going to give him a damn concussion with those brass knuckles from that elevation!
Frank Washington: Travis Rech is all about making money, even at the expense of a man he calls his friend. When Garland is on the ropes he'll try to bend and break every single rule in the book to give him an edge because his check depends on it. He gets away with it a lot but this time its going to backfire in a disastrous way.
SVD measures Garland as Garland finally gets back up, Van Dam looking for a top rope variation of the Superman Punch and coming down fast - Brain Damage connecting from out of nowhere as Garland's leg comes up and his foot connects with the in-air Van Dam! The match looks finished, Garland falling over Van Dam with a cover!
Two!
Frank Washington: Never count Salman Van Dam out until it's over. He'll keep coming back for more, quit isn't a word in his vocabulary.
Garland looks like he can't believe it, a look of shock remains on his face as Rech holds his head on the outside with a wide eyed expression! The crowd continues to cheer for Salman Van Dam!
Garland, obviously bothered by this chant, looks to continue as SVD seems to catch a second wind and wraps both arms around Garland's neck!
SVD pulls Garland back down to the mat, locking in the IconVise Grip! Garland is stranded in the middle of the ring, Van Dam yelling for Garland to tap out as Garland reaches around for another weapon to help him escape. With everything just out of reach, Garland struggles but slowly looks to be fading... Before forcing himself back to his feet - SVD keeping the hold locked in an falling backwards to turn it into a Hell's Gate variation!
Garland remains standing, but hunched over as SVD refuses to let go! Garland fights back by trying to lift SVD up and hits a sloppy looking powerbomb, SVD still holding on as Garland looks for a second powerbomb - And runs out of energy, fully ensnared by the hold and slowly passing out!
Frank Washington: And that pendulum swings back the other way once again. The IconVise Grip is one of the deadliest submission holds in all of professional wrestling, very few men have escaped the hold.
Bradford: He's strangling the life out of him, he's going to turn cherry red and burst a blood vessel at this point!
Smith: He's out, SVD has completely cut off the oxygen supply to his body.
The referee, who's had little involvement with this match thus far, moves in to check on Garland. The Badger seems completely knocked out, the referee now in position to call for the bell -
Frank Washington: It's been fun but I have a certain "hobo" to evict...
Washington removes his headset, Rech noticing as Frank slides into the ring and chases him out. Washington follows behind, both men running towards the backstage area as Garland and SVD are left on the mat with the audience still in a frenzy. The crowd claps loudly and the arena is in an uproar, Van Dam and Garland slowly rising at about the same time and at the same pace.
Smith: SVD had the match won, he had Robert Garland beat! Now this match is going to continue without outside interference as it should've been from the very beginning.
Bradford: I don't get the big deal Smith, it's a No Disqualification match, anything and everything is legal. Travis Rech was operating clearly and completely within the scope of the rules.
With both men now back to their feet, clearly on their last legs and the arena now cleared of distractions, SVD hits a hard right hand which Garland returns with a left of his own! Right from SVD! Left from Garland! Right! Left! Right! Le-Right! Right! Right! SVD backs Garland towards the ropes, kicking some objects aside as looks to send Garland accross - Reversal from Garland as SVD is whipped hard! - Lariat attempt ducked under by SVD on the rebound, Garland spinning around as Van Dam bounces back again - A Discus Global Lariat catching Van Dam as SVD is sent viciously to the ground!
Garland gets the cover again, clearly tired and worn out as the audience boos loudly!
-
Bradford: Frank Washington will have to get off his lazy ass and do his job for the team, you heard the man! Garland got his wish so he'll play nice for the tag title match.
Smith: You must be the only person in the world that actually believes that. It wouldn't surprise me if Garland used this as a cover to bow out of the tag match and leave Frank alone in a handicap match.
Bradford: Garland is Truth, always remember that! Do you think he'd lie to Talent Relations about that?
Bubbly Claw Experience FOR LIFE!
Coming back from commercial, we're opening up backstage we have Kat and Marie Porter, standing by with Robert Fields.
Marie Porter: Haha silly Robbie. It's easy! Though... my head does still kinda hurt from that belt... but... BUT... it's okay! See I'm going to get Artie back. She can make all of her threats to me, it's not going to make any difference when the Marie Experience and all of my Porters steam roll right over her! Yeeeaaa! Haha.
Kat: Maybe, maybe not. It depends if that little wench can keep her nose clean. I can't WAIT for Marie to beat her tonight, Robert. I can't wait to see the look on her face because she finally gets the match she's wanted with Marie and let me tell you what, this girl is one tough cookie in that ring. As far as my match with Artemis goes? Well little "Artie" is just going to have to wait two weeks to see me kick her teeth in.
Marie: Awww, you're so awesome, Kat!
Kat: Yeah, yeah, you're not so bad yourself, Marie. Bubbles and Claws.. Bubbles and Claws. So good luck tonight and if she tries anything I've got your back.
Marie: YEEEAAAAA! Thanks, Kitty! Artie is going down!
Robert had stepped back as the "CHAMPION FOR LIFE" Artemis Kaiser had stepped onto the scene, her title across her shoulder and a big smirk.
Artemis Kaiser: You two just can't get enough of each other, can you? You know what? I'm sick of it. I am honest to god, one hundred and ten percent sick of hearing about "bubbles" this and "bubbles" that, or this bubbles and claw.. bubbly claw... fish out of water... whatever the hell you two nit-wits are calling yourselves. I'm sick - of - it. But that's why I'm going to beat you tonight, Marie. I'm going to send you and that annoying bubbly attitude packing right out of MSW. And as for you.... pasty... well, I'd watch where you're stepping because you're not taking this from me any time soon. So wish Marie the best of luck, and Marie you wish her just the absolute best of luck because as far as I see it right now?
She undoes the belt and holds it up by the strap and looks at it.
Artemis Kaiser: I'm the Champion... wait for it...
Artemis walked away laughing and Kat and Marie both had a look of annoyance on their faces and couldn't wait to get in the ring with the champ.
Preparing for the Main Event
As MSW returns from commercial break the viewing audience is welcomed to a split screen of two opposing locker rooms for tonight’s main event. On one side of the screen Bryce Manning and The Apocalypse can be seen going over last minute strategy while on the other the team of Johnny B., Peyton Von Licht, and Luke Jackson can be seen talking finishing applying the tape to their hands and wirsts.
Smith: We still have the main event yet to come in what could very well become World War 3 with all the combustible elements together in one ring.
Bradford: Definitely worthy of the main event we could very well be seeing a preview of the MSW Championship match with Luke Jackson and Peyton on the same side against Bryce Manning; But at Back to Basics there will be no partnerships or friendships with the biggest prize in all of Missouri on the line. Johnny B. will also look to keep building his momentum as he along with Yugo Phailous will challenge Frank Washington and Robert Garland for the vacant Tag Team Championship.
Smith: Absolutely but before we get there we still have Marie Porter looking to get a measure of revenge against the self-proclaimed “Champion For Life” Artemis Kaiser in what could be a show stealer in and of itself. That match is next!
Artemis Kaiser Vs Marie Porter
We’re back out to ringside with Marie’s music fading out, and “Legendary” by Royce Da 5’9 feat. Travis Barker hits the speakers.
The song cuts to the chorus and the arena fills with a mixture of cheers and boos for the Women’s champion, Artemis Kasier as he makes his way out to the ring, the title around his waist and she yells at the fans “I’M NOT TOUCHING YOU!”
Artemis stays as close to the middle of the ramp as she can as to not get near the people. She stops at the apron and looks side to side at the people booing her, giving her a big thumbs down and she cocks a smirk. Artemis undoes the belt from her waist and slides into the ring getting face to face with Marie Porter and raises the belt high, telling her “THIS IS MY BELT! I’M THE CHAMPION FOR LIFE!” The referee backs her up and takes the belt, handing it off to the ringside help. When they’re in their corners the bell rings and the crowd starts immediately.
Smith: I can’t believe what I’m hearing but this crowd is behind these ladies, both of them it’s hard to tell who’s got that crowd advantage!
Bradford: Because it’s hard to pick a favorite in our Women’s Division because they’re all so good. It’s why they’re the best in the business, regardless of what our haters say!
The two ladies circle around each other and start to signal for a tie up but Artemis takes the cheap shot with a kick to the gut of Marie, doubling her over and dropping Marie with a DDT and a quick cover but only two. Artemis grabs a handful of Marie’s hair and just starts to lay punches into her and another cover, but only another two. Artemis gets up and gets into the corner, leaning into it waiting on Marie who doesn’t take long to get to her feet. Artemis rushes out of the corner but is caught with a big powerslam by Marie and a quick cover by Marie but only a two.
Marie brings Artemis to her feet and to the corner. Marie backs up and gets a running start and connects a big running splash in the corner and follows up with a hip toss but Artemis lands on her feet and throws a kick back to Marie with a SMACK that could be heard through the entire Theater.
Smith: Did you hear that kick, Bradford?! This match has been nothing but intense back and forth so far!
Bradford: Of course it is, Smith! The Champion for Life is involved! Plus all the eye candy… how can this NOT be good?!
Smith: Well it could be any other promotion that’s not us.
Bradford: Alright, fair enough. You’ve got me there. Everybody gets one, Smith! Everybody get’s one!
The match continued as a back and forth for not much longer when Artemis had taken control. A few minutes had gone by and Artemis has Marie in the corner, just stomping into her gut but Marie is able to catch one of the kicks and turn it around throwing Artemis into the corner now and starts to light her up with a few knife edge chops before Artemis throws a thumb to Marie’s eyes and slides through the ropes to the outside.
Artemis mocks the boos and starts to circle around the ring, collecting herself and even grabs her belt and stares into it looking at her own reflection before Marie comes up from behind and throws Artemis into the ring.
Marie follows in, and catches Artemis trying to use the belt. Marie ducked it and Artemis dropped the belt, but used a forearm to Marie’s back knocking her into the ropes. Artemis whips Marie who comes back with a big attempted Lou Thez Press, but Artemis side stepped with a kick to Marie’s gut with another loud SMACK and Artemis quickly went over to her belt, checking on it to make sure it was alright.
Smith: Oh come on! That belt shouldn’t even be in the ring!
Bradford: She’s just making sure it’s safe, Smith! Nothing wrong with that!
Smith: Despite the fact that she already tried to use it once and… OH GOD! ARTEMIS DID IT AGAIN!
What Smith was referring to was that Artemis ended up actually using the belt again, seeing Marie coming up behind her in the reflection. She did it right in front of the referee who called the bell for the disqualification.
Barbara: Your winner by Disqualification, MMMAARRIIIEEE POORRTTEEERRR!
Smith: I can’t believe Artemis just cause a second disqualification in a row! First it was getting Marie disqualified against Kat, and now when Marie is getting a full head of steam, Artemis uses that damn belt to get herself out of it by getting disqualified!
Bradford: She’s protecting her assets, Smith! She’s got a big match against Kat in two weeks and she wants to be one hundred percent!
Smith: OH COME ON! Artemis is just continuing to stomp into Marie Porter after the match!
Just then the eerie, echoing guitar and drums from “Freak on a Leash” by Korn hits the speakers and the crowd erupts as Kat comes running out. Artemis bails out with her belt real fast as Kat hit the ring and took her attention to Marie, helping her up with Artemis yelling out “CHAMPION FOR LIIIFEE! SEE YOU SOOON!” and she blew Kat a kiss and we cut to commercial
